Connecting the unit to an outlet supplying a higher voltage may create a fire hazard.
HANDLE THE POWER CORD WITH CARE
Do not disconnect the plug from the AC outlet by pull ing th e cord ; always pull the plug itself. Pulling the cord may damage it. I f you d o not intend to use your unit for any considerable length of time, unplug the unit. Do not place furnitur e or ot he r heavy objects on the cord, and try to avoid dropping heavy ob jects on it. Do not tie a knot in the pow e r cor d. Not only could the cord be damaged , but a short circuit could a lso be caused with a con sequent fire hazard.

• Moist or humid places

MOVING THE UNIT
Before moving the uni t, be sure to pull out the power cord from the AC outlet and d isconnect the interconnection cords with ot her uni ts.

If you detect an abnormal smell or smoke, turn this product off immediately and unp lug the power cord. Contact your reseller or Vision.

INTRODUCTION
This product tra nsmits 1080p (30 Hz) video and audio con tent around a building using the power cables alread y in place. It uses “Powerline” or “Homeplug” technology with a mod ified Quality of Service (QoS) to avoid drop-outs.

INSTALLATION
Connecting Rx
1. CONNECT TO DISPLAY with included HDMI cab le
2. TURN DISPLAY ON and select correct input
3. PLUG IN TO POWER power light goes green
Connecting Tx
1. CONNECT INPUTS from source devices
2. [OPTIONAL] CONNECT OUTPUT to loca l d isplay if there is one
3. PLUG IN TO POWER power light goes green
When the Tx is powered on the Rx will automatic a l ly come out of standby. If the transmitter is powered off the rece iver will switch to Stan dby after 10 minutes automatically.

Connecting IR Blasters
It is possible to point your source remote control at the Rx, and it will relay the IR signal back to the source/s wirelessly.
1. CONNECT IR EMITTER TO TX Correct cable has 2 x IR emitter diod es inline to control two source devices. Position them directly over the IR receivers on the source equipment.
2. [OPTIONAL] CONNECT IR RECEIVER TO RX Correct cable has 1 x IR receiver diode. If receiver will be hid den out of sight use the IR receiver cable. Place near display so it ca n capture commands fr o m source remote controls/s.
NOTE 1: when receiver cable is plugged in receiver on rx chassis is disabled
NOTE 2:
The IR sensors support
36~56kHz signal protocol. Some devices may not be supported.

OPERATION
1. CHECK REMOTE CONTROL Ensure the 2 x AAA batteries are loaded into the remote control.
2. TURN POWER ON When mains power is turned on the Tx and Rx will automatically turn on.
They can be powered on in any ord e r
If both in standby both need to be turned on manually
3. TURN POWER OFF
Pressing Rx or Remote control power button turns Rx off, but leaves Tx on so that the pass-through on T x continues to work.
As soon as they are both on the green lin k light will flash for 15-2 0 seconds while the link is established, then it will stay on.
NOT WORKING?
If you don’t have an image ensure:
1. The correct input is selected on your display device. Even when th e re is no link an on screen display will be output from the receiver.
2. The computer is set to duplicate or extend the desktop (Control Panel\Ap pearanc e and Personalisation\Display\Screen Resolution)

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your system is not operati ng properly, please refer to the following information.
Problem

Power indicator LED doesn't light up
Check power plugs are properly inserted
Check another device in the same power outlet to ch eck

No video output
Check cables connecting Rx to disp lay. Test with other cab les.
Check correct in put is select on disp lay

o Ensure video resolution and frame rate is supported.
Temporarily reduce r e s olution on source to se e if this helps.
o Connect source devi ce directly to display to check and
modify video forma t co mpatibility.
Poor or intermittent image
Check resolution of source. It should be 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, or 480p. 3D is not supported.
No audio or intermittent audio
Check audio sys tem or display has correct input selected a n d is not muted.
Check volume on source device
Reconnect HDMI cable to display.
Disconnecting power cables from T x a n d Rx for 5 seconds
then re-connect
IR Blaster not

Check location o f IR emitter. It should be line-of-sight of receiver

WARRANTY
This product comes with a 2-year return to base warranty, effective from the date of purchase. This warranty app lie s only to the original purchaser and is not tr a nsferable. For the avoidance of doubt, this will be taken from the information held by the appointed national distributor at the point of sale. If the pr oduct is DOA (dead on a r rival), you have 21 days fro m purchase date to notify the national d is tributor via your AV reseller. The liability of the manufacturer a n d its appointed service co m pany is limited to the cost of repair and/o r r e placement of the faul ty u nit under warranty, except for death or injury (EU85/374/EEC). This warranty protects you against the following:
• Failure of any compone nts, including the p ower supply.
• Damage when the product is first removed fr o m its packaging if rep o r te d within 24 hours of purchase. If you find you do have a problem w ith this product, you should conta ct the AV reseller you purchased this prod uct from. The original p u r ch aser is responsible for shipment of the p r o duct to the manufacturer’s appointed service centre for repair. We will endeavour to return repaired units within 5 working days, ho wever this may not always be possible, in which case it will be return e d as soon as practicab ly possible. In line with our WEEE commitments, the manufacturer end e avours to replace th e faulty parts of the pr o duct rather than replacing the whole unit. This war ra nty does not protect this product against fa ults caused by abuse, misu se, incorrect installation, unstable or faulty power input, w h ich might be caused by ignoring the guidelines set out in this manual.
