TIME, DATE AND CHRONOGRAPH FUNCTIONS (Fig. 1)
TIME, DATE AND CHRONOGRAPH FUNCTIONS
The crown has 3 positions :
1. Normal position, occasional winding
2. Setting the date
3. Setting the hours and minutes,
stop-seconds
SETTING THE TIME :
1. Wind the movement if necessary.
2. Pull the crown out to position 3.
The seconds hand will stop.
Remember the date advances at
12:00 midnight, not 12:00 noon.
3. Turn the crown to position the hands
to the desired time.
4. Push the crown back into position 1.
SETTING THE DATE:
1. Wind the movement if necessary.
2. Pull the crown out to position 2.
3. Turn the crown clockwise until the
desired date is reached.
Note : the date cannot be corrected
between 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
4. Push the crown back into position 1.
CIRCULAR SLIDE RULE (Fig. 2)
I = Fixed units of measurement (engraved on the watch case)
II = Rotating inner bezel (slide rule)
X = Screw for adjusting the rotating inner bezel (II)
EXAMPLE : How can I multiply 8 × 12 ?
1. Always use the red number 10 as a starting point for your calculations.
2. Adjust the inner bezel (II) using the screw (X) until the red number 10 is
aligned with 80 (for 8) on the outer ring (I).
3. Find number 12 on the inner bezel (II).
Read off the number on the outer ring (I) that is aligned with the 12 on the inner
bezel (II) for your result (in this case, 96).

Die Krone verfügt über 3 Positionen :
1. Ausgangsposition, okkasioneller
Handaufzug
2. Datumseinstellung
3. Stunden- und Minuteneinstellung,
Stoppsekunde
EINSTELLEN DER UHRZEIT :
1. Ziehen Sie, falls notwendig,
das Uhrwerk auf.
2. Ziehen Sie die Krone in Position
Der Sekundenzeiger bleibt stehen.
Vergessen Sie nicht, dass das
Datum bei 0.00 Uhr und nicht bei
12.00 Uhrmittags umspringt.
3. Drehen Sie die Krone, um die Zeiger
auf die gewünschte Zeit zu stellen.
4. Drücken Sie die Krone wieder in
Position 1.
DATUMSEINSTELLUNG :
1. Ziehen Sie, falls notwendig, das
Uhrwerk auf.
2. Ziehen Sie die Krone in Position 2.
3. Drehen Sie die Krone im
Uhrzeigersinn, bis das gewünschte
Datum erreicht ist.
Hinweis : Eine Korrektur des Datums
zwischen 20.00 Uhr und 2.00 Uhr ist
nicht möglich.
4. Drücken Sie die Krone wieder
in Position 1.
RING-RECHENSCHIEBER (Abb. 2)
I = Fixierte Masseinheiten (eingraviert in das Uhrengehäuse)
II = Verstellbarer innerer Drehring (Rechenschieber)
X = Schraube zum Verstellen des inneren Drehrings (II)
BEISPIEL: Wie multipliziere ich 8 × 12?
1. Die rote Zahl 10 dient stets als Ausgangspunkt für Ihre Berechnungen.
2. Stellen Sie den inneren Drehring (II) mithilfe der Schraube (X) so, dass die rote
Zahl 10 der 80 (für 8) auf dem äusseren Ring (I) gegenübersteht.
3. Suchen Sie die Zahl 12 auf dem inneren Ring (II).
Prüfen Sie dann, welche Zahl auf dem äusseren Ring (I) der 12 auf dem inneren
Ring (II) gegenüberliegt. Dies ist Ihr Ergebnis (in diesem Fall 96).
