Basic Operation Of Player
The 4022 comes shipped to you set up for “Auto Start”, “Auto Play” and “Auto Repeat”. This means once you have connected the player to a TV and power, all you have to do is open the tray (16) (by pressing the Open/Close button (17)), load a disc and close the tray (by pressing the Open/Close button or by manually pushing the tray in). Within about 15 seconds the movie should begin to play and the player will be automatically set to auto repeat. When the DVD is in “Auto” mode the light on the front (18) will be green.

Since the “Auto” option was designed to be as simple as possible we have removed functionality from a majority of the buttons on the remote control. If you
plan to only use this unit to play movies over and over, you will probably never need the remote. However there are a few useful functions that are still
active. Since some of our customers use 10 to 100 players in the same room we designed the remote to have single function buttons. For example, the Power button (19) ONLY turns the power off. This eliminates the issue of wanting to turn off 100 players and pressing the button once turns off, say 60, and pressing it again turns off another 20, but turns 30 of the “off” players back on. You can press the power button as many times as you like and it will only turn power off. The Play/ Pause button (20) ONLY turns players back on. Please note, when you turn players on they will automatically begin playing from the beginning of the movie unless you activate the “Resume On” feature (see instructions under “Manual Mode”). The Open/Close button (21) ONLY opens the disc tray. The “SEL” button (22) ONLY closes the disc tray.
Basic Operation Of Player - Power Off & Notes
If you wish to turn the power off to the player you can press the Power button on the remote or on the front of the player. When the power to the player is off, the light on the front will turn red. The player is powered down and only the light remains on (uses almost no electricity). If you see the light turn orange, you have put the player into “Manual Mode”. You can toggle between “Auto” and “Manual Mode” by holding the Power button on the player for about 5 seconds.

Operation Of Player In “Manual Mode”
If you have a disc that won’t auto play or you want to use the remote for other functions, you need to put the player in “Manual Mode”. To do this, simply hold the Power button on the front of the player for about 5 seconds. The light should turn orange. Once in “Manual Mode”, you can use the remote to preform other functions.
