In 1884, Karl Elsener opened his cutlery workshop in Ibach, Switzerland. In 1891, he obtained the first contract to supply the Swiss Army with a “Soldier’s Knife.” Six years later, he invented the “Swiss Officer’s Knife” which was officially registere d on June 12, 1897. Since that time, the Victorinox Original Swiss Army Knife has become well-kno wn in more than 100 countries for precision, quality, functionality and versatility.

If your multi-tool has a manufacturer’s defect covered by our warranty, we will either repair or replace it, at our option, without charge. Please send to the address below. Include a brief description of the issue along with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address (optional) with your return. In California and other states so requiring, you may return the multi-tool through your place of purchase.
A damaged multi-tool not covered by the warranty can be repaired. Note that repair costs and handling charges may apply. If so, you will be notified prior to any service. Please send to the address below. Include a brief description of the issue along with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address (optional) with your return.

REPAIRS
Victorinox guarantees all multi-tools to be of first class steel and provides a lifetime guarantee against any defects in material and workmanship. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by abnormal or unreasonable use of any of the implements (including repairs or alterations other than by our Authorized Repair Center).
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Additional rights may be available under the laws of your State or Province. It is in place of all other warranties, including warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and warranty of merchantability and excludes any liability for incidental or consequential damages.

SWISSCARD™WITH MONEY CLIP
To remove and replace the battery
With light switch in the off position, gently pop switch back and out with thumb (see illustration 1).
Pull out battery a ssembly, replace battery, and return assembl y to SwissCard (see illustration 2).
Operating Light
To turn light on, push slide switch away fr om you wi th thumb ( see illustration 3). To turn light off, pull switch toward you with thumb.
The SwissCardTMLite utilizes a 3 volt CR1025 lithium battery.
The SwissCard Quattro replaces the Scissors of the regular SwissCard with a Four-headed Screwdr iver Bit, incorporatin g Phi llips Screwdrivers 00-0, 1-2 and Slotted 3mm, 5mm.
SWISSCARD™QUATTRO
The SwissCard Lite has all the features of a regular SwissCard replacing the nailfile with a magnifying glass, and the addition of Slotted 3mm, 5mm and Phillips Screwdrivers 00-0, 1-2 and an LED (light emitting diode).
