The Viking Professional Line

Basic specifications – Professional hoods

A 1,200 CFM interior- or exterior-power ventilator should be used when installed over range/rangetop with gas char-grill.

It is recommended that the 1,500 CFM ventilator be used with longer duct runs. Please note: Maximum amp rating for hoods includes recommended ventilator kit rating; all products must be hard wired with 2-wire with ground. An interior- or exterior-power ventilator kit must be purchased for installation with all 18" high hoods.

All 18" high rangehood ventilator kits include rough-in kit, transition to round duct (7" round for VIV600 – all other 10" round), and damper (if applicable).

All ventilator kits use 120VAC/60Hz.

Proper installation is extremely important to ensure maximum performance from any ventilation product.

1. All CFMs stated based on tests with .1 static pressure; without applying static pressure (some brands consciously do not), CFM could be greatly overstated.

2. Duct run length is for general reference only; for longer duct runs, increase duct size and contact a qualified and trained installer.
