Wash Cycles
POTS/PANS
Heavily soiledpots, pans and casseroledishes. Intense pressure,added wash time andhigh temperatures.
NORMAL WASH
Normally soiledplates, glasses, bowls, and lightly soiledpots and pans. Varyingpressure levels. Energyusage label is basedon this cycle.
ECONO WASH
Normally soiledplates, glasses, bowls, and lightly soiledpots and pans. Lowerslast rinse temperature andincreases cycle time for optimum performance.
LIGHT/CHINA
Lightly soileddishes or fine chinaand crystal. Low temperature,shorter wash and rinse. Varying pressurelevels to ensurewash performance andprotect delicate dishes.
RINSE/HOLD
All dishware.Short, non-heated rinse withhigh pressure.
Wash Options
TOP WASH (450E model)
Washes disheson top rack only.Available on Normal Cycle.
HI TEMP WASH
Increases time,temperatures and may add extra waterto improve cleaning performance. Available withPots/Pans and Normal cycles.
NOTE: Whenused with Pots/Pans cycle, periods of soaking will occur to aid in the removal of baked on soils.
ECONO DRY (450E model)
Selects a“no heat” dry.Available on Normal, Econo Wash,and Light China Cycles.
DELAY START
Lets you delay running the dishwasher. To set “Delay Start”,select the desiredwash cycle and option(s). Press the“Delay Start” key once and the number “2”will light, indicating a twohour delay. If you desire a longer delay, continue pressing the “Delay Start” key to the desired delay time. The corresponding number on the key will light. Once you have set the desired delay time,press the “START”button and close the door.“Delay Start” is not availablewith the Rinse/Hold cycle. Available delaytimes vary by models.
Audible Sound Signal
A singlebeep will occur whenyou select cycles, optionsand press the “START”key. The end-of-cycle signalconsists of 2 longbeeps. If the “START”button is not pressedor if the door isnot closed within 4seconds of pressing the “START”button, 3 short beepswill occur. For allother error messages andto deselect the audiblesound signal, see the Troubleshooting/FaultCodes section.
NOTE: Option,Cycle and Start keys will only illuminate after they are selected.

Cycle Data
Changing a program after the unit has started
T
he dishwasheris programmed to stopoperating if the dooris opened during acycle. To changea program oroption after starting themachine, open the doorslightly to let thespray arms stop rotating and avoidgetting sprayed with water.Press and hold “
START”for four seconds to cancelthe current s
election. Thenpress the touchpad(s) foryour d
esired selection.
Press “START”again and closethe door. The drain pump willrun to remove anydirty water from the dishwasher beforestarting the newly selectedcycle. Check tomake sure there isstill detergent in the detergent dispenser.
Opening the door after Cycle has started
I
f thedoor is opened forlonger than five seconds, after thecycle has started, the”START” button will flash toindicate that the dishwasheris in Standby Mode. Pressthe “START” buttonbefore closing the door andthe cycle will resume.
Power On Light
A
blue lightwill illuminate from thebottom right corner ofthe dishwasher kickplate when acycle is running.
Load allitems so that theforce of the waterand t

heets, etc.,DO NOT touchinterior walls.
The Silverware/Cutlery Basket
Tips forBest Cleaning Results:
• Distributeitems evenly and mix knives,forks, and spoons sothat items will avoidnesting.
ALWAYSplace forks andspoons with eating portions upand handles down.
• Eachcompartment has a lid whichwill separate the silverware forthe best cleaning anddrying results. The lidsalso hold small, lightweightitems in place.
IMPORTANT: Sharpor pointed items,such as knives, shouldalways be put inwith the point down toprotect your hands.
• Basketcan be moved to upperrack or lower rack.
Adjusting Racks
The Lower Rack
The lowerrack is bestfor dinner plates,smaller plates, serving plates,larger bowls,pots, and pans.
• Securelyplace heavily soiledcookware face downin the rack.
• Usethe fold-down tinesto provide spacefor large items suchas pots andpans.
• Makesure pot handles and other items DO NOTstop rotationof lower wash armby hanging below the rack.
The Upper Rack
The upperrack is bestfor glasses, cups,bowls, small plates, andsaucers andcan accommodatefull-sized plates upto 10-1/4”.
• Makesure small plasticitems are heldfirmly in place withHold Tight™ dividers.
• Arrange stemware between prongs of stemware cradle sothat the stemware cannot move easily.
• Makesure items hanging below the rackDO NOTblock the rotationof the washarm.
