Safety Precaution / Measures
Please comply with these precautions / measures to avoid dangerous or illegal situation and ensure peak performance of your phone.
Road safety
The use of a mobile phone while driving is illegal and should be avoided at all costs. If you need to make or receive an urgent call, move your vehicle to the side of the road and allow it to come to a complete stop before using your phone.
Inflight Safety
Switch your phone off while boarding an aircraft. Signal from your phone can affect aircraft system. You are legally obliged to comply with this recommendation.
Emergency Calls
In case of an accident or an emergency, dial 100 (Police), 101 (Fire) or 102 (Ambulance) from your phone. Being emergency numbers, these are toll free and can be reached even from areas where the network signal strength is very poor. This is a network dependent function.

Introduction
Battery Use
First time charging must be done using the regular charger and not using the USB cable.
During the first 3-4 charge sessions, charge both the battery until it has been fully charged according to the battery level indicator. This ensures higher battery backup and extends the battery life.
Avoid partial charging. Wait for the battery to discharge completely before charging it again.
Charging through the USB Cable should be reserved during an emergency.

Installing and Removing the Battery
To install the battery:
1. Press gently the back cover and slide in downward direction to open.
2. Push the battery in the battery compartment in such a way that the connectors of the phone are aligned with the connectors on the battery.

Inserting a SIM Card
This device supports dual-SIM cards. To insert SIM cards:
1. Turn off the phone and unplug it, if it is connected to an external power source.
2. Press gently the back cover and slide in downward direction to open.
3. Slide the SIM cards in the slot in such a way that the metal connectors of the SIM card are facing down.

Inserting the microSD Card
Use microSD card up to 4GB capacity for each slot, to store personal files such as photos, audio files, and videos. This device provides you the facility to insert two microSD cards.
To insert the Memory Card 1:
1. Turn off the phone, if it is connected to an external power source, unplug it.
2. Remove the back cover, and pull out the battery from the battery compartment.
3. Unlock and lift the memory card cover.
4. Place the memory card with metal connectors facing down.
5. Lock the memory card cover.

1. Locate the memory card slot at the side of the phone.
2. Pull out and rotate the memory card cover to open.
3. Insert the memory card into the slot with metal connector facing down.

Getting Started
Charging the Device
This device has two slots to charge the battery. Insert the plug of your charger to the charging port at the side of the phone.
Two battery icons are displayed on the top right corner of the screen. When you begin to charge the battery, the stripe of battery starts to roll. When battery gets fully charged, the stripe becomes stable and stops rolling.
Charger first charges the battery which is selected against the battery switch and after fully charging this, it charges another battery. For example, if you kept Battery Switch at Sub Battery then Sub Battery will be charged first, and then the Main Battery.
You can select any slot to charge the battery.

This device provides you the facility to insert two microSD cards.

Flight Mode
Continue using basic operations of the device while the transmitting function is switched off. In Flight Mode, you cannot use the call or messaging
functions of the phone. Use of Camera, Tasks, and Calendar is however permitted.

Navigation Keys
Left Navigation Key: Use to write messages.
Right Navigation Key: Use to perform FM
function.
Up Navigation Key: Use to operate Camera function.
Down Navigation Key: Use to play Audio Player.
Note: You may change the functions on
Navigation Key by changing the selection inside Phone Settings under Dedicated Key. The functions explained here are fixed as default in this phone.
Left Soft Key
Use to perform functions that display in the lower left of the display screen. In idle mode, click to access Menu.
Right Soft Key
Use to perform functions that display in the lower
right of the display screen. In idle mode, click to access the Contact list.
Dial Key
Press Dial key to view recent dialed calls.
End Key
End or reject calls. Press and hold this key to turn phone On/Off, cancel function and return to the idle screen.
Miscellaneous Keys
Functions vary in different situations or function menus:
• While writing the message text, press “*” to add symbols.
• In standby mode, press and hold “#” key to switch between Silent mode and previous mode.

