Spring and Guard Replacement Kit

General Information
The Arcair N-7500 Replacement Kit includes:
Extension Insulator (94-433-190A)
These instructions are supplied to ensure the proper installation of the replacement kit. Thoroughly read the instructions first, before attempting the installation.
Installation Procedure
1. Position Torch Head into secured location. (i.e., table mounted vice)
2. Remove molded locknut and air nozzle from front of Torch Head.
Check white teflon o-rings on back of air nozzle
to be sure they are in proper working order.

B. V-block Assembly Removal
1. Slide v-block out
2. Reposition Torch Head to have visible access of the bottom side.
3. Remove 4 screws on bottom side of Torch Head (3/32 allen wrench).
Inspect bottom of Torch Head for defects which
may have occurred during operation.
4. Remove air inlet housing from inside top of torch.
Be sure the orange o-ring is in place and working
order.
5. Holding nozzle spring and guard in place loosen each screw (5/64 allen wrench).
6. Remove nozzle spring and guard and replace with the new nozzle spring and guard.
When inserting replacement be sure it is seated
completely in before tightening screws. Do not
overtighten.
7. Once completed, reposition Torch Head so top side of the torch is visible.
8. Insert spring and guard into top of housing.
3. Remove two button head screws from metal shroud.
NOTE: White teflon o-rings are located on back­side of each screw to insulate shroud from Torch Head. As you remove screws, o-rings will drop to bottom of shroud. Locate and set aside.

Take flat head screw driver and pull guard toward
Insert screw driver
front of Torch Head so the nozzle air inlet housing sit down properly.
9. Check back of air tube to be sure it is seated inside the air inlet housing. Once seated properly replace all four screws.
C. V-block Assembly Replacement
1. Holding air inlet nozzle, locate two screws on bottom side so they are facing outward.
2. Take a flat head screw driver and insert through v-block assembly into Torch Head, lifting up on nozzle spring and guard.
D. Shroud Replacement
1. Locate two screws, two o-rings and shroud.
2. Insert both screws into shroud, placing o-rings on backside.
3. Finger tighten screws, making sure o-rings do not drop. Tighten completely. Do not overtighten.
4. Locate air nozzle and locknut. Be sure air nozzle o-ring is seated against the v-block properly. Tighten lock nut.
This completes replacement of damaged spring and guard.
This allows you to insert v-block and seat it into
Torch Head properly.
NOTE: Be sure indexed white pin and groove are lined up correctly when inserting v-block.
