1. Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lesen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung des Produktes
bzw. dessen Einbau diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam
durch. Bewahren Sie diese auf, sie ist Teil des Produktes.
1.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Vorsicht:
Verletzungsgefahr!
Aufgrund der detaillierten Abbildung des Originals bzw.
der vorgesehenen Verwendung kann das Produkt Spitzen, Kanten und abbruchgefährdete Teile aufweisen.
Für die Montage sind Werkzeuge nötig.
Stromschlaggefahr!
Die Anschlussdrähte niemals in eine Steckdose einführen! Verwendetes Versorgungsgerät (Transformator, Netzteil) regelmäßig auf Schäden überprüfen. Bei
Schäden am Versorgungsgerät dieses keinesfalls benutzen!
Alle Anschluss- und Montagearbeiten nur bei abgeschalteter Betriebsspannung durchführen!
Ausschließlich nach VDE/EN-gefertigte Modellbahntransformatoren verwenden!
Stromquellen unbedingt so absichern, dass es bei
einem Kurzschluss nicht zum Kabelbrand kommen
kann.
1.2 Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnanlagen und
Dioramen.
- Zum Anschluss an einen Modellbahntransformator
(z. B. Art.-Nr. 5200) bzw. an einer Modellbahnsteuerung mit zugelassener Betriebsspannung.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden
haftet der Hersteller nicht.
1.3 Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Verpackungsinhalt auf Vollständigkeit
(siehe auch Abb. 1):

use of this product.
1.3 Checking the package contents
Check the contents of the package for completeness
(see also g. 1):
Caution:
Risk of injury!
Due to the detailed reproduction of the original and the
intended use, this product can have peaks, edges and
breakable parts. For installation tools are required.
Electrical hazard!
Never put the connecting wires into a power socket!
Regularly examine the transformer for damage.
In case of any damage, do not use the transformer.
Make sure that the power supply is switched o when
you mount the device and connect the cables!
Only use VDE/EN tested special model train transformers for the power supply!
The power sources must be protected to prevent the
risk of burning cables.

2. Einleitung

Dieses Bausatz-Signal zeichnet sich durch vorbildgerechte Signalbilder, ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sowie durch einfache Montage und vielfältige
Anschlussmöglichkeiten aus. Es ist ein detailgetreues
Modell der weit verbreiteten Vorbild-Bauart 1969.
Das Bausatz-Signal ist originalgetreu lackiert und mit
Metallmasten ausgestattet. Die Signalschirme sind mit
wartungsfreien, energiesparenden und langlebigen LEDs
bestückt.
Der Viessmann Patentsteckfuß sorgt für einfache und
schnelle Montage von oben.
Zur Montage benötigen Sie Werkzeuge. Wir empfehlen:
- Feinlötkolben, möglichst dünne Spitze
- Lötzinn, möglichst 0,5 mm Durchmesser
- Sekundenkleber (z. B. Loctite 401)
- Kleiner Seitenschneider, kleiner Cutter, spitze
Flachzange und Pinzette

2. Introduction
This signal kit provides prototypical signal pictures,
a good value for money, easy mounting and various
connection possibilties. True to detail model according to
prototype design of year 1969.
The signal kit is prototypical varnished and with
metal masts equipped. The signal backgrounds are
maintenance-free, power-saving and long-lasting by LED
lighting.
The Viessmann patented base socket provides exible
and quick exchange from the top.
We recommend the following tools:
- Fine soldering irons, very thin peaks
- Tin-solder, best 0,5 mm diameter
- Second glue ( e. g. Loctite 401)
- Small side tailor, small cutter, sharpens level tongs
and tweezers

3. Zusammenbau
- Schneiden Sie das beiliegende Kabel in 30 cm lange Stücke, isolieren diese beidseitig ca. 3 mm ab und
verzinnen sie:
210944 (3 Stück), 210968 (4 Stück).
- Löten Sie an ein Ende eines Kabels die Diode gemäß Abb. 3 an (der Markierungsring der Diode muss
zum Kabel zeigen). Schieben Sie den schwarzen
Schrumpfschlauch auf die zuvor hergestellte Kontaktstelle (Kabel + Diode). Kurz (!) erhitzen, etwa mit einer
Heißluftpistole. Schon ist die dauerhafte Verbindung
fertig! Vorsicht Verbrennungsgefahr!

3. Assembly
- Cut the attached cable in 30-cm-long pieces, isolate
on both sides ca. 3 mm and tin-plate:
210944 (3 pieces), 210968 (4 pieces).
- Solder to an end of a cable the diode according to Fig.
3 in (the marking ring of the diode has to show to the
cable point). Push the black heat shrinke tube on the
contact place (cable + diode). Shortly (!) heat up, possibly with a hot-air gun. Done a lasting connection is
ready! Take care combustion danger!

