instruction manual carefully: it will
familiarise you with this product.
You will also be given hints about the
care and service of your toiletchair.
Please remember that observance of
our hints would keep your toiletchair
in an excellent condition of
preservation and it will function
perfectly even after years of use.

APPLICABILITY
Mobile, re-usable toilet commode. Should
not be used for taking a shower, for
storage, as a ladder, or over built-in
toilets.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Place the toilet chair on level surfaces
only and make sure that all four wheels
stand solidly on the floor. Activate the
brakes.
Operating the brakes:
L WARNING: Good operation of
the brakes is influenced by wear
and contamination of the wheels
(water, oil, …) – Check the
condition of the wheels before
each use.
L WARNING: The brakes can wear
– Check the operation of the
brakes before each use.
The rear wheels can be locked to prevent
involuntary rolling.
We reserve the right to introduce technical
changes. Measurement tolerance +/- 15
mm / 1,5 kg

Securing (A)
Push the surface of the tilting
lever downwards by foot until it
brakes the wheel.
Releasing (B)
Push the surface of the tilting
lever forwards by foot until the
wheel is released.

Mounting / removing backrest + armrest:
L WARNING: Risk of injury – Make
sure that both star knobs are
engaged.
For transport the backrest of the toiletchair
can be completely removed and put on
the seat.
To mount the backrest on the toiletchair:
1. Mount the backrest tubes in
the tubes of the frame .
2. Retighten the star knobs
properly.
3. Swing the armrest until they
are blocked in the armrest
support .
To remove the backrest from the
toiletchair:
1. Loosen the star knobs .
2. Remove the backrest tubes
out the tubes of the frame .
3. Put the backrest on the seat for
transportation.
Footbracket (only for 9139SP):
L WARNING: Risk of tipping over
the toiletchair – Do not stand on the
footbracket to get in and out the
toiletchair.
For transport the footbracket can be
completely folded away under the
toiletchair.
1. Grasp the footbracket .
2. Rotate the footbracket upwards
until the tubes touch the frame
tube .
Mounting / removing footrests (only for
9139SPAV):
L WARNING: Risk of tipping over
the toiletchair – Do not stand on the
footplates to get in and out the
toiletchair. Fold the footplates upwards
to prevent standing on them.
L WARNING: Risk of injury –
Check that the footrests are securely
locked in place before use.
The mounting of the footrests is done as
follows:
1. Hold the footrest sideways at the
outside of the wheelchairs frame.
2. Mount the holes of the footrest on
the pins located on the frame.
3. Turn the footrest inwards till it clicks
in position. If this lock is a little stiff,
press the lever gently back.
4. Turn the footplate downwards.
To take off the footrests:
1. Pull back the lever near the
footrest attachment.
2. Turn the footrest to the outside of the
wheelchair.
3. Lift the holes of the footrest out of
the pins located on the frame .
The toiletbucket can now be placed
onto the guide rails below the seat (on
the backside of the toiletchair.
Now the seat cushion can be placed on
the seat frame. When not in use the seat
can be covered by the cushioned lid
supplied.
Remove the bucket before
transporting the chair.
Remove and empty the bucket every
time after use.
HINT: Pour some water in the upper edge
of the bucket. The bucket is then sealed
airtight against bad odours when the lid is
closed.
ADJUSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Adjust the length of the footrests as follow:
1. Remove the Allen screw on the
lower end of the upper part of the
footrest.
2. Adjust the length of the footrest to a
comfortable length by moving the
hexagonal inner tube out or in.
3. Tighten the Allen screw properly.
Minimum
The minimum length is when the
footrest tube changes from
hexagonal in round.
The maximum
length is until the
mark in the tube (These mark is a
straight line).
SAFETY
When setting up the chair and when it
is transported, carefully guard against
bruising and shearing - danger of
injury!
Do not grasp si de ways further than the
length of your arm allows, otherwise
the chair can tip over.
Before using, check whether all
wheels stand evenly on the floor – risk
of tipping over!
Do not lean too far for wards -- risk of
tipping over!
Remove the bucket before
transporting the chair.
Do not exceed the max load (see
technical details).
Repairs and disinfection should only
