Safety Precautions
Please comply with these precautions / measures to avoid actions that may endanger your safety and those of other road users, and maximize device performance.
Road safety
The use of a mobile phone while driving is illegal. If you need to make or receive a call, move your vehicle to the left side of the road and allow it to come to a complete stop before using your phone.
Aircraft Safety
Switch your phone off while boarding an aircraft. Signal from your phone can affect aircraft system. You are legally obliged to comply with this recommendation.
Switch your phone off when entering
any explosive area. Observe any provided guidelines or regulations.
Emergency Calls
The Emergency Number worldwide for mobile is 112. If you are out of the coverage area of your mobile; network, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to call the emergency number.

Introduction
Battery Use
To extend the battery life of your device:
• Use the standard wall charger while charging the phone for the first time.
• During the first 3-4 charge cycles, charge the battery until the battery indicator on the display stops moving up and down.
• Avoid partial charging. Wait for the battery to discharge completely before charging it again.
• Use the USB cable to charge the device only during an emergency.

Getting Started
Assembling the device
1. Locate the groove at the bottom of the phone, and pull the back cover to open.
2. If the battery is inside its compartment, lift it in direction of the arrow.

3. Insert the SIM card. Make sure that the contact area on the card is facing the connectors on the device and that the bevelled corner is facing the top of the device.
4. Insert memory card. Take a compatible microSD, and place it into memory card slot as displayed below.

5. Insert the battery. Align the contacts of the battery with the corresponding connectors on the battery compartment and insert in the direction of the arrow.
Charging the Device
Insert the Plug of your charger to the charging port at the base of your phone.
When you begin to charge the battery, the stripe of Signal Strength on the right corner of the screen starts to roll. When battery gets fully charged, the stripe becomes stable and stops rolling.

Dual SIM Card
Your phone support dual SIM cards, allowing you to use two different phones numbers on one mobile phone.
Flight Mode
Continue using basic operations of the device while the transmitting function is switched off. This enables passengers on airplanes to use the device in-flight.
In Flight Mode, you cannot use the call or messaging functions of the phone, use of Camera, To do list, and Calendar is permitted.
Keypad Lock
To prevent accidental dialing of numbers, your device is configured to automatically lock the keypad if left idle for 30 seconds .To customize the auto lock options, select Menu
Settings
Security Settings Keypad Lock.
Your options are:
• Select Off to disable keypad auto
lock.
• Select the period after which the keypad is locked automatically.
To change the lock code, select Menu

Right Soft Key
Use to perform functions that displays in the lower right of the display screen. For example, it works as a key to navigate to the previous screen. In idle mode, click to access the Contact list.
Dial Key
This device is equipped two dial keys. When you receive a call, the SIM number is displayed along with the caller’s information. Select SIM 1 Dial Key or SIM2 Dial Key.
End Key
Select and hold the End key to switch the phone on or off. During a call, select the End key to exit call.
Numeric keys (0-9)
In standby mode, use the 0-9 keys to enter a number you wish to call.
In standby mode, press and hold “1” key to enter Voice mailbox.
In text areas of the phone, use to insert numbers or the corresponding alphabets. In the application menu, press the corresponding number to quickly select a sub-menu item.

Making and Receiving calls
Make a call
• Enter the phone number including
the area code. Select Clear to erase a digit.
• For international calls, prefix the number by inserting the ‘+’ sign followed by the country code, area code (without the initial zero and phone number).
Receive calls
When you receive a call, the SIM for which the call is for is displayed on the screen along with the incoming call information. Select SIM 1 Dial Key or SIM2 Dial Key to receive a call.
• Select End key to exit an incoming or outgoing call.
• To receive a call, press the Answer
key.
Making a Call using Call History
The number and time of each call that you make or receive is stored in the Call History module of the device. You can retrieve a number from call history and initiate a new call. To do so;
• Select SIM1 Dial Key or SIM2 Dial key to view its corresponding call logs.
• Use the up or down arrow keys in the four-way navigation panel to select a contact to call.
Call Options
During a call, the phone allows you to perform various functions. Select Options during a call to view the call options. The options are:

frequency(: You can choose on/off, which is to send dual-tone multi­frequency sound. This can offer dialing to the telephone numbers
with extensions or IVR systems installed for menu driven options.
• Voice Changer: Set different voice mode during the call.
Connecting to the PC
You can connect this handset to a computer’s USB port using the cable provided with the device packaging. To do so;
1. Connect the smaller end of the cable to the input slot at the left side of the phone, and the other end to a standard USB port on your computer.
2. An on-screen dialog prompts you to select the connection mode, your option;

phone and memory card of your phone as a regular hard drive partition on your computer. Display Map the device as drive on the computer and transfer files between the PC and phone. Great feature to backup phone data to your computer.

