Vibra-Tite® 132
Product Description
Vibra-Tite 132 is a high s trength, oil to lerant
anaerobic thread locking compound. Vibra-Tite 132
is d esigned f or t he p ermanent l ocking o f t hreaded
fasteners. The product performs on aluminum, steel,
plated fasteners, stainless steel, and special alloy
parts. Vibra-Tite 132 exhibits good temperature
stability and is solvent resistant.
Typical Applications
Vibra-Tite 132 will lo ck a nd s eal large fasteners.
Vibra-Tite 132 is u sed i n ap plications where s hock
and vibration may cause the fastener to loosen.

Compatible Primers
Primers such as Vibra-Tite Excel 6 11 (Primer N) or
Excel 612 (Primer T) can be used to speed the fixture
time of the adhesive. Fixture times can improve by as
much as 50%. The use of primers can result in lower
strength a nd performance should b e tested af ter f ull
cure.

General Information
Storage
Product should be stored in a cool and dry location at
temperatures b etween 1 4°F (-10°C) t o 86° F (30°C).
Shelf life is 2 years from date o f manufacture when
stored at 72±8°F (22±4°C).
Note
Vibra-Tite 132 is r ecommended for t hreaded
components under 1" i n di ameter. C omponents c an
be disassembled using conventional hand tools. It is
color coded red and once cured, seals and vibration
proofs the assembly giving controlled breakaway and
prevailing to rques. Product c onforms t o M IL-S46163A, ASTM D-5363.
