Important Safety Precautions
Always follow these basic safety precautions when using your Beamer TV. This will reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.
Unplug Beamer TV from both the power outlet and the wall jack before performing care and maintenance.
Should any solid object or liquid fall into the housing, unplug Beamer TV and have it checked by qualified personnel before operating it again.
Do not use this product near water or when you are wet.
Slots and openings on the Beamer TV are for ventilat ion to prevent overheating. Do not cover them up.
Do not place Beamer TV near a heat source or in direct sunlight.
Do not disassemble Beamer TV. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Disassembly of Beamer TV w ill void your warranty.
Only use the AC power adapter included with BeamerTV.Using any other power adapter will void your warranty.

Congratulations! You have just purchased Beamer TV Vialta’s firstVideophone Station phone and television. You will now be able to add video, through your television, to the phone calls you make and receive from friends and family.
Seeing your friends and family while talking to them on the phone is easy. Follow the easy set up, make or receive a call from someone with any Beamer whole new dimension to your phone calls. It's that easy! With Beamer TV, staying in touch is more than just a voice on t he other end of the telephone l ine - it's live, full color video on your television at up to 15 frames per second. And since Beamer TV uses your regular telephone l ine, there is no additional cost to your regular phone call.

Installing your Beamer TV
You can use your Beamer TV with any home phone, including a cordless phone or a speakerphone, f or a hands-free experience. You’ll also need a television with a video input jack.
Note: Connect the t elephone line directly to your Beamer
TV;itisnot designed to be used with a PBX (Private Branch Exchange).
Installing your Beamer TV with a Si ngle-Line Phone
1) Place your Beamer TV on top of your television.
2) Connect one end of a supplied telephone cord to your
nearest telephone wall jack and the other end to the
LINE IN jack on the back of your Beamer TV.
3) Connect one end of a supplied telephone cord to your
phone and the other end to the PHONE IN jack on the back o f your Beamer TV.
4) Plug one end of the enclosed video cable into the
VIDEO OUT jack on the back of Beamer TV and the
other end into a Video input jack on your televisi on.
5) Set your television to use the correct video source.
6) Plug the AC power adapter’s pin into t he POWER IN
jack on the back of your Beamer TV.
7) Plug the power cord into a wall socket.

Your television will display t he message “Beamer TV is now ready” t o let you know when it is ready for you to place or receive a video call.

Installing your Beamer TV with a Two-Line Phone
Your Beamer TV also works with a two-line phone. Be sure toplaceandreceivevideocallsonLine1only.Ifyouare on a video call and r eceive a phone call on Line 2, Beamer TV wi ll l et the call ring through to that line. We recommend that you use another phone to answer t he call instead of putting the video call on hold. If you put your Beamer TV video call on hold to answer a new call on the second line, your video call may be disconnected.
Two-Li ne Phone with a Single Wall Jack
If you have a two-line phone that connects to a single wall jack,connectyour Beamer TV to the wall jack and to the L1 or L1/L2 jack on your two-line phone.
1) Place your Beamer TV on top of your television.
2) Connect one end of a supplied telephone cord to your
nearest telephone wall jack and the other end to the
LINE IN jack on the back of your Beamer TV.
3) Connect one end of a supplied phone cord to the L1
or L1/L2 jack of your two-line phone and the otherend to the PHO NE jack on the back of your Beamer TV.
4) Plug one end of the enclosed video cable into the
VIDEO OUT jack on the back of Beamer TV and the
other end into a Video input jack on your televisi on.
5) Set your television to the correct video input source.
6) Plug the AC power adapter’s pin into t he POWER IN
jack on the back of your Beamer TV.
7) Plug the power cord into a wall socket.

Two-Li ne Phone with a Double Wall Jack
If you have a two-line phone that connects to a double wall jack, connect your Beamer TV to Line 1 of your double wall jack, and to t he L1 or L1/L2 jack on your two-line phone.
1) Place your Beamer TV on top of your television.
2) Connect one end of a supplied telephone cord to your
nearest telephone wall jack and the other end to the
LINE IN jack on the back of your Beamer TV.
3) Connect one end of a supplied phone cord to the L1
or L1/L2 jack of your two-line phone and the otherend to the PHO NE jack on the back of your Beamer TV.
4) Plug the one end of the enclosed video cable into the
VIDEO OUT jack on the back of Beamer TV and the
other end into the Video input jack on your television.
5) Set your television to the correct video input source.

Preparing Beamer TV’ s Remote Control
Beforeusing the remote control for Beamer TV you need to remove the protecti ve cover over the battery.
1) Remove battery cover.
2) Pull plastic covering from top of battery.
3) Replace battery cover.
If you notice that the remote control is not performing as usual, the battery may need to be replaced. Replace bat­tery with same type and voltage.
