Connect the telephone-box to the lighting power output of a mo-
del railroad transformer (e. g. item-No. 5200) as shown in g. 2.
DC voltage: Connect the diode (red part with black mark)
with the plus pole of the power supply.
AC voltage: Operation with AC voltage could cause some
ickering. We recommend to use the Viessmann power module item-No. 5215 (g. 2) which is sucient for ca. 100 LEDs or
the power module with distribution strip item-No. 5205 which is
sucient for ca. 40 LEDs. Connect the cable to the diode with
the brown output socket.
5. Warranty
Each model is tested to its full functionality prior to delivery.
The warranty period is 2 years starting from the date of purchase. Should a fault occur during this period please contact
our service department (service@viessmann-modell.com). If
necessary send the item to the Viessmann service department
for checking and repair. If we nd a material or production fault
to be the cause of the failure the item will be repaired free of
charge or replaced.
Expressively excluded from any warranty claims and liability
are damages of the item and consequential damages due to
inappropriate handling, disregarding the instructions of this
manual, inappropriate use of the model, unauthorized disassembling, construction modications and use of force, overheating and similar.

1. Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lesen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung des Produktes bzw.
dessen Einbau diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch.
Bewahren Sie diese auf, sie ist Teil des Produktes.
1.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Vorsicht:
Verletzungsgefahr!
Aufgrund der detaillierten Abbildung des Originals bzw.
der vorgesehenen Verwendung kann das Produkt Spitzen,
Kanten und abbruchgefährdete Teile aufweisen. Für die
Montage sind Werkzeuge nötig.
Stromschlaggefahr!
Die Anschlussdrähte niemals in eine Steckdose einführen!
Verwendetes Versorgungsgerät (Transformator, Netzteil)
regelmäßig auf Schäden überprüfen. Bei Schäden am Versorgungsgerät dieses keinesfalls benutzen!
Alle Anschluss- und Montagearbeiten nur bei abgeschalteter Betriebsspannung durchführen!
Ausschließlich nach VDE/EN-gefertigte Modellbahntransformatoren verwenden!
Stromquellen unbedingt so absichern, dass es bei einem
Kurzschluss nicht zum Kabelbrand kommen kann.
1.2 Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnanlagen und Dioramen.
- Zum Anschluss an einen Modellbahntransformator
(z. B. Art.-Nr. 5200) bzw. an einer Modellbahnsteuerung
mit zugelassener Betriebsspannung.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden haftet der
Hersteller nicht.
1.3 Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit:
- Telefonzelle mit Anschlusskabeln inkl. Widerstand und Diode
- Klebepad
- Vormontierter Patentsteckfuß (nur bei Art.-Nr. 5073)
- Haltering (nur bei Art.-Nr. 5073)

2. Einleitung
Dieser Artikel erzeugt durch die SMD-LED ein zum Modell
passendes Licht. Stromaufnahme und Wärmeentwicklung
sind sehr gering. Die Lebensdauer der LED ist praktisch unbegrenzt, so dass ein Wechsel des Leuchtmittels entfällt.

