Disinfecting agents for bathing water
The Victory Spa brand producer recommends application of the following agents to maintain a clean
bath:
- A liquid bactericide for baths with hydromassage - used in baths with automatic disinfection system
(OVS-06 to Tornado SMS systems). The agent is dosed directly into water before bathing. It is
absolutely nondetrimental for human health.
- A bactericide in quickly dissolving tablets for baths with hydromassage without automatic disinfection
(OVS-01 to OVS-04 systems). The agent has to be used before each bath. It is absolutely nondetrimental for human health.
2. Carrying out disinfection.
a) With help of antibacterium liquid for whirlpools with automatic
disinfection systems available for OVS-06, OVS-GI and OVS-GII, Sirocco,
Typhoon, Tornado, Tornado SMS systems only.
Choose of disinfection type
There are two basic type of disinfection: disinfection before the bath and disinfection after the bath.
The type of disinfection has to be choosed before filling the whirlpool in.
If we assume, that we we will use option “disinfection before bath”, then after the bath we can still use
the other option.
ENGLISH
Disinfection before bath
After establishing the type of disinfection , and filling the bath in with water, in the moment when the
green diode is switched on the touch panel, the antibacterium agent will be automatically dosed into
water, and the blower automatiacally will start to work for about 30 second. When devices switch off, it
is possible to have a bath. That is completely safe for human health.
The green diode on the disinfection button flickers when is not enough disinfection liquid in the
chemical container.
Attention: In case of that after filling in the bath will not be bactericide in chemical container,
disinfection program will be stopped till the moment the liquid will be completed. If we don't have
enough bactricide to filling up the level of the liquid in the container, we could cancel disinfection by
pressing disinfection button for about 5 second.
Disinfection after bath
After establishing the type of disinfection should be pressed disinfection button. Into bathtubs will be
dosed disinfection agent. The pump and the blower will start to work sequential. When devices switch
off (after about 10 minutes) the bath should be emtied.
Water disinfection will be made when bacticide is in the chemical container. When there is to little
disinfection liquid in the container the green diode on the disinfection button flickers. Besides on the
screen will be shown inscription “E3”, and no function of hydromassage will be anable. The disinfection
liquid should be refilled.
b) With help of quickly dissolving antibacterial tablets for whirlpools whithout automatic disinfection
systems from system OVS-01 to OVS-04 only.
Before every bath should put into the water one tablet for one person. Then switch on hydromassage
devices for about 20 sec. After this time it is possible to have a bath.

Building over of the tub.
The building-in structure has to guarantee the easy access to the whirlpool components in case of after
sales service and also the proper ventilation of the space under the bath. The manufacturer guarantees
the fulfillment of the above conditions by proposing two types of solutions:
? with the acrylic masking panel - possible to remove - installation of the panel is done by its
placement behind the top edge of the tub.
The advantage of acrylic panel is easy access to the massage appliances which are under the tub.
The tub should be leveled in such a way that the gap between the panel and the floor of the room is
min 2 cm. This way the constant flow of air is provided and the massage appliances are ventilated.
? using the suggested "HydroPanel" construction. See details in a separate instruction.
Installation of the front panel
? fit small pressing-down springs as presented on the figure below,
? place the top edge of a panel under the top rim of the tub.
Note! The covering panel for Barbados baths has feet. In order to install the panel:
? slide the upper edge of the panel under the bath top,
? regulate the height of the panel feet.
In other cases of special form of building over, the following should be considered:
? ventilation of the area under the tub,
? free access to massage system devices (nozzles, pipes, air pump, water pump) the tub shall be taken
out from a tub enclosure or have an inspection opening.

A bath as a device of substantial power – frequently exceeding 2kW – must by
powered from a separate, independent circuit, protected with an vercurrent switch
according to the table
of pole number equal = number of phases + N
All baths must be connected with use of a differential switch of In=0,03A.
It can be realised as overcurrent switch with differential module.
Power supply from 2 or accordingly 3 phases is preferable in all systems where it is possible (c.f. table)
– they can be also connected into existing one-phase installations ( but this is not recommended by producer TECHNIC INDUSTRY, due to too high power ) – by connecting phase wires of bath
power lead with phase wire of power lead – accordingly higher overcurrent protection must be
applied.

