- zum Betrieb an einem zugelassenen Modellbahntransformator bzw. an einer damit
versorgten SELECTRIX -kompatiblen
digitalen Modellbahnsteuerung
- zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für hieraus
resultierende Schäden haftet der Hersteller

Using the product for its correct
Purpose
This power amplifier is intended
- for installation in model railway layouts
- for operation with an authorized model railroad transformer or a SELECTRIX compatible digital model railroad control system
connected to one
- for operation in a dry area
Using the product for any other purpose is
not approved and is considered incorrect.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the improper use of this product; liability in such a
case rests with the user.

Modellbahntransformatoren!
2. Einleitung
Das Power Pack stellt zusätzliche Fahrenergie für die Modellbahnanlage bereit. Die Daten hierfür übernimmt das Power Pack aus
der Zentraleinheit über eine spezielle Datenleitung, den Power-Bus (Px-Bus).
Die an die Gleise abgegebene Leistung erlaubt je Power Pack (abhängig von der Trafoleistung und der Stromaufnahme der einzelnen Fahrzeuge) das gleichzeitige Fahren
von bis zu 4 H0- bzw. 6 N-Loks. Die digitalen
Daten am Gleis sind identisch mit den Daten
der Zentraleinheit.
Die Programmier-Daten für Loks werden
nicht über das Power Pack an die Gleise
weitergegeben. Die Programmierfunktionen
stehen nur über die an die Zentraleinheit angeschlossenen Gleise zur Verfügung.

tested special model train

the power supply!
2. Introduction
The Power Pack provides additional power
for running trains on your layout. All digital information is transferred from the Central Unit
via a special data cable, the Power-Bus (PxBus).
Subject to the power rating of the transformer and the current draw of the locomotives
the Power Pack enables you to run up to 4
H0 or 6 N-gauge locomotives. All digital data
at the track are equal to the data provided by
the Central Unit.
Programming data will not be transferred to
the track via the Power Pack. Programming
can only take place on tracks directly connected to the Central Unit.
Up to 20 Power Packs may be connected to

Zum Einsatz des Power Packs wird die Anlage in elektrische Versorgungsbereiche
(Stromkreise) aufgeteilt: Ein Bereich für die
Zentraleinheit und jeweils ein Bereich für jedes Power Pack. Die einzelnen Bereiche
müssen gegenseitig durch beidseitige Gleistrennungen isoliert werden.

As soon as power is available readiness for
operation will be indicated. The indicator for
track power will be lit once the track voltage
has been turned on (ON at the central unit)

sobald die Versorgungsspannung anliegt.
Die Anzeige für Fahrstrom leuchtet zusätzlich, wenn die Gleisspannung eingeschaltet
ist (ON an der Zentraleinheit) und kein Kurzschluss an den angeschlossenen Gleisen ist.
3. Mounting of the Power Pack
The Power Pack should be installed at a location that is dry and easily accessible. It can
be fixed with 2 screws (3 mm diameter max;
refer to Fig. 1).

3. Montage des Power Packs
Das Power Pack sollte an einer leicht zugänglichen und trockenen Stelle angebracht
werden. Das Gerät wird mit 2 Schrauben von
max. 3 mm Durchmesser an den dafür vorgesehenen Bohrungen festgeschraubt (siehe
Abbildung 1).
4. Anschluss
Anschluss an das Gleis
Die Zuleitungen zum Gleis werden an die
Schraubklemmen des Gleisanschlusses am

4. Connecting
Connecting Tracks
The cables connecting the track to the Power
Pack are to be wired to the screw terminals
of the Power Pack. The left terminal corresponds with the blue and the right one with
the red terminal of the central unit (e. g. Central Control by Trix).
Sufficient power for running up to 4 (H0)
resp. 6 (N-gauge) locomotives simultaneously is provided. Of course, other locomotives
