2.2 Product description

Advantix mounting frames are suitable for use in Advantix shower chan­nels base unit model 4982.10 and 4982.20.
Advantix mounting frames are suitable for all Advantix shower channel grates with a layer height of 12-15 mm (tile and adhesive).
Only wastewater commonly encountered in households may be intro­duced, see
Observe the instructions for use of the base unit when mounting.

3 Handling

3.1 Assembly information

3.1.1 Important note

During assembly:
n Observe installation dimensions.
After assembly:
n The shower channel must be fully lined with mortar. n Coordinate all relevant installation details, especially regarding the

3.2 Assembly

Handling
Requirements:
n The shower channel has been mounted according to the instructions
for use.
n The complete surface of the shower channel has been lined. n The shower channel has been sealed, and the thin bed sealing is
fully cured.
n The shower channel is equipped with a protective insert.
Apply the tile adhesive.
Mounting height 12 mm: Press the tile end rail down into the tile adhesive as far as it will go.
Mounting height 15 mm: Set the tile end rail onto a tile adhesive bed of a thickness of max. 3 mm.

Handling
Remove the protective insert.
If a gap has formed at the inside of the shower channel, seal it with tile adhesive or joint filler.
3.3
Regarding mounting of the grate, refer to the instructions for use for the grate.
Disposal
Separate the product and packaging materials (e. g. paper, metal, plastic or non-ferrous metals) and dispose of in accordance with valid national legal requirements.