V-Connect
SIM Tool Kit
If your network operator offers such a service and you have subscribed for it, you will be able to use this function. If you insert a SIM card with a value-added (STK) function, you can use your desired service after selecting the STK service function.
Wireless Access Protocol
WAP or Wireless Application Protocol browser provides all the basic services of a computer based web browser but is simplified to operate within the restrictions of a mobile phone. The WAP Browser has the following options:
• Homepage: Homepage allows you
to enter the default URL on the phone. This will enable you to go to the same page every time you access the homepage.
• Bookmarks: Bookmarks enables you to mark a place in an electronic document or a pointer (primarily to an internet URL) in an Internet web browser.
• Recent pages: Quick access to frequently visited websites.
• Offline pages: Save web pages for offline viewing.
• Enter address: Enter the desired address (URL) of the website or webpage in this column.
• Service inbox: Service Inbox receives and stores URLs through text messages from the operator. You can read them and accept to go to the web page and browse.

Call history
Use Call History to view the dialed, received or missed calls. On the Idle screen, press Menu both the SIM cards are inserted, the call history for each is displayed separately. However, the information they provide remains the same.
SIM history
Missed calls: Unanswered calls.
Dialled calls: List of the recently dialled
numbers.
Received calls: Displays the list of latest received calls.
Delete call Log: Clear all call logs.
Calls timers: Duration of calls to and
from your phone.
Call cost: Approximate cost of outgoing calls.
Call History. If
SMS counter: Total number of messages sent or received by the device.
GPRS counter: View the amount of data transferred during packet data connections.

Camera
Use the in-built camera to take and save pictures. Select Menu
Camera to launch the camera
application. To take a picture, focus the camera towards the object you wish to click and touch OK.
NOTE: Do not move your hand until the captured photo displays on the screen as a still image.
Use the Options command to view and use other camera functions:
• Switch to video recorder: Camera
mode to video recording to captue live motion.
• Image Viewer: Choose to view
the images already stored in your phone.
• Camera settings: Choose shutter
Multimedia
sound, EV, Night mode, Banding (light frequency) and the Delay timer for the camera.
• Image settings: Set the image size (in pixel) and image quality.
• White balance: Increase or decrease the white balance to get image colors to display as accurately as possible.
• Effect settings: Set the effects that you wish to use for the captured images.
Storage: Choose the location, where you would like to save the captured pictures. You may either choose phone memory or the microSD card.
• Restore default: Undo all customizations and restore to factory settings.

Image Viewer
To view photos stored on your phone, press Menu
Viewer.
Video Recorder
Select Menu Multimedia Video Recorder.
After setting the view, you can start to record a video by touching the OK key. Recorded video files support the 3GP file format.
To watch the recorded videos, select Video Player. The options available for video recorder settings are:
• Camcorder setting: Set the White
balance, EV, Night mode, and Banding of the video recorder.
• Effect settings: Select different
effects for your recorded videos,

such as normal, grayscale, Sepia, Sepia green, Sepia blue and so forth.
• Restore default: Restore the default settings of the camcorder.
• Switch to camera: You can directly go to camera to take the images.
Video player
Select Menu Multimedia Video player, list of available videos are
displayed. Play videos stored on the microSD card or the phone memory.
The supported audio formats include MP3, MIDI, and WAV. Select Options to perform functions such as Play, Send, Rename, Delete, Delete all files, and Sort.
During video playback, select and hold asterisk key to change to full screen view or vice a versa.

Audio player
Your phone provides you a friendly audio player device for entertainment purpose. You may enter the audio player via main menu. Music tracks must be saved in My Music folder in File Manager in order to be automatically detected and added into the default play list. You may listen to music through the headset or loudspeaker. The user friendly interface is specially designed to allow easy access to common functions such as play, pause, and stop.
Sound Recorder
With Sound recorder, you can record voice conversations and save the voice recordings as a sound clip, and play the sound clip. Sound recorder supports the MP3/MIDI/AMR/WAV file format.
Select Options for other options:
• Record: Start recording sound.
Settings: Set the output format
and the storage location for the recorded sound files. You may store the recorded audio clips as AMR and WAV files and adjust the Audio quality as Low and High.
Note: If the sound file is set up as ringtone, once renamed, the ringtone will return to the default one.
FM Radio
Transform your device into a FM Radio device. You must connect the earphone to your phone as it works as an antenna.
• Channel list: Displays the list of channels you have saved.

frequency of the channel you want to listen.
Auto search: Automatically search
for available radio channels.

