Barrel Assemblies (BAP)

Some of our FBPT Series tips require a BAP, or barrel assembly. A BAP contains a common set of optics that can
be used with multiple hollow tips. This approach makes many common tips more economical. Some tips contain
their own optics and do not require a BAP. For many of the Military / Aerospace applications, BAPs are also used in
conjunction with various guides.

FBPT Probe Tips

The FBPT Series probe tips attach to the FiberChek and FBP-P5000i Inspection Probes. Some of them
can also be connected to the FiberChek Sidewinder with an adapter for use with simplex inspection.

In addition to being used for bulkhead and patch cord inspection, the FBPT series also includes Guides.
These are typically used to inspect Military and Aerospace connectors that have multiple pins and sockets in a
single connector interface.