• In video player application, “*” is used to switch between full screen and normal view.
• While playing FM, “0” key is used to go to FM Settings and “#” key is used for FM Recording.
• Long press “0” key to switch ON the Torch and again long press “0”key to switch Off. You must ensure that the Flash Light is ON inside Organization before using Torch.
OK Key
While navigating the device menu, use to perform the functions that display in the lower left of the display screen.
0-9 Keys
• In standby mode, use the 0-9 keys to enter a number you wish to call.
• In standby mode, press and hold “1” key to enter Voice mailbox.
• In text areas of the phone, use to insert numbers or the corresponding alphabets. In the application menu, press the corresponding number to quickly select a sub-menu item.
Keypad Lock
To unlock the keypad, press Left Soft Key (LSK), and then :. If the keypad lock is on, enter the lock code when requested.
To set the keypad lock automatically after a preset time when the phone is in the standby mode, select

Making and Receiving Calls
On the standby screen:
1. Enter the phone number including the area code and press Dial Key. Press Clear to erase a digit.
2. For international calls, insert the : sign followed by the country code, area code (without the initial zero and phone number).
3. To receive a call, press the Option :Answer or receive it directly by pressing the Dial key.
4. Press the End key to exit the call.
Making a Call using Call History
The number and time of each call that you make or receive is stored in the Call history module of the device. You can retrieve a number from call history and initiate a new call. To do so:
1. Press the Dial key to view a list of recent call history.
2. Use the up and down navigation keys to select the number you wish to call.
3. Press the Dial key to make the call.
Connecting to the PC
You can connect this handset to a computer’s USB port using the cable provided with the device packaging. To do so:
1. Connect the smaller end of the cable to the input slot at the bottom of the phone, and the other end to a standard USB port on your computer.
2. An on-screen dialog prompts you to select the connection mode, your options are:

SIM Toolkit is a standard for providing value added services and e-commerce over the GSM networks, using the phone to make the necessary transactions.
Internet Service
Internet Service browser provides all the basic services of a computer based web browser but simplified to operate within the restrictions of a mobile phone. The Internet Service Browser has the following options:
• Homepage: Homepage allows you to enter
the default URL on the phone. This will enable you to go to the same page every time you access the homepage.
• Bookmarks: Bookmarks enable you to mark a
place in an electronic document or a pointer (primarily to an internet URL) in an Internet
web browser.
• Recent Pages: Recent Pages stores the list of URLs which have been recently visited by you on the WAP browser.
• Input Address: Enter the desired address (URL) of the website or webpage in this column.
• Service Inbox: Service Inbox receives and stores URLs through text messages from the operator. You can read them and accept to go to the web page and browse.

Data Account
Data account contains configuration settings for using the MMS and GPRS services provided by your network service provider.
• GPRS: Also known as Access Point is defined
as a collection of settings, which define how the device creates a data connection to the network. To use e-mail and multimedia services or to browse web pages, you must first define access points for these services.
This device is equipped with access points for popular service providers. You can Add, Edit, and Delete the GPRS access points.

• Call Divert: You can set to forward the
incoming call in different conditions and enable to Activate/Deactivate call diversion.
• Call Barring: In order to activate this service,
it requires the services provided by the network service provider. When you change barring password, you need to input the old password.
• Line Switching: Enables you to select Line
1/2 for the phone.
• Closed User Group: This is a network based
service. It enables to enter group name and edit as per individual requirement.
Advance Settings
You may be able to set advance settings. The options are:
• Blacklist: Set the Blacklist mode to On/Off,
and set the Blacklist Numbers. Blacklisted
numbers with ON status is not able to reach your phone.
• Auto Redial: You can select to redial the number automatically when a call is not connected.
• Call Time Display: After setting this function On, you can view the call time displayed on the screen.
• Call Time Reminder: After setting this function On, it will offer a warning tone towards the single or periodic setting as your own during the call process, so you will be reminded of the call time at periodic intervals during a call.
• Auto Quick End: Set the Auto Quick End to On/Off.
• Reject By SMS: You can reject a call by sending an SMS.