• Record: Start recoding the radio broadcast.
• Append: Continue recording at the end of a previously recorder sound file.
• File list: View list of recorded track.
• Loud speaker: Switch loud speaker
on or off.
Schedule FM Recording
You can program this phone to record certain FM channel at a certain time and date.
Select Menu Game menu. Using option under Game settings, you may enable/disable Background music, Sound effect, Game vibration and Volume for the selected game. Game interface offers option to select a Copter or Puzzle game.

Messages
In Messages, you can send and receive text and multimedia messages. To launch messages, on the idle screen, select Menu available functions. Message functions are available depending on network services that your service provider supports.
SMS
While on the idle screen, choose Menu
Messages SMS to display the
Messages module. The various options are:

the receiver to which you wish to send the SMS.

1/2 from which you wish to send the messages, if both the SIM cards are inserted.

• Templates: Templates stores
10 preloaded/pre-written text messages for ready usage.
• SMS Settings: Edit the profile
settings and the common settings, and check the memory status and preferred storage.
Using SMS Settings, you can create different profiles for using the SMS services, set message validity options, check available memory, or choose the location where you wish to store the messages.
• SMS Black List: You can choose the
status On/Off to black list the SMS and also enter the phone number to be black listed.
MMS
The device supports multimedia
messaging, which allows you to send rich content (images, videos, sounds and so on) as message attachment to recipients.
NOTE: Please get in touch with your service provider regarding the availability of multimedia messaging services.
• Write message: Create a multimedia message.
Inbox: Messages received using MMS are stored in the Inbox folder.
• Outbox: Sent messages are stored here temporarily.
• Draft: Partial or complete text messages that you wish to send at a later time.

• Message settings: You can edit the
settings for compose, send, retrieve, filter and the server profile. You can also check the memory status of the phone.
Chat
Chat enables you to enter two different user’s default settings (Chat Room 1 and Chat Room 2) to enable sending and receiving the messages. Chat option enables you to see the complete conversation on a single window.
Voice mailbox
The Voice mailbox is an interactive system for storing, processing and reproducing verbal messages through a voice mailbox. The service is operator dependant and the settings are provided
by the operator upon activating the service on the SIM card.
Broadcast message
Your phone is capable to receive and store broadcast messages. You can set the receive status to ON/OFF. ‘Read message’ folder stores the received messages.

View the files stored in the phone memory and on the microSD card.
Select Options to display the following options:
• Open: View contents of an existing
folder.
• Create folder: You can create a new

Settings
The phone provides you the option to change the settings for various features of the phone. Select Menu to access the Settings menu.
Call Settings
• Voice Changer: Set different voice
mode during the call.
• SIM1/2 call settings:
o Owner number: You can hide
number and send number.
o Call waiting: You can activate
this function or deactivate it, and also view the current settings via query.
o Call forward: You can set to
forward the incoming calls in different conditions.
o Call barring: In order to activate
this service, it requires the

services provided by the network service provider. When you change barring password, you need to input the old password.
o Closed user group: Several
numbers can be listed to form a user group. Use this option to specify restrictions to the communication of a user group.
• Blacklist Numbers: Set whether to activate the incoming call filter, and set the blacklist.
• White list: Set whether to activate the incoming call filter, and edit the white list numbers.
• Auto redial: You can select to redial the number automatically when a call is not connected.

• Speed dial: Set speed dial to ‘on/
off’, and edit the speed dial list.

o Call time display: After setting
this function on, you can view the call time displayed on the screen.
o Call time reminder: After
setting this function to ‘on’, it will offer a warning tone towards the single or periodic setting as your own during the call process, so you will be reminded of the call time at periodic intervals during a call.
o Auto quick end: Can be set
to open or close the function, duration of time 1-9999 seconds.
User Profiles
The available profiles are: General, Meeting, Outdoor, Indoor, Headset, Bluetooth and also you can set the tone, volume, alert, and ring etc. with Customize option so that Whenever you receive an incoming call or a new message you can customize the use of your phone to different types of call environments.
Dual SIM settings
You have following options listed under Dual SIM settings:
• Dual SIM active: This option activates both the SIM cards.
• Only SIM1 active: This option activates only SIM1.
• Only SIM2 active: This option activates only SIM2.