be done by authorised persons !
Empty the bucket every time after use.
Risk of burns – Be careful when using
in hot or cold environments (sunshine,
extreme cold, saunas, etc.) for a
sufficient amount of time and when
touching.
Take note of the instructions for care
and service. The manufacturer is not
liable for damage caused by improper
servicing/care.
CARE
Cleaning shall be according following
instructions:
Upholstery / frame
Clean upholstery / frame with a
cloth moistened with hot water. Be
aware that you do not soak the
upholstery / frame.
Use a mild commercial detergent
for removing stubborn dirt.
Stains can be removed by using a
sponge or a soft brush.
Do not use strong cleaning liquids
like solvents, nor use hard
brushes.
Never clean with steam and/or
pressure washers.
The manufacturer is not liable for
damage caused by improper
cleaning agents.
Plastic parts
Clean plastic parts of your toilet
chair with commercial plastic
cleaners. Only use a soft brush or
soft sponge.
Examples of plastic parts are the
bucket, ... .
Surface layer
The high quality of the surface
layer guarantees optimal
protection against corrosion. If the
outer coat is damaged by
scratching or in some other way,
get your specialist dealer to repair
the affected surface.
When cleaning, only use warm
water and normal household
detergents and soft brushes and
cloths. Ensure that no wetness
gets into the tubes.
Initially the zinc parts only require
rubbing with a dry cloth. Stubborn
dirt can best be removed by using
a suitable commercial zinc polish.
SERVICE
Lifetime of the toiletchair is influenced by
its use, storage, regular maintenance,
servicing and cleaning.
The toilet chair must be checked at least
every second year by authorised
persons/specialist dealers, and at least
every time before resuming its use. The
following parameters must be checked:
Check the frame for plastic
deformation and reduced functioning.
Visual inspection of damage to the
paintwork (danger of corrosion)
Check the condition of the cushions
(tears, brittleness, soaking)
Bucket sealing (not in the case of re-
using)
Completeness of consig nment ?
Instruction manua l available?
Cleaning
The service should only be confirmed in
the "Service plan" if at least the above
aspects have been checked. If your
specialist dealer does not undertake the
services which you require, kindly contact
the manufacturer. We will gladly refer you
to authorised specialist dealers in your
vicinity.
DISINFECTION
All parts of the chair can be disinfected by
scrubbing. In principle all surfaces of a
system or a product have to be disinfected
before handing it over to another user (reuse).
Only authorised technicians trained in
the functioning and application of
disinfectants should apply
disinfectants.
Wear suitable protective clothing to
prevent skin irritations which might
be caused by the disinfectant. Also
note the product information of the
solutions used.
The manufacturer does not accept
liability for damage and injury caused
by improper implementation of the
disinfection.
Use only disinfectants included in the list
of the Robert Koch Institute and the
verified procedures of disinfection by
scrubbing or wiping.
The current situation in regard to the
disinfectants included in the RKI list, can
be obtained from the Robert Koch Institute
(RKI, home page: www.rki.de).
Toilet buckets can be treated
hygienically. For use at home:
buckets and cushioned seats are not
meant to be treated hygienically.
Replacement parts can be obtained
from your specialist dealer.
SHIPPING AND STORAGE
The shipping and storage of the toiletchair
shall be according following instructions:
Store in a dry place (between +5°C
and +41°C.
The relative humidity of the air should
be between 30% and 70%.
Provide sufficient covering or
packaging to protect the toilet chair
from rust and foreign bodies (e.g. salt
water, sea air, sand, dust).
WARRANTY

The warranty excludes damage arising
from structural changes to our products,
insufficient maintenance, defective or
improper handling or storage or the use of
non-original parts.
DISPOSAL
When disposing of the toiletchair, contact
your local disposal centre or return the
product to your specialist dealer who, after
submitting it to a hygienic procedure, will
be able to send it back to the
manufacturer who will dispose of and
recycle it correctly, separating it into its
component materials.
Packaging materials can be taken to
disposal or recycling centers or to your
specialist dealer.
