Dieser Funktionsdecoder ist bestimmt
- zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnfahrzeugen
oder Modellbahnanlagen
- zum Betrieb an einem zugelassenen Modellbahntransformator bzw. an einer damit
versorgten SELECTRIX -kompatiblen digitalen Modellbahnsteuerung
- zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für hieraus
resultierende Schäden haftet der Hersteller
nicht; das Risiko hierfür trägt allein der Benutzer.

Using the product for its correct
Purpose
This function decoder is intended
for installation in model train vehicles or
model train layouts
- for operation with an authorized model railroad transformer or a SELECTRIX compatible digital model railroad control system
connected to one
- for operation in a dry area
Using the product for any other purpose is
not approved and is considered incorrect.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the improper use of this product; liability in such a
case rests with the user.

ten sind nur bei abgeschalteter
Betriebsspannung durchzuführen!
Die Stromquellen müssen so abgesichert sein, dass es im Falle eines
Kurzschlusses nicht zum Kabel-
brand kommen kann. Verwenden
Sie nur nach VDE/EN gefertigte
Modellbahntransformatoren!
Ein Betrieb des Decoders auf
analogen Wechselstromanlagen ist
nicht zulässig! Die hohe Spannung
des Umschaltimpulses führt zur
Zerstörung des Decoders.
2. Einleitung
Der DHF 201 ist ein sehr kleiner Funktionsdecoder zum Schalten von bis zu zwei Sonderfunktionen in Lokomotiven, Steuerwagen
usw. .
Der DHF 201 kann im Lokmodus zum Steuern des Lichtwechsels der Stirnbeleuchtung
von Steuerwagen eingesetzt werden. Wird
der DHF 201 auf die gleiche Adresse wie die
Adresse der am Zug befindlichen Lok eingestellt, so wechselt die Stirnbeleuchtung des
Steuerwagens mit der Fahrtrichtung der Lok.
2. Introduction
The DHF 201 is a very small function decoder for switching up to two auxiliary functions
in locomotives, cab control cars, etc. .
In locomotive mode the DHF 201 can be
used to control directional headlights in cab
control cars. If the DHF 201 is programmed
to the same address as the address of the
train´s locomotive, the headlights of the cab
control car change with the locomotive´s di-
rection.
Attention!
Make sure that the power supply is
switched off when you mount the
device and connect the wires!
The power sources must be
protected to prevent the risk of
burning wires. Only use VDE/EN
tested special model train
transformers for the power supply!
This decoder is not suitable for
operation with conventional AC
supply! The high voltage of the
pulse for change of direction will
cause the destruction of the
decoder.

Durch die hohe Leistung des DHF 201 kann
problemlos bei durchgehenden Verdrahtung
der Wagen (z. B. mit den stromführenden
Kupplungen Viessmann 5048, H0) auch eine
ganze Zugbeleuchtung geschaltet werden.
Im Funktionsmodus können bis zu zwei Sonderfunktionen mit den Tastenpaaren 1-2, 3-4,
5-6 oder 7-8 angesteuert werden. Über eine
SELECTRIX -Systemadresse können vier
DHF 201 adressiert werden.
Vom DHF 201 können über das Gleissignal
auch stationäre Funktionen wie Weichen,
Signale, Entkupplungsgleise, Beleuchtungsund Geräuscheffekte oder Funktionsmodelle
wie Krane usw. angesteuert werden.
Der DHF 201 kann außer Dauerstrom auch
Impulsstrom abgeben. Hiermit lassen sich
auch Weichen per Gleissignal schalten. Diese Option eignet sich beispielsweise zum
kostengünstigen Anschluss einzelner Weichen an einem weit von einem Funktionsdecoder entfernten Ort der Anlage.

Due to the high power rating of the DHF 201
it is possible to switch the interior lighting of
an entire train (e.g. with the Viessmann electric couplers 5048, H0).
In function mode you can control up to two
auxiliary functions with the appropriate pairs
of keys 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 or 7-8. Via one SELEC-
®
TRIX system address you can control up to
four DHF 201.
Via the track signal the DHF 201 can operate
accessories like points, signals, un-couplers,
lighting- and sound effects or function models such as cranes etc. .
The DHF 201 can provide continuous power
as well as pulses. Therefore points can also
be switched via the track signal. This option
is particularly suitable for the connection of
individual points at a remote location on the
layout, far away from the nearest function
decoder.

3. Vorbereitung und Einbau
des Decoders
Befindet sich das Fahrzeug mechanisch und
elektrisch in einwandfreiem Zustand (z. B.
Verkabelung, Schleifer, usw.)? Bei auftretenden Mängeln sollte Sie das Fahrzeug vor
dem Einbau des Decoders unbedingt instandsetzen.
Der DHF 201 wird mit hochflexiblen farbigen
Litzen in 17 cm Länge ausgeliefert.
Der Decoder ist nach der Abbildung 2 anzuschließen. Gehen Sie dabei folgendermaßen
vor:

3. Preparation and
Installing the Decoder
Is the model mechanically and electrically in
perfect condition (e.g. wiring, current pick-up
etc.)? If not the locomotive must be repaired
before installing the decoder.
The DHF 201 is supplied with highly flexible
colour coded stranded wires with a lengths of
17 cm.
Install the decoder according to figure 2 and
proceed as follows:
1)Connect G1 („track connection 1“, red)
with the wheel pick-up on one side.
