Description
VisAccess proximity cards from Visonic Technologies
are EM 4100 compliant Radio Frequency (RF)
disturbance devices. The cards are designed for use as
electronic keys for doors protected by VisAccess TagIn-A-Bag, AXS-10 and AXS-100/200 systems or other
third-party Wiegand 26-bit access control solutions.
Made of tough polycarbonate material, VisAccess
proximity cards are strong, flexible and resistant to
cracking and breaking. The cards are powered by the
RF signal transmitted from the proximity reader. To
open a door, the user simply holds the card in front of
the wall-mounted proximity reader. VisAccess
proximity cards are unaffected by body shielding or
other environmental conditions, even when close to
keys and coins. A single card can be conveniently
programmed to open any combination of doors on the
system.
Because each VisAccess proximity card is unique, it's
virtually impossible to forge or duplicate a card,
providing the assurance that no two cards; or people
will be misidentified. In-field programmability supports
data updates on-the-fly so that if a card is lost or
stolen, it can easily be deleted from the system.
VisAccess Proximity Cards are available with any
desired logo, label, color or imprint and with a large
variety of printing types and colors, according to
customer requirements.
