To ensure proper operation and to maintain the lifespan and the utmost accuracy

of the scale, please read this manual carefully before use.

Display Symbols and Use:
Fat: Shown on the display as % (indication in percent)
Water: Shown on the display as % (indication in percent).
Muscle: Shown in the display in %
Bone: Shown on the display in Kg
Cm: User sizes ranging from 100 to 200cm can be saved.

Symbol for female user.
Symbol for male user.

Kg: Weight unit (kilogramme).
Age: Appears on the display screen when the users age is displayed or should be entered.
St: Weight in stones.
Lb: Weight in pounds.
Underfat: Is displayed when the body measures too low in fat.
Healthy: Is displayed when the body measures in the normal range for height, gender and

age.

Overfat: Is displayed when the body measures an elevated body fat.
Obese: Is displayed when the body measures high body fat.
KCAL: Is displayed of food calories

NORMAL WEIGHTING OPERATION

1. Find the battery holder at the back of the scale, open the
cover, install the battery into the holder and cover it back
(make sure the positive pole of the battery upwards).

2. Put the scale on a flat floor, make sure every foot touches
the floor.

3. Tap the scale gently to power on. When the display shows

0.0 it is ready for use.

4. Stay still on the glass platform. During weighting, indication
will be flashing on the display. Wait till the indications stop
flashing. Your weight will be displayed for about 10
seconds, and then after 30 seconds the unit will switch off
automatically.

OPERATION FOR BODY FAT AND BODY HYDRATION CALCULATION

PROGRAMMING PERSONAL DATA

▪ Gently press the surface of the scale with your foot to switch it on.
▪ Press the Set button and use Up/ down button to find the memory number under

which you wish to save your personal data (10 memories available). Then press the
Set button to confirm your choice.

▪ Select the weight unit using the Up/ buttons and confirming the chosen option by

pressing the Set button.

▪ Select male or female by using up/ down buttons and confirming by pressing Sett

button.

▪ Log in your age using the up/down buttons and confirming by using Set button.
▪ Log in your height using the up/ down buttons and confirming by using Set button.

These steps can be repeated to program the remaining 9 memories if desired.

CALCULATE PERCENTAGE BODY FAT

This appliance has the built-in option to calculate your percentage body fat by using
bioelectrical impedance techniques
This analysis measures the different conductivity between the muscle mass and body mass
formed by fat cells using very low-intensity electrical micro current that runs through the
lower members of the body.
The percentage body weight is calculating using the procedure described above and also
involves the following variables: height, age, sex and weight.
Also calculates muscle percentage , bone mass and the basic metabolism rate.
Optimum results according to standards generally applied to adults:

Men: 14 – 24%
Women: 20 – 30%

Any results bellow these indicators are considered underweight and an higher then these is
considered overweight.
In the event of doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist for clarification.

SYSTEM FOR MEASURING PERCENTAGE BODY FAT

▪ Gently press the surface of the scale with your foot to switch it on.
▪ Use the up/down buttons to access the memory code under which your personal

data have already been saved.

▪ Wait a few seconds until your personal data appears on screen briefly – sex, age,

height and weight unit.

▪ Wait for the display to show “0,0 kg” and then the scale is ready for use.
▪ Place yourself in the centre of the platform avoiding abrupt movements, maintaining

immobile and without touching other objects, until the appliance shows your weight.

▪ Do not move and the percentage body fat will be displayed on screen.
▪ After stepping down the “Auto shutdown” system will turn it off automatically.

INSTALL OR REPLACE BATTERIES

The scale is powered by 2x1.5V AAA batteries (included in the packing)

Α-Before using the scale for the first time, please open the battery cover at the back and
put the batteries in the battery case , by taking in consideration the correct polarity
(please check the diagram below) then close the battery cover tight.

Β- In case of battery replacement, please open the battery cover at the back take off the
old batterie and put the new ones in the battery case , by taking in consideration the
correct polarity (please check the diagram below) then close the battery cover tight.

CAUTION

• Pregnant women and persons with medical implants such as heart pacemakers,

respiration apparatus or electrocardiographs must not use this product.

• Please take off shoes before taking measurement to avoid scraping or scratching the

glass platform.

• The glass platform may be pretty slippery when wet, thus please make

sure both the glass and your feet are dry before using.

• Please use soft tissue with alcohol or glass cleaner to clean the surface

if it is dirty. No soap or other chemicals. Keep it away from water, heat and extreme
coldness.

• The scale is high precision measuring device. Never jump or stomp on the scale or

disassemble it and please handle it carefully to avoid dropping when moving it.

• The scale is for home use only and not suitable for professional use.

• Please check the battery if the scale malfunctions. Change a new piece if necessary.

• To ensure accuracy, we suggest you take measurement at a fixed time every day

(e.g.7:00-9:00).

• Use this electrical appliance as described in this manual. Any other use is not

recommended by the manufacturer and could have a detrimental effect on the durability
of the appliance and/or the safety of the user.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory, mental capability, or has a lack of experience and knowledge unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not touch or play with the

appliance.

• Ensure the scale is placed on a hard level surface to get an exact weight reading.

• Remove: shoes, socks and any un-necessary clothing prior to stepping on the scale.

• It is recommended that weight is checked two hours after getting out of bed.

• If you have a metal implant an accurate reading will not be obtained.

• This scale does not have any replaceable parts do not attempt to dissemble.

• Do not stand on the edges of the scale to avoid falling off.

• Never submerse the scale in water. Use an alcohol based cleaning agent to clean the

electrodes and a glass cleaner for the surface. Apply the cleaning agent to the cloth first,
not the glass surface or electrodes and avoid using soaps as this could make the glass
surface slippery.

• Do not wear shoes when standing on the scale this can damage the two electrodes.

• The warnings, precautions, in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible

conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that
common sense and caution are factors, which cannot be built into this product, but must
be supplied by the operator.

• The appliance must not be used in potentially dangerous locations such as flammable,

explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres where petrol or flammable liquids are
used or stored.

• Never operate the appliance if it has malfunctioned or has been dropped or damaged in

any way.

• For home use only. Not for professional use, the correlative parameter is reference only.

You should consult a doctor when you undertake any diet or exercise program.

Please change a new battery when” LO” appears on the LCD which indicates that the
battery is out of power.

”Err” showed on LCD indicates overload.