The device supports multimedia messaging, which allows you to send rich content (images, videos, sounds and so on) as message attachment to recipients. The various options are:

Compose, Send, Retrieve, and Filter. You can also check the memory status of the phone.

Broadcast Message
Your phone is capable to receive and store broadcast messages. You can set the receive status to ON/OFF for both the SIM cards. The messages are stored in Read Message folder. If Broadcast Message Receive Mode is ON, it is also displayed on the Main Screen.

Camera
Use the in-built camera to take and save pictures. Press Menu the camera application. To take a picture, focus the camera towards the object you wish to click and press OK.
NOTE: Do not move your hand until the captured photo displays on the screen as a still image.
Use the Options command to view and use other camera functions:
• Photos: View the images captured by your
phone. You can view, set the image as a wallpaper/screensaver, rename or delete the images.
• Camera Settings: Choose shutter sound, EV,
Contrast, Anti-Flicker, Delay Timer, and Cont. Shot for the camera.
Multimedia Camera to launch
• Image Settings: Set the Image Size (in pixel) and Image Quality.
• White Balance: Increase or decrease the white balance to get image colors to display as accurately as possible.
• Scene Mode: Select the Auto or Night mode for the camera to capture images in dark.
• Effect Settings: Set the effects that you wish to use for the captured images.
• Storage: Choose the location on which you would like to save the captured pictures. You may either choose Phone memory or the microSD card.
• Restore Default: Undo all customizations and restore to factory settings.
Image Viewer
Image viewer stores all your pictures which are captured by the phone camera. It provides you

the option to View, Browse Style, Send, Use As, Rename, Delete, Sort By, Delete All Files, and Storage options for the images.
Audio Player
Your phone provides you a friendly music player device for entertainment purpose. You may enter the music player via main menu or use the side quick key for quick access. Another way to access the music player is through the navigation Down key. You may listen to the music in MP3, MP4, AMR, MIDI, WAV, and AAC format. You may also download the music content via USB or other connection. Music tracks must be saved in My Music folder in File Manager in order to be automatically detected and added into the default play list. You may listen to the music through the headset or loudspeaker. The user­friendly interface is specially designed to enable you to control, play, pause, and stop the music player as you wish.
Note: It supports MP4, 3GP, AVI and other formats. Although some video format of MP4, AVI and other formats are not played because of the larger difference between the internal encoding formats, they need the conversion software provided by random or other third party software to transfer to the format identified by this system.
Video Recorder
Press Menu Multimedia Video Recorder.
Position the camera towards the moving object, and press the OK key or Camera key. The video that you record can be of 3GP format. To stop recording, press OK once again.
To watch the recorded videos, select Video Player. The options available for video recorder settings are:

• Camcorder Settings: Set the White balance,
EV, Night mode, and Banding of the video recorder.
• Video Settings: Set the quality of the video
as Normal, High or Low.
• White Balance: Select the white balance for
the camera to increase the intensity of white light. You may be able to choose: Auto/ Daylight/Tungsten/Fluorescent/Cloudy/ Incandescent.
• Effect Settings: Select different effects
for your recorded videos, such as normal, grayscale, Sepia, Sepia green, Sepia blue and so forth.
• Storage: Select the storage location of the
recorded videos to phone memory or to memory card.
• Restore Default: Restore the default settings of the camcorder.
Video Player
Play videos stored on the microSD cards or the phone memory.
If you are a first-time user, select press Play List to have the device automatically search for tracks stored on the memory card and then add them to the default play list. The supported audio formats include 3GP, MP3, MP4, MIDI, AMR, WAV, and etc. Select Options to perform additional functions such as view song information or display the equalizer to adjust sound levels.
FM Radio
The FM radio application turns the mobile phone into a portable FM Radio device. It primarily provides s the interface to a single-chip electronically turned FM stereo radio for listening

to live-broadcast stations. You must connect the handsfree to your phone as it works as an antenna. Right Navigation Key is provisioned to use FM quickly on Phone’s Idle Screen.
Sound Recorder
With Sound recorder, you can record voice conversations and save the voice recordings as a sound clip, and play the sound clip. Sound recorder supports the AMR and WAV file format.
Select Options for other options:
• New Record: Start recording sound.
• List: You may able to view the list of already
recorded sound files from the microSD card.
• Settings: Set the output format and the
storage location for the recorded sound files. You may store the recorded audio clips as AMR and WAV files.
Note: If the sound file is set up as ringtone, once renamed, the ringtone will return to the default one.