MAIN CONDITIONS TO BE SATISFIED BY AN OBJECT WHERE
INSTALLATION OF A SPA BATH IS PLANNED
Requirements concerning a bathing room:
1. Adequate dimensions and height.
2. Transport holes for carrying the bath in.
3. Facility for draining water from the floor on which the bath is to be founded.
4. Facility for steam removing.
While selecting a room the following criteria should be considered:
• a bathing room must not be too small. The minimum area should be three times as large
as the area of a selected bath type with the shape approximated to a rectangular; thus it will
be possible to build a casing and enough room will be left around the bath. That minimum
area may be chosen only if is possible to build the bath in the floor.
• if the bath cannot be sunk in the floor, the room must be higher and larger (total height of
a bath on a supporting structure is about 1m) to provide easy access to the bath and make it
ENGLISH
possible to walk around in an unbent position. In that case the recommended minimum
height is about 3 m, and the recommended minimum area is 5 times larger than the bath
area approximated to a rectangular.
Minimum dimensions of transport holes result from engineering drawings of bath
models. A rectangular hole should have the following dimensions:
• A dimension: height of the bath with its rack
• B dimension: shorter of two linear dimensions (length or width) plus 10 cm
Since there is a risk of flooding the floor on which the bath is installed, the floor must
be provided with a floor drain connected with the sewage system of the building. If the
sewage plumb-line is situated above the floor, a gully of dimensions of 50 x 50 x 50 cm must
be constructed and a pump of capacity of at least 8 m /h (provided with a floating sensor and
3
connected with the sewage system) should be installed.
A multi-person SPA bath is an relaxing object with water of temperature of 35-40 C. Due to
o
that a large quantity of steam is emitted in the bathing room. To reduce evaporation the room
temperature must be about 24-25 C and a mechanical pressure and exhaust ventilation system
should be installed. If the bath is not used, the water temperature should be 25 C. The air
o
o
relative humidity should be 60-70 %. If it is not possible, a steam condenser should be
installed to keep constant air humidity, reduce the risk of damage of walls and the ceiling
resulting from excessive air humidity. If the building is air-conditioned the steam condenser
need not be installed.

