V. SAR
Your phone meets the SAR requiremen ts for exposure to radio waves, recommended by Govt. of India. Your mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receive r. It is designe d and manu facture d so as no t to exce ed th e lim its f or e xposure to

The package includes a chargeable battery, a charger and other accessories. Please refer to the Accessory section for details.

1.Security
Emergency call
In any countr y, yo u ca n di al 112 (or oth er
emergency call number) for emergency help.

For your safety
• Switch off the phone in hospitals and aircraft. Obey any res trict ions. Wir eless dev ices can affect t he medical treatment and cause interference in aircraft.
• Some medical devices such as hearing aids and pacemaker may be sensitive to external radi o f reque ncy emis sion s. C onsu lt t he device manufacturers or your doctor before using the phone around the medical devices.
• Pay special attention to the ring tone volume and vibration setting s if you h ave a heart problem.

• Do not keep the phone near magnetic cards

• The phone will become warm under normal use and while in battery charging.

• The metal p arts of the phone may i rritate yo ur s kin dep en din g on you r he al th condition.
• Do n ot put the phone i n the back pocket. Sitting on it may damage the phone. Do not put the phone on the bottom of a bag. You may crush it.
• When the vib rate mode is on, place the phone careful ly to avoid it b eing dr opped from a heigh t or be ing moved to a heat source due to the vibrating.
Notice for batteries use
• Do not disassemble or modify your batteries, otherwise it can cause leakage, over h eat,
re or explosion.
• Disposing battery in a re can cause re or
explosion. Old batteries should be returned to your dealer or be dispos ed according to local regulations. Do not dispose the battery as household waste.
• Do not short the cir cuit of the bat tery with wires, need les o r oth er me tal o bjects, or store the batteries with necklace or other met al obj ect s, oth erw ise it c an cau se
leakage, over heat, re or explosion.
• There is a risk of blinding if the liquid of the batteries gets into your eyes. In case of this,

do not rub your eyes, you should rinse your eyes well with fresh wate r an d go to the hospital immediately.
• If the leaked liquid of the battery touches the skin, it can burn the skin. Please wash your skin with fresh water and go to the hospital immediately.
• Never put the ba ttery in you r mont h. The liquid of the battery can be toxic.
• Stop us ing the batt ery when yo u fi nd it became hotter, and change color and shape abnormally during use, charging or storing.
• Keep the batteries dry.
• Do not use or store batteries near re, heater
and oth er place wi th high tem pera ture, otherwise it can result in leakage, over heat,
re or explosion. Store the battery in a cool
and ventilated place without direct sun light.
• Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours.
• The battery can be charged and discharged for hu ndreds of times but it will e ventually wear out. The battery life is shortened with each charging.
• Whe n rep lac ing t he ba tte ry, use o nly the bat ter ies a ppr ove d by th e ph one manufacturer. Damage resulting from using un-authorized batteries will not be covered by warranty.

Trafc safety
• Do not us e y our pho ne when dr iving a vehicle. Give full attentio n to driving and to the roa d. Provided there is an emergency, stop yo ur vehicle in a safe place and t hen use y our phone . Please obey all the local
trafc laws and regulations.
• Nor mally t he elect roni c s yste ms in the veh icl e shou ld no t b e aff ecte d by the
RF (Radio Freq uency) signa ls f rom y our
wirel ess phone. How ever if you suspec t any dama ge i s r esulti ng from the RF of your phone, c ontact y our car dealer. Stop
using your phone in the car until a qualied
technician clears the problem.
• Turn off your phone when in the gas station or any place where using wireless equipment is prohibited. Do not place or transport your
phone with inammables or explosives, the internal sparkle may cause re.
Airplane safety
• Power off your pho ne before boarding, the use of a wireless phone in an airplane will be dangerous to the operation of the airplane and disrupt the wireless telephone network and maybe illegal. Failure to observe these instructions may lead to law suit or denial of GSM cellular network service to the offender.

2.Getting Started
2.1.Assembling the device
Gently hold the back cover of the device and
slide in upward direction to open
2.2.Batteries
The b attery is include d in the pack age. It is not fully charged out of factory but it may still be able to power on your phone. Please com pletely use up the power of the batt ery and then charge it for at least 12 hours with your phone turned off. You battery will reach its op timal state after three cycles of charge and discharge.
2.2.1 .Instal ling a nd un installi ng th e
battery

To install the battery, remove the back cover
from the phone by pressing rmly on the cover and
slide it up. Align the golden contacts of the battery to the contacts in the phone, and then gently snap down the battery into place. Re-assemble the back cover.
To uninstall the battery, ip the battery out from
the bottom of the battery.
2.2.2.Using the battery
The wa iting tim e and calling time cap acities
specied by the phone manufacturer are obtained
und er the id eal ope rati ng envi ron ment . T he actual values will vary with the network condition, operating environment and operation method.
Please comply with the local regulatio ns of
disposing t he battery (such as recycling). Do not
dispose it as household waste.