Calendar
You can use the phone’s calendar to keep track of important meetings. To access calendar press
Organizer Calendar. You can select

year, month and date using direction keys. On a selected date you can select the following options:
• View: If there is a special background color
on a date it means there is some task on that day. You can also view any Note/Remark mentioned by you for a task stored by you previously.
• View All: View all the events.
• Add Event: When you add a new event you
can do the following:
o Start Date and Time: Set start date and
time for the event.
o End Date and Time: Set end date and
time for the event.
o Subject: Add the subject for the event.
o Alarm: Set the alarm status On/Off.
o Repeat: Set the alarm to repeat Once,
Everyday, Weekly, and Monthly etc.
o Location: Enter the location of the event.
o Priority: Set priority of the event as
Medium, High, or Low.
o Details: Enter details about the event.
o Status: Set the status of the event as
Done or Undone.
• Delete Event: Delete an event of a Spec Period, Overdue or All.
• Jump to Date: Input the date to jump to the required date.

Go to Weekly View: Toggle between week/
month of the calendar.
• Indian Calendar: View the details of the
Indian Calendar like Tithi Details, Festival List, Date to tithi, and Yearly Tithi.
• Onscreen Prompts: Choose if the calendar
should display Indian Dates or None.
Tasks
You can use your phone to keep track of all your Date, Call, and Anniversary.
Alarm
Set the alarm to ring at a specific date and time. Press Edit to access the following sub-options:
• Status: Set the status of the alarm.
• Time: Set the time at which you wish to ring
the alarm.
• Repeat: Select the repeat format of the alarm whether you wish to ring the alarm every day, or at specific day.
• Snooze: Set the time (in minutes) at which the alarm should snooze.
• Alert type: Set the alert type of the alarm whether you wish the phone to vibrate or not.
World Clock
World clock can be used to know the time in various cities across the world. You can see a world map and immediate time in those cities using world clock. Press Menu World Clock, to view a particular city time using the direction keys.

This function enables you to switch On/Off the torch light.

Phonebook
Save and update contact information, such as phone numbers, home addresses, or e-mail addresses of your contacts. Add an image or a personal ringing tone to a contact. You can also create Caller Groups, which allow you to communicate with several contacts at the same time, and send contact information (business cards) to or receive it from compatible devices. The options available are:
Quick Search
Use Quick Search to search a contact just by entering the first few letters in the contact’s name. As you type, all matching contacts display as a list, use the navigation keys to select the required contact, and press the Dial key to initiate a call to this contact.
Add New Contact
To add a contact:
1. Press Menu Contact, and choose the location where you
want to store this contact. Your options are phone or SIM cards memory.
2. Press Name and enter a name for the contact.
3. Similarly, you can also specify company Number, Home number, Company name, E-mail address, Office number and so forth.
NOTE: If you choose to store the contact on SIM memory, you can only enter a Name and a Number, but if you want to store the contact on Memory card, then you can enter other details such as company name, e-mail address, or alternate phone numbers etc.

