IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. This appliance is designed for domestic use only. No responsibility is accepted for damage resulting from use non-compatible with the instructions.
2. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord shows any signs of damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be repaired by a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Improper repairs may place the user at serious risk.
3. Always handle the power cord with care. Do not pull or strain the power cord. The power cord may never be folded or pinched. Always pull the plug to disconnect the power cord, never pull on the cord to disconnect it.
4. Do not use the cord as a handle. Do not pull the cord near sharp corners. Do not let the cable resting on a hot surface or hanging on the edge of the table.
5. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
6. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
7. Do not use any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. It may cause injury and device destruction.
8. Do not use with a voltage converter.
9. Do not use an extension cord with the appliance.
10. The device should always be disconnected from the mains when not in use. Always switch OFF and unplug the appliance if it is not in use before moving, cleaning, when changing fittings and storing it.
11. Before disconnecting the device from the socket, set the control switch in position OFF.
12. Do not drop or insert any objects into any opening.
13. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
14. The device is not a game. Children must be under supervision when they are near the device.
15. Never eject any accessory when the appliance is in operation.
16. Ensure fingers are kept well away from moving parts of the appliance.
17. Only use the supplied mixing bowl. Do not use with an empty bowl.
18. Never freeze ice cream that has been fully or partially defrosted.
19. Any ice cream or sorbet containing raw ingredients should be consumed within one week. Ice cream tastes best when fresh.
20. Ice cream or sorbet that contains raw or partially cooked eggs should not be given to young children, pregnant women, elderly people or people who feel sick.
21. To prevent freezer burns, always ensure that your hands are protected when handling the bowl, especially when first removed from the freezer.
22. If the freezing solution appears to be leaking from the bowl, stop using the appliance. The freezing solution is non toxic.
23. Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents.
24. Read all the instructions carefully before you use the appliance and keep them for future use.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

ATTENTION!
Do not place the appliance on, near or in microwave oven, electric oven or
gas oven. Keep the appliance away from flammable objects or other heat source.
Do not use outdoors or where aerosol spray products are being used or
where oxygen is being administrated.
Do not use while you are in contact with water.
Never use the appliance in any place with high humidity and high temperature
level.
Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub of sink.
Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Just pull the plug off.
The device should be used only by adults.
Always supervise the device when it is in use.
Always leave enough space around the device when it is in use, among other
items.
Do not use the appliance near the edge of a bench or table top where it may
fall off.
Do not place the device near flammable materials such as furniture, pillows,
fabrics, curtains, etc. Do not place the appliance on any heat sensitive surface when hot or when plugged in.

Do not store the appliance while it is still warm or cold.
Do not move the appliance while it is operating.
Please note that electrical parts are electrically live when the appliance is
connected to the power supply, even when the control switch is off .
BEFORE USE
1. Ensure the packaging of this appliance is disposed of properly as all materials
are recyclable.
2. Keep plastic bags away from babies and children.
3. After you remove the device from its packing, clean it with a damp cloth.
4. Never put the appliance under running water, in order to clean it.
5. Ensure that the main voltage rating of your power supply corresponds to the
voltage requirements of the appliance
6. Place the device on a flat and dry surface.
7. Make sure that all parts of the device are properly mounted before using the
appliance.
8. Before using the device, please unfold the cord completely and make sure that
it does not show any sign of damage.
9. If you notice that there is a little smell or smoke going out of the appliance
during the first use, do not worry, it is normal.
10. Place the freezer bowl into the freezer at least 8 eight hours before use.
11. Prepare the ice cream or sorbet mix you want to make and allow the mix to
cool in the refrigerator.
STORAGE
Store the unit in a dry place not reachable for children.
Never wind the power cord around the motor after use as the warmth of
the motor may cause damage to the power cord

Make sure that the devise is not connected to the power supply
Useful Advice
In order to achieve better results use fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Dairy products with a high fat content (e.g. crème fraîche, mascarpone) result
in a more creamy consistency.
When following recipes in which the sugar is not dissolved make sure you use
very fine sugar. Sugar will make the ice cream firmer and at the same time prevent the formation of large ice crystals.
When using frozen fruit, it does not need to be completely defrosted. For
example, it is easier to puree fruit when still half frozen.
The addition of alcohol to recipes inhibits the freezing process.
For best results always refrigerate the ingredients before making ice cream.
The ice cream produced should be a soft, so it can easily be served.
In case you do not want to serve the ice cream immediately, or if you wish to
firm the ice cream before serving, you can transfer it to a separate container and store it in the freezer
24 hours beforehand
Freeze the bowl
Always make sure the freezer bowl is thoroughly dry and clean before placing it
in the freezer.
Place the freezer bowl in a plastic bag before freezing.
The freezer bowl should be placed in a freezer that is operating at a temperature
equal or less than -18° Centigrade for 24 hours before use.
4 hours beforehand
Prepare the ice mix according to the recipe
Place the mix you have prepared in the refrigerator for approx. 4 hours.
Processing the ice cream in the ice cream maker.
Do not add the prepared mix to the bowl until you have assembled the machine
and switched it on. Otherwise the mix will freeze on the inside walls of the bowl.
Work swiftly so the bowl and mix remain as cold as possible.
Fit the power unit into the lid a “click” sound will be heard indicating that both
parts have locked into place.
Fit the paddle into the power unit until locked into place.
Remove the freezer bowl from the freezer.

