Vibra-Tite® 121
Product Description
Vibra-Tite 121 i s a medium strength, a naerobic
thread l ocking compound. Vibra-Tite 1 21 is
designed f or l ocking t hreaded f asteners t hat r equire
disassembly with standard hand t ools. T he pr oduct
performs on a luminum, s teel, pl ated pa rts, s tainless
steel, and special alloy parts. Vibra-Tite 121 exhibits
good temperature and is solvent resistant.
Typical Applications
Vibra-Tite 1 21 will lo ck a nd s eal f asteners, a nd s et
screws. Vibra-Tite 121 is used in applications where
shock and vibration may cause the fastener to loosen.

grease.
Compatible Primers
Primers such a s Vibra-Tite Excel 6 11 (Primer N) or
Excel 612 (Primer T) can be used to speed the fixture
time of the adhesive. Fixture times can improve by as
much as 50%. The use of primers can result in lower
strength a nd performance s hould be tested af ter f ull
cure.

General Information
Storage
Product should be stored in a cool and dry location at
temperatures b etween 14°F ( -10°C) to 86°F ( 30°C).
Shelf l ife is 2 years from d ate of manufacture when
stored at 72±8°F (22±4°C).
Note
Vibra-Tite 121 is r ecommended for t hreaded
components under 1" i n di ameter. C omponents c an
be disassembled using conventional hand tools. It is
color coded blue and once cured, seals and vibration
proofs the assembly giving controlled breakaway and
prevailing torques.
Product conforms to MIL-S-46163A, ASTM D-5363,
NSF.

IRRITANT: C ontains M ethacrylate E sters which
may irritate eyes, respiratory organs and skin. In case
of c ontact with t he s kin, wash immediately with
plenty of water.