Create a caller group to send the same SMS to multiple contacts, without having to compose the message separately for each contact.
The options available for Phonebook are:
View
You may be able to view the Name and Number of selected contact person.
Send Text Message
Lets you send the text messages to the selected contact number.
Send Multimedia Message
Lets you send the multimedia messages to the selected contact number.
Call
You can make a call to the selected contact.
Edit
Lets you edit the selected contact.
Delete
Delete the selected contacts. You can choose to delete contacts from SIM cards or from the Phone Memory.
Copy
Use Copy function to copy the selected contact To Phone (i.e. Phonebook), To SIM 1/2, and To File (i.e. Phone Memory or microSD Card 1/2).
Move
Lets you move the selected contact From Phone to SIM 1 or From Phone to SIM 2.
Export
Export the selected contact to Phone or Memory Card List. List Storage is selected by you inside

Send Contact
Lets you send the selected contact As Text Message, As Multimedia Message, and Via Bluetooth.
Add to Blacklist
Enables you to set the status of the selected contact to blacklist and edit the number from whom you do not wish to receive calls.
Mark Several
Lets you mark the several contact numbers and send one text message to many numbers or you may be able to Delete Marked contacts.
Phonebook Settings
Select Menu Phonebook Option Phonebook Settings. The available settings are:
• Preferred Storage: The memory type you want to use for storing contacts and only display the contact list you have chosen for storage.
• Speed Dial: Press left soft key to On/Off speed dial, and also Set Number for speed dial list.
• My Number: You may be able to edit your Name and Number and it also provides the option to send your number As Text Message, As Multimedia Message, or Via Bluetooth.
• VCard Version:
A vCard is a file format standard for sharing
electronic business cards. However, not all mobile phones support the same vCard version. Select Vcard Version as Vcard 2.1 or Vcard 3.0.

• Save Contact Notify: This option enables
a pop-up in the phone screen to save the contact to the Phonebook.
• Memory Status: Displays Used and Available
contacts memory of SIM1/2 and Phone.
• Copy Contacts: You may be able to copy the
contacts from SIM 1/2 to phone memory or from phone memory to SIM 1/2.
• Move Contacts: Move the desired contacts
from SIM 1/2 to phone memory or from phone memory to SIM 1/2.
• Delete All Contacts: You may able to delete
all contacts from SIM 1/2 or from the Phone memory.
• List: This is the List of Exported and Imported
Contacts from SIM1/2 card, Phone, and microSD cards. You need to check and manage the Listed Contacts before performing Export
Contacts or Import Contacts or Export/Import User File.
• Name Search: Search the phone numbers by entering initial letters of the name.
• Export All: Lets you export the contacts from Preferred Storage (i.e. SIM1/2, Phone, All) to the List.
• Import to Phone: Import all the contacts from the List Phone Memory (i.e. Preferred Storage).
• Import to SIM 1/2: Import all the contacts from the List to the SIM1/2 (i.e. Preferred Storage).
• T-card Pbook Settings: Lets you set the file path to export/import the contacts in .txt format in between List and Phone/Memory card (i.e. file path set by you). Also inform you about the memory status of List Contacts in Phone and Memory Card.

contacts from the List to the Phone/Memory Card (file path set by you). The file will save in following format:
Phonebook_user_export.txt.
• Import User File: Lets you import all the
contacts from Phone/Memory Card (file path set by you) into the List. The format of import user file must be in following format from where you are interested to import the contacts (Phone/Memory Card):

The phone provides you the option to change the settings for various features of the phone. Press

The following options are available in settings:
Dual SIM Settings
You have following options listed under Dual SIM settings:
• Dual SIM: This option activates both the SIM
cards.
• Only SIM1: This option activates only SIM1.
• Only SIM2: This option activates only SIM2.
• Flight Mode: Disables all RF based
communication for both SIM1 and SIM2. However, you can use other features/ functions of the phone, such as games and alarm.

Phone Settings
You have following options listed under phone settings:
• Time and Date: Let you set home city, time and date on the phone.
• Schedule Power On/Off: Let you set a particular time on the phone when the phone should power on/off itself.
• Pref. Input Methods: This enables you to select the text input method. They are: Smart ABC/Smart abc/ ABC/abc/Abc, and Numeric input.
• Display: Under Display Settings, you can set a host of different characteristics of the phone. Like:
o Wallpaper: Set favorite wallpaper on the
main screen of your phone.