3. Einbau
- Nehmen Sie die Telefonzelle vorsichtig aus der Verpackung.
- Vor dem Einbau die LED-Beleuchtung auf Funktion prüfen.
3.1 Einbau Art.-Nr. 5072
- Bohren Sie am Einbauort ein Loch von 2 mm Durchmesser
zur Durchführung der Kabel.
- Entfernen Sie vorsichtig die Klebereste des zur Befestigung in der Verpackung verwendeten Klebepads.
- Nehmen Sie das neue Klebepad aus der Verpackung und
entfernen Sie auf einer Seite die Schutzfolie.
- Kleben Sie das Pad unter die Telefonzelle.
- Führen Sie die Anschlusskabel durch das zuvor gebohrte
Loch unter die Anlage.
- Ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie von der zweiten Seite des
Klebepads ab.
- Telefonzelle an gewünschter Stelle aufsetzen und leicht
andrücken.
3.2 Einbau Art.-Nr. 5073
- Bohren Sie am Einbauort ein Loch von 2 mm Durchmesser
zur Durchführung der Kabel.
3.2.1 Einbau mit Patentsteckfuß
- Bohren Sie in die Wand, an welcher die Telefonzelle
montiert werden soll, im Abstand von 18 mm zum Boden
ein Loch mit einem Durchmesser von 3,5 mm.
- Drücken Sie den Patentsteckfuß vorsichtig in das gebohrte
Loch bis er einrastet. Falls der Steckfuß nicht genügend Halt
ndet, schieben Sie den Haltering von unten auf den
Steckfuß.
3.2.2 Einbau mit Klebepad
- Ziehen Sie vorsichtig den Patentsteckfuß von dem Modell ab.
- Nehmen Sie das neue Klebepad aus der Verpackung und entfernen Sie auf einer Seite die Schutzfolie.
- Kleben Sie das Pad auf die Rückseite der Telefonzelle.
- Führen Sie die Anschlusskabel durch das zuvor gebohrte
Loch unter die Anlage.
- Ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie von der zweiten Seite des Klebepads ab.
- Telefonzelle an gewünschter Stelle aufsetzen und leicht
andrücken.
4. Anschluss
Vorsicht:
Widerstand und Diode an den Enden der Anschlussdrähte
sind für die Funktion erforderlich (Abb. 1). Keinesfalls
entfernen! Widerstände nicht mit Isolationsmaterial umhüllen, da sonst keine ausreichende Kühlung möglich ist!
Schließen Sie die Telefonzelle an den Lichtausgang eines
Modellbahntransformators (z. B. Art.-Nr. 5200) an (Abb. 2).
Gleichspannung: Verbinden Sie die Diode (rotes Bauteil mit
schwarzer Markierung) mit dem Plus-Pol des Netzteils.
Wechselspannung: Bei Betrieb mit Wechselspannung kann
es zu leichtem Flackern kommen. Daher empfehlen wir den
Betrieb mit dem Viessmann-Powermodul Art.-Nr. 5215 (Abb.
2) oder der Verteilerleiste mit Powermodul Art.-Nr. 5205. Ein
Powermodul Art.-Nr. 5215 ist ausreichend für ca. 100 LEDs,
die Verteilerleiste mit Powermodul Art.-Nr. 5205 für 40 LEDs.
Verbinden Sie das Anschlusskabel mit der Diode mit der
braunen Ausgangsbuchse.
5. Garantiebestimmungen
Der Gewährleistungszeitraum beträgt 2 Jahre ab Kaufdatum.
Tritt in dieser Zeit ein Fehler auf und Sie nden die Fehlerursache nicht, nehmen Sie bitte Kontakt mit uns auf (service@
viessmann-modell.com). Senden Sie uns den Artikel zur Kontrolle bzw. Reparatur bitte erst nach Rücksprache zu. Wird
nach Überprüfung des Artikels ein Herstell- oder Materialfehler festgestellt, wird er kostenlos instand gesetzt oder ausgetauscht.
Von der Gewährleistung und Haftung ausgeschlossen sind
Beschädigungen des Artikels sowie Folgeschäden, die durch
unsachgemäße Behandlung, Nichtbeachten der Bedienungsanleitung, nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch, eigenmäch-
tigen Eingri, bauliche Veränderungen, Gewalteinwirkung,
Überhitzung u. ä. verursacht werden.

1.1 Safety instructions
Caution:
Risk of injury!
Due to the detailed reproduction of the original and the
intended use, this product can have peaks, edges and
breakable parts. For installation tools are required.
Electrical hazard!
Never put the connecting cables into a power socket!
Regularly examine the transformer for damage. In case
of any damage, do not use the transformer!
Make sure that the power supply is switched o when you
mount the device and connect the cables!
Only use VDE/EN tested special model train transformers
for the power supply!
The power sources must be protected to prevent the risk
of burning cables.
1.2 Using the product for its correct purpose
This product is intended:
- For installation in model railroad layouts and dioramas.
- For connection to an authorized model
railroad transformer (e. g. item-No. 5200).
- For operation in dry rooms only.
Using the product for any other purpose is not approved and is
considered incorrect. The manufacturer is not responsible for
any damage resulting from the improper use of this product.
1.3 Checking the package contents
Check the contents of the package for completeness:
- Telephone-box with connection cables, diode and resistor
- Adhesive pad
- Pre-assembled patented base socket (only with item-No. 5073)
- Retaining ring (only with item-No. 5073)
- Manual
2. Introduction
This item produces by SMD-LED the light which is suitable
to the model. Low heat build-up and power input. Nearly
unlimited lifetime of the LED, so no more change is required.
3. Mounting
- Remove the telephone-box carefully from the package.
- Check the function of the LED lighting before mounting.
3.1 Mounting item-No. 5072
- Drill a hole of 2 mm diameter at the mounting place for
carrying out the cables.
- Carefully remove the adhesive residue of the adhesive
pads used for xing in the packaging.
- Take the new adhesive pad out of the packaging and
remove the protective lm on one side.
- Fix the adhesive pad under the telephone-box.
- Slide the connection cables through the previously
drilled hole.
- Remove the protection lm on the second side of the
adhesive pad.
- Put the telephone-box at the desired place and press gently.
3.2 Mounting item-No. 5073
- Drill a hole of 2 mm diameter at the mounting place for
carrying out the cables.
3.2.1 Mounting with patented base socket
- Drill a hole of 3,5 mm diameter into the wall where the
telephone-box should be xed. Distance to the oor
should be 18 mm.
- Press the patented base socket gently into the drilled hole
until it clicks. In case the base does not sit rmly in the hole,
slide the retaining ring onto the base from below.
3.2.2 Mounting with adhesive pad
- Carefully remove the patented base socket from the model.
- Take the new adhesive pad out of the packaging and
remove the protective lm on one side.
- Fix the adhesive pad at the back of the telephone-box.
- Slide the connection cables through the previously drilled
hole.
- Remove the protection lm on the second side of the adhesive
pad.
- Put the telephone-box at the desired place and press gently.
4. Connection
Caution:
Resistor and diode at the cables are required for proper
function of the lamp (g. 1). Never cut them o!
Never cover resistor or diode with insulation material,
because they have to be cooled by surrounding air!