- Löten Sie an einem Ende der restlichen Kabel einen
Widerstand gemäß Abb. 4 an. Schieben Sie je einen
farbigen Schrumpfschlauch auf die zuvor hergestellte
Kontaktstelle (Kabel + Widerstand). Kurz (!) erhitzen,
etwa mit einer Heißluftpistole. Schon ist die dauerhafte Verbindung fertig! Vorsicht Verbrennungsgefahr!
- Führen Sie die Kabel mit den freien Enden nacheinander von unten durch den Patentsteckfuß in den Mast
ein und fädeln diese bis oben hindurch.
Beachten Sie bitte dabei, dass bei Art.-Nr. 210968 die
4 Kabel für das Vorsignal (2 mit gelber und 2 mit grüner Markierung) am 3. Mastdurchbruch von oben herausgeführt werden müssen.
- Kürzen Sie den kürzeren Anschlussdraht der LEDs
auf ca. 2 mm.
- Löten Sie die Kabel mit angelötetem Widerstand mit
dem freien Ende an den gekürzten Anschlussdraht
der LED. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass die LED-Farbe mit der Schrumpfschlauchfarbe des angelöteten
Kabels übereinstimmt. Löten Sie sehr sorgfältig und
kurz.
- Drücken Sie die LEDs von hinten in den bzw. die Signalschirme. Achten Sie auf die Lage der abgerundeten Seite der LEDs!
- Biegen Sie die langen Anschlussdrähte der LEDs
so um, dass diese die kurzen Anschlussdrähte keinesfalls berühren. Löten Sie die umgebogenen Anschlussdrähte zusammen. Für den Vorsignalschirm
liegt für die Verbindung ein Leiterbahnstück bei. Es
wird auf die langen LED-Anschlüsse aufgeschoben
und mit ihnen verlötet. Bitte nur kurz löten! Überstehende LED-Anschlüsse bündig abschneiden.
- Löten Sie das übrig gebliebene Kabel mit der Diode,
mit dem freien Ende an die gekoppelten LED-Anschlussdrähte. Bei Art.-Nr. 210968 ist zusätzlich mit
einem kurzen Stück Kabel eine Verbindung zwischen
den gekoppelten LED-Anschlussdrähten von Vor- und
Hauptsignalschirm herzustellen.
- Bei Belieben die hintere Seite der LEDs und die Verdrahtung derselben mit schwarzer Farbe anstreichen.
- Setzen Sie den Hauptsignalschirm und/oder Vorsignalschirm mit seiner Führung in die oben am Mast
bendlichen Löcher ein und kleben ihn mit einem
Tropfen Sekundenkleber am Mast fest.
- Hängen Sie das Mastschild sowie die Nummerntafel
in ihre zugehörigen Önungen am Mast ein und xieren sie mit einem Tropfen Kleber.
- Stecken Sie den Signalkorb und/oder den Vorsignalkorb mit seiner Führung auf den Mast auf und sichern
ihn evtl. mit etwas Kleber. Der Vorsignalkorb muss zuvor zusammengefaltet werden.
- Kleben Sie den Schaltkasten in Höhe der beiden Önungen auf der Rückseite des unteren Mastendes an.
Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass sich die Nachbildungen
der beiden Scharniere an der Vorderseite des Schalt-
kastens unten benden.
- Solder at the end of the remaining cables one resistor
according to g. 4 in. Push one coloured heat shrinke
tube on the contact place which is the before created
contact place (cable + resistor). Shortly (!) heat up,
possibly with a hot-air gun. Done the lasting connection is ready! Take care combustion danger!
- Push the cables with the free ends one after another
through the patented base socket in the mast and
thread them from above.
Please take care that by item-No. 210968 the 4 cables for the distant signal (2 with yellow and 2 with
green marking) have to be pushed from above by the
3. mast cut-out.
- Shorten the connection wire of the LEDs to ca. 2 mm.
- Solder the cables with soldered resistor with the free
end on the shortened connecting wire of the LED.
Please make sure that the LED-colour with the heatshrink tube colour of the soldered-on tube of the cable
t. Solder very carefully and short.
- Push the LEDs from behind into the signal backgrounds. Take care for the rounded edges of LEDs.
- Bend the connecting wires of the LEDs so that the do
not touch the short connecting wires. Solder the bent
connection wires together. For the distant signal background a trace piece is included. It is pushed onto the
long LED-connections and soldered to them. Please
solder only short! Cut o the LED connection ush.
- Solder the remaining cable to the diode, with the free
end connect to the coupled LED connection wires. For
item No. 210968 is an additional short piece of cable
as connection between the coupled LED-connection
wire of distant- and main signal background required.
- Of course the rear side of the LEDs and the wiring
could be black coloured.
- Set the main signal background and/or distant signal
background with the guide from the top of the mast
holes and glue the with some dropf of superglue.
- Hang the mast board and even the number board into
the respective openings of the mast and x with some
drop of glue.
- Insert the signal basket and/or the distant signal basket with its guide onto the mast and secure it with
some drops of glue. The distant signal must rst be
placed and folded togehter.
- Glue the control box at the height of the two openings on the back of the lower mast end. Take care that
the replican of the two hinges are on the front of the
switch box underneath.
- By sticking the number from the inscription curve on
the mast`s number board you could mark the signal
individually.