o Screen Saver: Let you set an image as a
screen saver.
o Show Date and Time: Enables you to see
the date and time on the idle screen.
o Show Network: Displays the name of the
Network on the phone screen.
o Clock Type: Select the clock that you wish
to see on the idle screen either Analog or Digital.
• Themes: Select a theme for the phone and
Activate, Update period, and Set order for the theme.
• Dedicated Key: This option helps you
dedicate/map certain key features of the phone with the Directional keys (UP/DOWN/ LEFT/RIGHT) of the phone. At anytime you can change the mapping and select a new feature from the list of features available.
• Auto Update of Date and Time: This feature automatically updates the date and time on the phone, receiving it from the network.
• UART Settings: Dual SIM phone usually need to setup UART. You can choose SIM 1 or SIM
2.
• LCD Backlight: Controls the brightness and time for which backlight displays.
• Shortcuts: Set the shortcuts for various functions so that they can be accessed from a single place.
NOTE: This feature is network dependent.
Network Settings
Network settings provide you the option to select a desired network and addition of a new network to the network list. The network setup gives you the following options:

Security Settings
Under Security settings, we have the following options available:
• SIM1/2 Security Settings
o SIM1/2 Lock: Press OK key to enable
PIN lock, which will require you to input a password when the mobile phone is switched on. Otherwise, the SIM card is unavailable.
o Fixed Dial: Outgoing calls from your
phone can be restricted by making a fixed dialing list that allows only numbers on that list to be dialled from the phone.
o Barred Dial: Barred Dialling is a SIM card/
Network dependent feature. If your operator supports it, then you can use the facility in the phone.
o Change Password: This option enables
you to change the password of SIM1/2.
• Phone Lock: Phone Lock protects your phone from any unauthorized usage or unauthorized access to information stored in the phone. When phone lock is activated, the phone would ask for the phone lock code every time you power-on the phone. Enter the lock code (default as 0000) to use the phone. You can simply unlock the phone by pressing

• Auto Keypad Lock: Keypad lock automatically locks the keypad after a preset time interval. You can set the time from 5 seconds to 5 minutes.

• Change Password: Change password option
provides you the option to change Phone lock password.
• Remote Control: Controlling your phone from
a long distance. To enable this feature you have to enter phone’s security code which by default is “0000”. Next you are prompted to select the functions that you would like to control remotely. You may choose Remote control items like: Power Off, Repeat Power Off, Delete Phonebook, Delete Call history, and so on. Finally set the number inside the Mobile Tracker (explained below) from your phonebook that will be authorized to execute the remote commands.
NOTE: The number you need to associate with Remote Control must be same as the one you set for the mobile tracker feature.
• Mobile Tracker: This function enables you to track your phone in case it gets lost. The default password for mobile tracker is
0000. If someone inserts another SIM card in your mobile, you will receive an SMS to the assigned number from the new SIM card to know who is using your mobile. You must keep the Mobile Tracker Status ON and Set the No. inside where you can receive the SMS.
• Privacy Lock: By entering the password (default as 0000), you can protect your SMS, Phonebook, Call History, MMS and Storage data.
Connectivity
Your phone is designed to be compliant with Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth technology enables wireless connections between electronic devices. The Bluetooth connection can be used to

Bluetooth
You can communicate with other compatible device through wireless Bluetooth connection. Compatible devices may include: Mobile Phones, Personal Computers, Bluetooth headsets. Via Bluetooth, you can send or receive pictures, videos or music files.

Ebook Reader
The Ebook reader can read .txt electronic documents. You can connect the phone via a USB line to a PC and then place .txt documents in the Ebook folder on the phone or the T-Flash card.

Add New Contact
Select
Menu Shortcuts Add New Contact.
Use this function to save the new contact either in SIM Cards or in Phone Memory. To use this function in detail see the earlier section of
Phonebook.
Search Contact
Alternatively, enter any part of the name of a contact, and press Options followed by Search and Input method. The list of matching contacts display as a list. Use the navigation keys to select the required contact, and press the Dial key to initiate a call to this contact. You may also choose to send an SMS or MMS, delete the contact, and delete or move the contact between the SIM and phone memory.
