Art. 02032 is a programmable power supply unit for surface or panel mounting with omega DIN bar size 4 modules. It is equipped with an input (+I), an output (+U) and terminals (A,B,C,D) that, appropriately connected together, determine different voltages at the output.
The power supply unit is used for:
1- Parallel video door entry unit power supply
2- Power supply of video camera and video distributors
3- Video amplifier power supply
2. CHARACTERISTICS
• Power supply voltage 230Va.c. 50Hz
• Maximum input power: 35VA
• Protection of the primary winding of the transformer: PTC SIEMENS TYPE C860.
• Protection of the internal electronics and shorting on the outputs: PTC SIEMENS TYPE C945

4.1 POWER SUPPLY OF VIDEO DOOR ENTRY UNITS IN PARALLEL (INTERMITTENT SERVICE)
The power supply unit must be inserted in the video door entry system to switch on two or more video door entry units simultaneously: the first monitor must be connected directly to the system’s power supply unit, all the subsequent ones must each be powered by a power unit Art. 02032.
Make the connection as in the diagram representing the connection of just the conductors + and - ; then complete the connections following the diagram
supplied with the power units Art. 6580, 6581 and 6680, bearing in mind that, to switch on 2 or more video door entry units simultaneously it is sufficient
to connect in parallel the terminals no. 8 (call) of the standard monitors or the terminals 6E of the Sound System series monitors, etc.
Input voltage: +I - , 10 to 20Vd.c.
Output voltage: +U - , 18Vd.c. 0.8A not stabilized
N.B. Make a bridge between the terminals A and B.

- Before connecting the appliance make sure that the panel data conform to the data of the distribution network.
- This appliance must be intended solely for the use for which it has been expressly designed, and that is for audio door entry systems. Any other use is to be con-
sider improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable use.
- Warning: To prevent injury, this appliance must be secured to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.
- Before doing any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the electric supply mains, turning the system switch off.
- In the event of faulty and/or poor operation of the appliance, cut off the power supply with the switch and do not tamper with it. For any repair work, contact only a technical support centre authorised by the manufacturer. Failure to comply with the above may jeopardise the safety of the appliance.
- Do not obstruct the openings or slots for ventilation or heat disposal and do not subject the appliance to drips or splashes of water.
- The installer must make sure the user information is given on the derived appliances.
- All the appliances forming the system must be intended solely for the use for
which they have been designed.
- The installer must make sure the user information is given on the appliances.
- This document must always remain enclosed with the system’s documentation.