• Flight mode: Disables all RF based
communication for both SIM1 and SIM2. However, you can use other features/functions of the phone, such as games and alarm.
Phone settings
You have following options listed under phone settings:
• Time and Date: Let you set home
city, time and date on the phone.
• Schedule power on/off: Let you
set a particular time on the phone when the phone should power on/ off itself.
• Language: This device currently
supports English only.
• Preferred input methods: This
enables you to select the text input
method; They are – Smart ABC/ abc/Abc, Multitap ABC/abc/Abc, and Numeric input.
• Greeting text: Let you set your own greeting message when you power ON the phone.
• Shortcut: Assign shortcuts as per your requirements to specific keys.
• Dedicated key: This option helps you dedicate/map certain key features of the phone with the Directional keys (UP/DOWN/LEFT/ RIGHT) of the phone. At anytime you can change the mapping and select a new feature from the list of features available.
• Auto update of date and time:
This feature automatically updates the date and time on the phone,

Display settings
Under Display settings, you can set a host of different characteristics of the phone. Like:
• Wallpaper: Set favorite wallpaper
on the main screen or your phone.
Screen saver: Let you set an image
as a screen saver.
• Show Date and Time: Enable you
to see the date and time on the idle screen.
• LCD Backlight: You can set the
Brightness of the screen and also set the time of the brightness.
Network settings
Network settings provide user the option to select a desired network and addition of a new network to the network list. The network setup gives you the following options:
• SIM1/2 Network settings: The option available under network settings are:

Security settings
Under Security settings, we have the following options available:
• SIM1/2 security settings
o SIM1/2 lock: Select OK key

require you to input a password when the mobile phone is switched on. Otherwise, the SIM card is unavailable.
o Fixed dial: You can restrict the
call from your phone by making a fixed dialing list that allows only numbers on that list to be dialled from the phone.
o Barred dial: Barred Dialing is a
SIM card/Network dependant feature If your operator supports it, then you can use the facility in the phone.
o Change password: Change
Password option gives you the options to change PIN, PIN2 password.
Mobile tracker
Mobile tracker helps track your stolen phone. If anyone tries using a different SIM card with your device, the device shall automatically SMS the number of this SIM to a maximum of two predefined mobile numbers.
To activate Mobile Tracker, go to
Settings Mobile Tracker. The Input Password
screen displays. Enter the default password as “0000” to display the Mobile Tracker screen.
In the Mobile Tracker screen
1. Change status to On.
2. Press Change Password sub-menu

3. Press Receive Stolen SMS number
and enter two valid mobile numbers under Number 1 and Number 2. Whenever a new SIM card is inserted in your device its number shall be automatically sent to the phone numbers you entered in Number 1 and Number 2 fields as a text message. The default password for mobile tracker is “0000.” If someone inserts another SIM card in your mobile, you will receive an SMS to the assigned number from the new SIM card to know who is using your mobile.
Long Distance Control
Use “For information on setting up Long Distance Control, please refer to steps 1 to 3 from the “Mobile Tracker” section earlier.
Once you have received the mobile number of the SIM inserted in your stolen device, take any mobile phone and send commands as text messages to retrieve phonebook data, copy messages, format the phone and so forth.”

Phone lock
Phone Lock protects your phone from any unauthorized usage or unauthorized access to information stored in the phone. When phone lock is activated, the phone would ask for the phone lock code every time you power-on the phone. Enter the lock code (default as 0000) to use the phone. You can simply unlock the phone by pressing Menu

Keypad lock
Keypad lock automatically locks the keypad after a preset time interval. You can set the time from 5 seconds to 5 minutes.
Data security
By entering the password (default as
0000), you can protect your Phone book, Call history, SMS, MMS and File manager data.
Change password
Change password option provide you the option to change Phone lock password and Data security password.
Restore factory settings
Selecting this option will ask you to enter the password to restore the phone to factory settings. The default password is set as 0000.

Phonebook
Save and update contact information, such as phone numbers, or e-mail addresses of your contacts. Add an image or a personal ringing tone to a contact. You can also create contact groups, which allow you to communicate with several contacts at the same time, and send contact information (business cards) to or receive it from compatible devices. The options available are:

Use Quick Search to search a contact just by entering the first few letters in the contact’s name. As you type, all matching contacts display as a list, use the navigation keys to select the required contact, and press the Dial key to initiate a call to this contact.

