503V Motion Sensor with Camera
Quick Reference Guide
Congratulations on the purchase of your Viper Home Security Accessory. This guide walks you through the process of adding this accessory to your system and for mounting your accessory.
Note: Make sure you already have a Viper Home Starter kit or Viper Home Hub installed. Please refer to the quick reference guides found in these sys­tems, or visit: www.viper.com/home/support.
1. Log into your Viper Home account at:
home.viper.com
2. To pair the Camera to your system:
Click on the “Devices” tab Click “Add New Device” Click “Add Camera”
3. You are then prompted to insert the batteries
provided within three minutes. First, remove the mounting piece on the back of the camera, then remove the battery cover and install the AA batteries provided.
4. Once the batteries are
inserted the system automatically connects

and confirms the camera is paired with your system.
5. After the camera is paired, you can give it a
unique name (i.e. “Living Room”) In this screen, if you click the “More” button, you can set up additional options for the de­vice, such as “arm stay”, or “custom arm”, as well as select what action the camera performs when triggered.
6. Once completed, click the “Finish” button.
The camera is now ready for mounting.
Mounting instructions:
1. The spherical lens must be
pointing down and placed on a wall where it will detect move­ment inside the room.
2. For best results, mount the
camera on a wall where it can capture images as an intruder enters the home.
3. The device should be placed
approximately 86” from the floor and at least 4“ from the ceiling. Note: Do not place the device in an area that receives direct sunlight.
4. Once you have chosen the desired mounting
location, remove the backing from the tape on the mounting piece and mount the device.

Alternatively, you can also mount the device with standard drywall screws by screwing the mounting piece directly to the wall through the circular dimples on the mounting piece.
