The VX-4600 CB is a dual-mode mobile radio, approved for both CB mode and
private commercial frequencies. This dual-mode radio is feature-rich with increased
signalling performance for better flexibility and improved worker safety.

Multi-purpose radio
The VX-4600 CB mobile radio can operate on both private*
(commercial frequencies) and open channels (citizen band).
This radio is robust, designed for both heavy duty commercial
and recreational use. The VX-4600 CB is ready to use in CB
mode, plus it can operate in 512 private frequencies with a
channel license purchased through your authorised Vertex
Standard reseller.
Built to perform
The VX-4600 CB is built to withstand heavy use; with its
aluminium die cast chassis and durable plastic casing. It is
impact resistant and meets military grade standards for
ruggedness. The radio and remote head are both built to
perform in a number of internal and external environments.
Versatile
If there is limited space this radio has the added benefit
of a remote mounted face plate. You can mount the face
plate in the dashboard and the main radio can be mounted
elsewhere, like concealed under a seat or behind the driver
in the cab of a truck, with no impact to your communications.

Feature rich
This radio is packed full of features, it has loud audio,
perfect for working in noisy environments. Improve
user safety with programmable options including Lone
Worker features, notifying a central control point at
timed intervals so you’re never truly alone. The radio
can also be programmed to send and receive emergency
notifications and horn alerts.
Great coverage
The VX-4600 CB has 80 CB channels, 16 programmable
receive-only channels and 512 private channel capacity
with up to 32 talk groups. It’s the perfect radio for large
networks or commercial contractors who frequently
move between job sites.
Remote mount option
If there is limited space, this radio has the added benefit
of a remote mounted faceplate. Mount the faceplate in the
dashboard and the main radio elsewhere; concealed under
a seat or behind the driver in the cab of a truck, with
no impact to your communications. The optional remote
mount kit comes complete with a five metre ribbon cable
with waterproof connectors.
You’re easily able to switch between channels using
the rotary volume dial and the display screen makes
it simple to select different functions from the menu.