Alternatively, enter any part of the
name of a contact, and press Options followed by Search and Input method. The list of matching contacts display as a list. Use the navigation keys to select the required contact, and press the Dial key to initiate a call to this contact. You may also choose to send an SMS or MMS, delete the contact, and delete or move the contact between the SIM and phone memory.
Add New Contacts
To add a contact:
1. Press Menu Phonebook Add New Contacts, and choose the
location where you want to store this contact. Your options are phone or SIM cards memory.
2. Select Name and enter a name for the contact.

3. Similarly, you can also specify company Number, Home number, Company name, E-mail address, Office number and so forth.
NOTE: If you choose to store the contact on SIM memory, you can only enter a Name and a Number for the contact. Other details such as company name, e-mail address, or alternate phone numbers cannot be specified.
Copy or Delete
You can copy or delete all contacts in the phonebook to the phone or SIM card memory. You can also choose to selectively copy or delete contacts.
Caller Groups
Create a caller group to send the same SMS to multiple contacts, without having to compose the message separately for each contact.
Extra number
It has the following options:
• SIM1/2 owner number: You can
Edit or Erase the owner number as required.
• SOS number: The phone gives
you an option to dial numbers for contacting in case of any emergency.
Phonebook Settings
Select Menu Phonebook Phonebook Settings. The available
settings are:
• Memory status: View used/
available memory for the SIM cards and Phone.
• Fields: Select the information type
you want to store for each contact.

To access this menu, press Menu in Idle mode and select Organizer. The available options are:
Bluetooth
You can communicate with other compatible device through wireless Bluetooth connection. Compatible devices may include; Mobile Phones, Personal Computers, Bluetooth headsets. Via Bluetooth, you can send or receive pictures, videos or music files. The available options are;
• Activate Bluetooth: Select power on to activate Bluetooth and Power off to deactivate it. Bluetooth needs to be activated to perform all aforementioned functions.
• Search handsfree device: Locates other Bluetooth activated audio devices in the vicinity.
• My device: It is a list of devices,
which have been paired with your phone before.
• Active device: Locates active
Bluetooth devices in the vicinity.
• Settings: You can set Mobile Phone
Bluetooth. The available option are:
o Visibility: Set the Visibility of
the Bluetooth.
o Device name: Change the
Bluetooth device name.
o Authentication: Authentication
while Bluetooth connection.
o Set audio path: To set whether
the audio to be transfer to headset or stay at phone while Bluetooth audio connected.

o FTP Setting: Set the shared
folder of the FTP.
• My Bluetooth: Provides information about Device name, address and Bluetooth profiles.

Calendar
You can use the calendar to keep track of important meetings. To access calendar press Menu You can select year, month and date using direction keys. On a selected date you can select to view:

• Add task: Add a task to the selected

• Go to date: Enter a date, and then
press OK to go to a specific date for entry/edit/viewing of task for that date.

Alarm
Select Menu Organizer Alarm
Set the alarm to ring at a specific date and time. Select Edit to access the following sub-options:
• Status: Set alarm on or off.
• Time: Set the alarm at the time, you
wish to ring the alarm.
• Repeat: Select the repeat format of the alarm whether you wish to ring the alarm every day, or at specific day.
• Snooze: Set the duration (in minutes) after, which the alarm should ring again to remind you of an event.
• Alert type: Set the alert type of the alarm whether you wish the phone
to vibrate or play a sound file.
Calculator
Your phone comes with a built-in conversion application. You can use it for calculations that we perform on a daily basis, such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
E-book reader
The E-book reader can read .txt electronic documents. You can connect the phone via a USB line to a PC and then place .txt documents in the Ebook folder on the phone or the T-Flash card. Choose Menu reader, find a .txt document and then select Open E-Book to directly read the .txt document.

World clock can be used to know the time in various cities across the world. You can see a world map and immediate time in those cities using world clock. Select

Unit converter
Use this feature for the converted units of weight, length.
Currency converter
Choose Menu Organizer Currency Converter, selects OK, and then set
the exchange rate. Select one of the displayed options, Input the change rate, and then select OK. The exchange rate will be kept in the memory till you input a new change rate to replace it. To convert between currencies, input the currency to be converted and then select OK.
Laser Pointer
This device is having Laser Pointer. You can select time in seconds to open the laser pointer.
Note: Lasers can cause eye injuries, and may lead to blindness.
