Product Description
Vibra-Tite 1 46 L arge D iameter H igh Strength
Threadlocker is a r ed g eneral p urpose ad hesive f or
permanent threaded assemblies. Vibra-Tite 146 locks
fasteners 1 " an d l arger i n d iameter, s ealing a gainst
leakage an d co rrosion. I t r esists at tack fr om
lubricants and most industrial liquids and gases.
Typical Applications
Eliminates dou ble nutting a nd/or welding of c ritical
assemblies. Using V ibra-TITE 1 46 p ermits re duced
casting t hickness, an d el iminates cr acked cas tings
due to interference fit stresses. It is recommended for
larger diameter studs with coarse threads and is used
to r eclaim worn s tud h oles. P rimers ar e
recommended for large gaps and poor fitting parts.
Instructions for Use
Ensure p arts ar e cl ean, d ry and f ree f rom o il an d
grease.
Procedure for Application
Product is normally hand applied from the bottle onto
threaded parts.
Compatible Primers
Primers such as Vibra-TITE Excel 611 (Primer N) or
Excel 6 12 (P rimer T ) can be u sed. T he u se o f
primers can result in lower strength and performance
should be tested after full cure.

General Information
Storage
Product should be stored in a cool and dry location at
temperatures b etween 1 4°F ( -10°C) t o 86° F ( 30°C).
Shelf l ife is 2 years from date of manufacture when
stored at 72±8°F (22±4°C).
Note
Vibra-TITE 146 is easy to apply and color coded red
to as sist i n s election. B ecause o f i ts ch emical
resistance it is ideal for applications such as sealing
for r efrigeration e nvironments, a ir c onditioning
applications a nd p lant a nd p rocessing e quipment
using corrosive chemicals. Product conforms to MILS-46163A , ASTM D-5363, NSF.

IRRITANT: C ontains M ethacrylate E sters which
may irritate eyes, respiratory organs and skin. In case
of c ontact with the skin, w ash i mmediately w ith
plenty of water.