Lower the assembled unit (lid/power unit/ paddle) into the freezer bowl and turn
clockwise to lock into position.
Press the On/Off button to switch on the appliance
Important : Do not stop and start the machine during the freezing process, as
the mixture may freeze when coming in contact with the bowl and prevent the movement of the paddle.
Important : To avoid the even of motor overheating, the rotation direction of the
paddle will change if the mixture becomes too thick. If the direction of rotation continues to change, then turn off the appliance by pressing the “On/Off” button.
Add the ice cream or sorbet mix into the bowl.
Attention : Do not fill the bowl up to the top with the mixture. Allow at least 4cm
distance from the upper surface of the bowl as the mixture will increase in volume during freezing.
Allow the mixture to turn until frozen or the desired consistency is reached. This
can take up to 40 minutes.
When the ice cream is ready, switch off the appliance and then unplug it.
Remove the power unit with the lid from the bowl and serve the ice cream.
Important : Do not use metal utensils to remove the mix from the bowl.
Important : Do not remove the freezer bowl from the freezer until you are ready
to make ice cream.
RECIPES Banana ice cream
Ιngredients 1 large ripe banana 200ml skimmed milk 100ml heavy cream 50gr confectioner’s sugar
Mash the banana until smooth. Mix in the milk, heavy cream and sugar. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running. Allow to freeze until the desired consistency is achieved.
Chocolate mint ice cream
Ingredients 200ml skimmed milk 200ml heavy cream 50gr confectioner’s sugar 50gr grated chocolate Few drops of peppermint extract
Place the milk and sugar into a saucepan. Place it over a low heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Then allow the mixture to cool down. Stir the cream and

peppermint essence into the cooled milk. Pour the mixture into freezer bowl with the paddle running. When the mixture starts to freeze add the grated chocolate from the lid opening. Allow the mixture to freeze until the desired consistency is achieved.
Strawberry ice cream
Ingredients 20gr fresh strawberries
100gr confectioner’s sugar 100ml heavy cream Lemon juice from 1/2 small lemon Mash the strawberries until they become smooth. In a bowl add the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running. Allow the mixture to freeze until the desired consistency is achieved.
Custard based vanilla ice cream
Ingredients 20ml skimmed milk
200ml heavy cream 50gr confectioner’s sugar 2 egg yolks Few drops of vanilla extract
Place the egg yolks and sugar in a glass bowl and beat together. Pure the milk in a saucepan and bring it to boiling point. Then pour the milk into the egg mixture beating continuously. Pure the mixture to the pan and stir constantly with a spoon until the mixture thickens and forms a film over the back of the spoon. Do not allow the mixture to boil or the mixture will separate. Remove it from the heat and allow it to cool down. Stir in the cream and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running. Allow it to freeze until the desired consistency is achieved.
Raspberry frozen yoghurt
Ingredients 200gr fresh raspberries 100gr confectioner’s sugar 200ml natural yoghurt
Place the raspberries in a bowl and mash them. For a smooth result remove the pips by sieving. Add the sugar and the yoghurt and mix them together. Pour the

mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running. Allow the mixture to freeze until the desired consistency is achieved.
Lemon sorbet
Ingredients 175gr granulated sugar
175gr water 100ml lemon juice Juice from 1/2 medium sized orange 1/2 egg white
Place the sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Bring the mixture to the boil and allow it to boil for 1 minute. Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool down. Add the orange and lemon juice. Whisk the egg white until it is almost stiff. Then put the egg white into the lemon mixture and stir. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running. Allow it to freeze until the desired consistency is achieved
CLEANNING
Always clean the unit after use as it is in contact with food.
Before cleaning your device, ensure the power cord is unplugged from the
power outlet
Allow the appliance to cool down before you start to clean it.
Wipe the housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid intrusion of water into
the drive systems to avoid damage and polish with a soft dry cloth.
Allow the freezer bowl to reach room temperature before cleaning.
Wash the inside of the bowl with warm soapy water and then rinse and dry
thoroughly.
Note : Make sure that the freezer bowl is completely clean and dry before
placing it in the freezer.
Do not immerse the freezer bowl in water or any other liquid.
Remove the lid and the paddle from the power unit. Wash them with warm
soapy water. Then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Never submerge the appliance in water.
Do not use any abrasive detergents or alcohol for cleaning any part of the
appliance.
Ensure to let dry all parts completely after cleaning and before using again.
Do not use sharp objects, hard brushes or oven cleaners to clean the appliance.
Do not clean any part of the appliance in the dishwasher.