2.2.3.Battery level indicator

2.3.Connecting to the Network
2.3.1.SIM card

Module (SIM) card into your phone before using it.
SIM card is supplied by your network carrier.
Al l the inf orm at ion rel ate d to n et wor k connectio n is recorded on the SIM c ard, so are the contact inform ation such as na mes, p hone numbers and SMS t hat you set to st ore on the SIM. You can take out the SIM card fro m th e phone and insert it into another GSM phone to use it. Most new pho nes will recognize th e SIM c ard automatically.
Do not to uch the g olde n c onta cts of the SIM c ard and place it away from electricity and magnetism to avoid damage. You will not be able to use the phone if the SIM card is damaged.
Note:
Before inserting and taking out the SIM card,
always make sure that the phone is switched
off and disconnected from any external power

source; otherwise both the phone and the SIM
card may be damaged.
2.3.2 .Instal ling a nd un installi ng th e
SIM card and Memory Card.
The SIM c ard u sually comes attach ed to a spec ial card. The meta l co ntacts of SIM car d is e asily d amaged by scr atching, so t ake it out carefully before assembling it into the phone.
Switch off the phone; remove the back cover, battery and other external power s ource. Fit the SIM card into the SIM card slot. Align the angled corner of the SIM card wi th the s lot. Slide in the SIM card, mak e su re i t is in plac e, i nstall the battery, and restore the back cover.
Likewise, to remove the SIM card, switch off the phone, remove the battery and then take out
the SIM card.
Insert memory card. Take compa tible m icro SD card, and place it into its respective slot.

2.3.3.Unlock the SIM card
PIN code
Your Persona l Id entifi cation Numb er (P IN)
code protect s the SIM card against unauthorized use. Your PIN code is usually supplied with the SIM card. If this secu rity function is enabled, you need to enter the PIN code every time you turn on the phone. You can also disable this function.
To unlock the SIM card , press and hold the power button to turn on the phone. Enter the PIN code. After three consec utive incorrect PIN code entries , the code is bl ocked, and yo u need the PUK code to unblock it.
PUK code
This code is required to change a locked PIN code. If the code is not supplied with the SIM card, contact your service provider. After ten consecutive incorrect PU K code entri es, the SIM card canno t be us ed any more. Please contact your ser vice provider to buy a new SIM card. You cannot edit

PUK code. If it is lost, Please contact your service provider.
2.3.4.Connecting to the network
After the SIM card is unlocked, you phone will automatically search for the registered network or other local available network. Once connected, the name of the network carrier will appear on the top of the screen.
You phone is now in Standby mode, ready for making and receiving calls.
2.4.Text Input Method

View: View the selected image.
Details: Show some information of image.

Send: Send the selected image to Bluetooth.

Rename: Change the name of the image.
Delete: Delete the selected image.

4.3.Video recorder
In video recorder, your options include:

4.7.FM radio
You can choose options including:

Manual Input: Manually enter the ch annel frequency to search.
Auto Search: Automatically search and save the channel.
Record: Record the currently-playing FM.
File List: List all recorded les.
Listening to the FM radio
To listen to the FM radio
:
1.Connect the heads et into the headset jack at the left side of your pho ne. The headset acts as a n antenna and helps receive radio broadcast signals.

a phone number of the receiver and nally p ress

password and PIN2 support 4-8 digit numbers, do not supp ort other characters. The password and PIN2 of S IM ca rd are prov ided b y the netwo rk opera tor. W hen the P IN/PIN2 is input wro ngly in success ively three times, the SIM card will be locked.
The PU K /PUK2 are re quired to input if you
want to unlock the SIM card. The PUK/PUK2 is provided by t he networ k operat or. If the PUK is input wrongly i n successi vely 10 times, the SIM card will be locked and discarded permanently.

Use Mobile tracker feature to help you locate your device if it is lost or stolen. When someone inserts a new SIM card in your device, the Mobile tracker feature automatically sends a message to preset recipients, so that you can initiate steps to recover it. To activate Mobile tracker, go to Menu
→Settings→Se curity Sett ings→Mobile Tracker.
The available options for Mobile tracker are:

The phone cannot be turned on
When the battery is very low, the phone may

Cannot make certain calls
Check if Call Barring is set. If it is set, you may
not be able to make calls or only certain calls are

My call is picked up by another phone
Check if call dive rt i s se t. I f it is set, your incoming calls may be diverted to other numbers or devices.

Make sure you have inserted SIM card. If you have installed it but it cannot be detected, please try clean the gold en contacts of the SIM card by using a dry cl oth. If it still is not working, please
contact your network carrier.
No service
If you are in a n ar ea n ot c overed by your network, or if a physical obstacle is present, such

as in an enclosed area, the message “No service” will be displayed on your Standby screen and you will not be able to make or receive calls. You can
