Product Description
Vibra-Tite 122 O il Tolerant T hreadlocker i s a
medium vi scosity, t hixotropic, a naerobic t hread
locking a dhesive f or a ll t ypes of m etal, threaded
fasteners. Cured p erformance shows co ntrolled
medium strength with good temperature and s olvent
resistance against wa ter and nonpolar solvents. This
product cures rapidly on plated, oily, metal surfaces
or inactive surfaces.
Typical Applications
Replaces l ock w ashers an d p lastic i nserts. L ocks
machine tool access bolts, studs, and hydraulic
system b olts. Used on gear bo x b olts/drive s haft,
bearing co ver cap screws, counter s unk s crews,
conveyor roller bolts and construction equipment.

temperatures b etween 14°F ( -10°C) to 86°F ( 30°C).
Shelf l ife i s 2 years from d ate o f manufacture when
stored at 72±8°F (22±4°C).

Although t his t hreadlocker is oi l t olerant, f or be st
performance, cl ean an d dry p arts t o m inimize t he
amount of s urface oi l a nd grease be fore a pplying
product.
Compatible Primers
Primers s uch as V ibra-Tite Excel 611 (Primer N) or
Excel 6 12 ( Primer T ) can be used. T he u se of
primers can result in lower strength and performance
should be tested after full cure.