4. Einbau
- Vor dem Einbau auf Funktion prüfen.
- Am Einbauort ein Loch (Ø 5,5 mm) zur Montage bohren (Abb. 5).
- Führen Sie das Anschlusskabel von oben durch das
Montageloch und stecken Sie dann das Signal mit
dem Patentsteckfuß hinein. Falls der Steckfuß nicht
genügend Halt ndet, schieben Sie den Haltering von
unten auf den Steckfuß. (Abb. 6).
Vorsicht:
Signal niemals am Mast anfassen, sondern nur an dem
Patentsteckfuß (Abb. 7).
Lassen Sie beim Anschließen der Kabel unter dem Signal
eine Schleife von ca. 2 – 3 cm Länge, damit Sie das Signal bei eventuellen Arbeiten aus der Montagebohrung
ziehen können.
Vorsicht:
Widerstand und Diode an den Enden der Anschlussdrähte sind für die Funktion erforderlich. Keinesfalls entfernen! Widerstände nicht mit Isolationsmaterial umhüllen, da sonst keine ausreichende Kühlung möglich ist!

4. Mounting
- Check function before mounting.
- Drill a hole (Ø 5,5 mm) at the mounting place (g. 5).
- First insert the connection cable from above through
the mounting hole. Then put the signal with the pat-
ented base socket inside. In case the base does not t
rmly in the hole, slide the holding ring onto the base
from below. (g. 6).
Caution:
Never touch the mast but only the patented base socket
(g. 7).
When connecting the cables, please leave a loop of approx. 2 – 3 cm behind the lamp, which enables you to pull
the lamp out of the assembly drilling.
Caution:
Resistor and diode at the cables are needed for proper
function. Never cut them o! Never cover resistor or diode with insulation material, because they have to be
cooled by surrounding air!
5. Anschluss
Sie können dieses Signal exibel anschließen:
- Direkt per Schalter an einen Modellbahntrafo.
- An ein Viessmann Steuermodul.
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung eines Steuermoduls (z.
B. Art.-Nr. 5220 – 5222 und 5224). Dann verfügt Ihr Signal über weichen Lichtwechsel, Zugbeeinussung, Vorsignalsteuerung und einige Funktionen mehr (Abb. 8).

- Via switch directly to a transformer.
- To a Viessmann control module.
We recommend to use a control module (e. g. item-No.
5220 – 5222 and 5224), which oers more features and
exibility smooth change of the lights, train control, distant-signal control (g. 8).

6. Gewährleistung
Jeder Artikel wurde vor Auslieferung auf volle Funktionalität geprüft. Der Gewährleistungszeitraum beträgt 2
Jahre ab Kaufdatum. Tritt in dieser Zeit ein Fehler auf
und Sie nden die Fehlerursache nicht, nehmen Sie bitte
Kontakt mit uns auf (service@viessmann-modell.com).
Senden Sie uns den Artikel zur Kontrolle bzw. Reparatur
bitte erst nach Rücksprache zu. Wird nach Überprüfung
des Artikels ein Herstell- oder Materialfehler festgestellt,
wird er kostenlos instand gesetzt oder ausgetauscht.
Von der Gewährleistung und Haftung ausgeschlossen
sind Beschädigungen des Artikels sowie Folgeschäden,
die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Nichtbeachten
der Bedienungsanleitung, nicht bestimmungsgemäßen
Gebrauch, eigenmächtigen Eingri, bauliche Veränderungen, Gewalteinwirkung, Überhitzung u. ä. verursacht

6. Warranty
Each model is tested to its full functionality prior to delivery. The warranty period is 2 years starting by the date of
purchase. Should a fault occur during this period please
contact our service department (service@viessmannmodell.com). Please send the item to the Viessmann
service department for check and repair only after con-
sultation. If we nd a material or production fault to be
the cause of the failure the item will be repaired free of
charge or replaced. Expressively excluded from any warranty claims and liability are damages of the item and
consequential damages due to inappropriate handling,
disregarding the instructions of this manual, inappropriate use of the model, unauthorized disassembling, con-
struction modications and use of force, overheating and
similar.
