POTS/PANS

NORMAL WASH
Normally soiledplates, glasses, bowls, and lightly soiledpots and pans. Energyusage label isbased on this cycle.
LIGHT/CHINA
Lightly soileditems, china and crystal.Lower temperatures andpressure levels for cleaning delicate items.
FAST WASH
Toremove light films andresidue on dishes and glassware.Short wash times andvarying pressures.
RINSE/HOLD
All dishware.Short rinse with noheat.
Wash Options
TOP WASH
Washes disheson top rack only.Available on Normal Cycle.
HI TEMP WASH
Increases thetemperature, adding heat, time and waterfor improved cleaning performance. Available onlywith POTS/PANS andNORMAL WASH.
Note: Periodsof soaking willoccur toaid in removal ofbaked onfood soils.
SANITIZED 155°F RINSE
Raises watertemperature to 155°F inthe final rinse. Addsheat and time tothe cycle. This high temperaturerinse sanitizes your dishes and glasswarein accordance with NSF/ANSI STANDARD184 for Residential Dishwashers.
Certified forresidential dishwashers and not intended forlicensed food establishments. Available onlywith POTS/PANS andNORMAL WASH.
DELAY START
Lets you delay running the dishwasher. To set “Delay Start”,select the desiredwash cycle and option(s). Press the“Delay Start” key once and the number “2”will light, indicating a twohour delay. If you desire a longer delay, continue pressing the “Delay Start” key to the desired delay time. The corresponding number on the key will light. Once you have set the desired delay time,press the “START”button and close the door.“Delay Start” is not availablewith the Rinse/Hold cycle.
AUDIBLE SOUND SIGNAL
A singlebeep will occur whenyou select cycles, optionsand press the “START”key. If the “START”button is not pressedor if the door isnot closed within 4seconds of pressing the “START”button, 3 short beepswill occur. The end-of-cyclesignal consists of 2long beeps andactivates 30 minutes afterthe last drain, whenthe condensate dry portionof the cycle iscompleted. For all othererror messages andto deselect the audiblesound signal, seethe Troubleshooting/Fault Codes section inthe Use and CareGuide.
ILLUMINATION OFBUTTONS
Option, Cycleand Start buttons willonly illuminate afterthey are selected. The "SANITIZED" indicatorwill illuminate when the cycle hasbeen completed. If yourdishwasher did notproperly sanitize your dishes,the indicator lightwill not illuminate. Thiscan happen ifthe cycle is interruptedor the water could notbe heated to therequired temperatures. The"SANITIZED" indicator light goes offafter you have openedand closed the door orif you press andhold the START/RESUMEbutton.

Changing a program after the unit has started
T
he dishwasheris programmed to stopoperating if the dooris opened during acycle. To changea program oroption after starting themachine, open the doorslightly to let thespray arms stop rotating and avoidgetting sprayed with water.Press and hold “
START”for four seconds to cancelthe current s
election. Thenpress the touchpad(s) foryour d
esired selection.
Press “START”again and closethe door. The drain pump willrun to remove anydirty water from the dishwasher beforestarting the newly selectedcycle. Check tomake sure there isstill detergent in the detergent dispenser.
Opening the door after Cycle has started
I
f thedoor is opened forlonger than five seconds, after thecycle has started, the”START” button will flash toindicate that the dishwasheris in Standby Mode. Pressthe “START” buttonbefore closing the door andthe cycle will resume.

the dishwasherkickplate when a cycleis running.
Load allitems so that theforce of the waterand t

Extra Quiet Operation Hints

o givesuperior cleaning results andto operate very quietly.To avoid anyextra clattering or thumping noises duringoperation:
• Keepsink drain plugs insertedduring dishwasher
operation toprevent noise transfer throughdrains.
Load dishesso they do nottouch each other.
Make surelightweight items are securedin t
he rack.
• Makesure pot lids andhandles, pizza pans, cookie
sheets, etc.,DO NOTtouch interior walls.
The Silverware/Cutlery Basket
Tips forBest Cleaning Results:
• Distributeitems evenly and mixknives, forks, and
spoons sothat items will avoidnesting.
ALWAYS placeforks and spoons witheating
portions upand handles down.
• Eachcompartment has a lidwhich will separate the
silverware forthe best cleaning anddrying results. The lidsalso hold small, lightweightitems in place.
IMPORTANT: Sharpor pointed items, suchas
knives, shouldalways be put inwith the point down toprotect your hands.
• Basketcan be moved toupper rack or lowerrack.
Adjusting Racks
The Lower Rack
The lowerrack is bestfor dinner plates,smaller plates, serving plates,larger bowls,pots, and pans.
• Securelyplace heavily soiledcookware facedown in the rack.
• Usethe fold-down tinesto provide spacefor large items suchas pots andpans.
• Makesure pot handles and other items DO NOTstop rotationof lower wash armby hanging below the rack.
The Upper Rack
The upperrack is bestfor glasses, cups,bowls, small plates, andsaucers andcan accommodatefull-sized plates upto 10-1/4”.
• Makesure small plasticitems are heldfirmly in place withHold Tight™ dividers.
• Arrange stemware between prongs of stemware cradle sothat the stemware cannot move easily.
• Makesure items hanging below the rackDO NOTblock therotation of the washarm.
