POTS/PANS
Heavily soiledpots, pans and casseroledishes. Long heatedprewash loosens up encrusted food. Hightemperature main wash andfinal rinse.
NORMAL WASH
Normally soiledplates, glasses, bowls, and lightly soiledpots and pans. Energyusage label isbased on this cycle.
ECONO/CHINA
Normally soileddishware, china and crystal. Lower temperaturewash cycle.
RINSE/HOLD
All dishware.Short rinse with noheat.
Wash Options
HI TEMP WASH
Increases thetemperature of the mainwash and finalrinse portions of thecycle. May add extra waterfor improved cleaning performance. Availableon Pots/Pans and Normal cycles.
DELAY START
Lets youdelay running the dishwasherfor up to fourhours. To set“DELAY START”, select the desiredwash cycle and option(s).Press the “DELAYSTART” button once andthe number “2” willlight, indicating a twohour delay. If you desirea longer delay,continue pressing the “DELAYSTART” button toa four hour delay.The corresponding number onthe button willlight. Once you haveset the desired delay time,press the “START”button and close thedoor. “DELAYSTART” is not available with theRinse/Hold cycle.
AUDIBLE SOUND SIGNAL
A singlebeep will occur whenyou select cycles, optionsand press the “START”key. The end-of-cyclesignal consists of 2long beeps. Ifthe “START” button isnot pressed or if thedoor is not closedwithin four seconds of pressing the“START” button, 3short beeps will occur.For all othererror messages and to deselectaudible signal, see the Troubleshooting/FaultCodes section.

Cycle Data
Changing a program after the unit has started
T
he dishwasheris programmed to stopoperating if the dooris opened during acycle. To changea program oroption after starting themachine, open the doorslightly to let thespray arms stop rotating and avoidgetting sprayed with water.Press and hold “
START”for four seconds to cancelthe current s
election, thenpress the touchpad(s) foryour desired s
election.
Press “START”again and closethe door. The drain pump willrun to remove anydirty water from the dishwasher beforestarting the newly selectedcycle. Check tomake sure there isstill detergent in the detergent dispenser.
Opening the door after Cycle has started
I
f thedoor is opened afterthe cycle has started, the ”START”button will flash to indicatethat the dishwasher isin Standby Mode. Pressthe “START” button andclose the door securelywithin four seconds torestart the cycle.
Load allitems so that theforce of the waterand t
he detergentreach soiled surfaces.
DO NOT let china, crystal,and other delicate items touch eachother during dishwasher operation.

Extra Quiet Operation Hints

• Keepsink drain plugs inserted duringdishwasher
operation toprevent noise transfer throughdrains.
Load dishesso they DO NOT touch each other.

• Makesure pot lids andhandles, pizza pans, cookie
sheets, etc.,DO NOT touch interior walls.
The Silverware/Cutlery Basket
Tips forbest cleaning results:
• Distributeitems evenly and mix knives,forks, and
spoons sothat items will avoidnesting.
ALWAYSplace forks andspoons with eating
portions upand handles down.
IMPORTANT: Sharp orpointed items, such as
knives, shouldalways be put inwith the point down toprotect your hands.
Adjusting Racks
The Lower Rack
The lowerrack is best fordinner plates, smaller plates, servingplates, larger bowls, pots,and pans.
• Securelyplace heavily soiled cookwareface down in the rack.
• Usethe fold-down tines toprovide space for large items suchas pots andpans.
• Makesure pot handles andother items DONOT stop rotationof lower washarm by hangingbelow the rack.
The Upper Rack
The upperrack is best forglasses, cups, bowls, small plates, andsaucers and can accomodatefull sized plates upto 10-1/4”.
• Makesure items hanging belowthe rack DO NOT block therotation of the washarm.