1. Install the bath in a way allowing for access to fittings (jets, pipe casing, lamp, sucking heads),
2. Minimum dimensions of inspection manhole: 60 x 60 cm,
3. Space under the basin ought to be ventilated.
Provide an easy access to all the elements installed inside the basin as, in case of a failure, it will be easy to repair
or replace such parts The manhole may be situated in the floor (bath built in the floor on bath enclosure) or on
bath enclosure (bath placed on the floor and enclosed). If the machine room directly adheres to the bathroom,
it is possible to prepare a 60 x 60 cm square hole in the separating wall.
Minimum dimensions of the manhole result from possibility of an easy entrance and removing the element to
be repaired.
The temperature under the bath is lower than the temperature of the bathroom. This may result in steam
condensation and humidity accumulation under the bath. The risk can be eliminated if the space under the bath
is connected to the other room or the exteriors of the building (air grate, duct) and the wet air is removed to
the building ventilating system.
Requirements for a technical room assigned for equipment installation:
1. Distance of the room from the bathroom,
2. Level of the technical room,
3. Dimensions of the machine room,
4. Other utilities of the machine room.
It is recommended to install the accompanying equipment in a separate room (thus noise in
the bathroom is reduced, it is easy to operate the equipment and to supply fresh air necessary
for the equipment). A free access for maintenance and service of the filter, the chemicals
feeding system, valves etc. should be provided. If the distance to the bathroom is large, it is
necessary to use pipes of larger diameters and pumps of larger power, which results in a
higher price of the bath and increase of the energy consumption.
The distance between the machine room and the bath should not exceed 10 m.
Baths for private use are provided with a standard pallet of dimensions of 100 x 150 cm. That
pallet includes all equipment necessary for proper operation of the bath (together with the
sand filter). Minimum dimensions of the machine room in that case is 1.5 x 2.0 m, i.e. 3 m
(if the equalizing tank is to be installed in the machine room, the room area must be larger by 2 m ).
2
2
Baths for public use require a sand filter of the diameter of 120 cm and the height of 230 cm.
Due to that appropriate transport facilities must be provided. The equipment of the
hydromassage and filtration system, except for the sand filter, is located on a 100 x 150 cm
tray. Minimum dimensions of the machine room in that case is 3 x 2.0 m, i.e. 6 m
(if the equalizing tank is to be installed in the machine room, the room area must be larger by
min. 3 m ).
2
20
2
It is recommended to install the balance tankas close to the bath as possible. Thus pipe of the 110 mm diameter
for transporting water from the bath gutter to the tank may be short. A sewage system connection of 50 mm
diameter should be prepared at the place of future installation of the balance tank(tank emergency overflow).
If the balance tankis to be installed near the bath, one of the dimensions of the bathroom must be increased.
Note: A free access to the top and the water level measuring system of the balance tankmust
be provided because of periodical cleaning. Balance tankshould be situated in such a way that
there is a gravitational water flow from overflow gutter to balance tank(outlet from overflow
gutter should be located above balance tank– see the figure below).
Example of correct connection of bath and equalising tank
If a system of automatic chemicals feeding is installed (it is required for public objects) a small room
ENGLISH
(1.20 x 1.20 m) should be prepared for a chlorinator. It should be provided with an individual ventilating
system. A chemicals storage should be built, too
The room must be ventilated to provide fresh air to the equipment (cooling of pump driving engines, air for air
massage, cooling of control boxes and contactors) and to ensure its long life. Mechanical pressure and exhaust
ventilation system with an inlet grate and exhaust fan are recommended.
The machine room must be provided with a floor drain and a sewage system connection of 75 mm diameter.
The floor drain is used to remove water from the machine room floor (in case of maintenance work or a
breakdown).
If the sewage plumb line is situated above the floor, a 50 x 50 x 50 cm gully must be constructed, whereas a pump
provided with a floating sensor and connected with the sewage system should be installed there. A standard
filtering system has been designed to enable emptying the system and cleaning the sand filter with the filtering
pump, so the sewage terminal of the 75 mm diameter may be located above the machine room floor level.
Appropriate 400 V 3~ power supply should be provided in the machine room using a cable 5 x 4 mm through a
2
differential current breaker 25 A / FHASE located on a bracket of the machine room - Spa bath with a 9 kW
heater. If aheat exchanger is used Appropriate 400 V 3~ power supply should be provided in the machine room
using a cable 5 x 4 mm through a differential current breaker 16 A located on a bracket of the machine room.
2
Maximum power consumption of Spa bath with a 9 kW heater is 13 kW, including heat exchanger 4 kW.
If a heat exchanger is to be used, pipes of 1" diameter supplying and draining working medium to the building
heating system should be connected to the room assigned for the machine room. The pipes should be ended
with straight-run cut-off valves and the system should also include a circulating pump CO (recommended
capacity 12 m / h).

1.Water supply connection.
The sewage pipe is to be installed in a regular way, the outlet pipe of a standard diameter 50mm.
NOTICE! The tub is provided with the sewage 50 mm outlet pipe.
Every Victory Spa bath requires a set of taps or mixer in order to be filled with water. A wall mounted
mixer or deck mounted mixer (fitted in the shaded area on the bath rim of the individual bath
diagrams). Alternatively, every Victory Spa bath with a whirlpool has a water inlet fitting located on
the piping system to allow the bath to be filled through the hydromassage jets, although this must be
controlled by an external mixer.
Another solution is the installation of an overflow-waste fitting with an integral spout which may be
preinstalled in our factories.
2.Power supply connection.
The bath should be connected to the power supply system by an authorised electrician. The
connection to the power supply system is to be realised according to the EN-60335-1 standard,
according to the bath service manual. If the bath is located in a bathroom corner, draw the power
lead to the corner with an approximately 1.5 meter reserve. In the case of a detached bath, draw the
lead directly under the bath with an approximately 1.5 meter reserve.
It is recommended that bath installation (hydraulic and electric connection) as well as it s first startup is realised by an installation company certified by Technic Industry.

1.Hydraulischer Anschluß.
Der hydraulische Anschluß soll standardmäßig durchgeführt werden.
Empfohlener Abflußrohrdurchmesser: 50 mm.
Achtung!
In
