Product Unpacking Instructions
The packing accessories are:
i. (2) Loudspeaker grilles;
ii. (2) Accessory boxes;
iii. (1) Package containing the owner’s manual,
the warranty card and the registration card.
Each accessory box contains:
i. (2) Connector posts;
ii. (4) Threaded spikes;
iii. (4) Threaded spike locking nuts.
1. Place the cardboard box on its upright position. See the
indications printed on the cardboard box;
2. Cut the two black straps;
3. Remove the packing tape that surrounds the cover;
4. Completely open the cover;
5. Extract the four wooden boards from the sides;
6. Lift the cardboard on its upright position;
7. Gently take the inner cardboard box and slide it
completely outside the main cardboard box;
8. Remove the loudspeaker grille and the owner’s manual
from the top protective foam board.
The instruction manual might be found in the second
cardboard box;
10. Gently remove the inner cardboard box by sliding it all
the way up;
11. Remove the protective foam cover inserted on the top of
the loudspeaker;
12. Detach the accessory box from the protective foam cover;
13. Carefully insert the hands inside the bottom protective
foam cover in order to take the bottom of the loudspeaker.
While lifting the loudspeaker, dislodge the foam cover
and lay the loudspeaker directly on the floor;
14. Unwrap and remove the plastic bag covering the
loudspeaker;
15. Repeat steps 1 to 14 for the second loudspeaker;
16. Assemble the (8) spike locking nuts with the (8) threaded
spikes. Leave approximately half an inch between the tip
end and the nut. Put them aside for later installation (once
you have found the final placement of the speakers);
17. Screw the connector posts halfway at the rear of each
speaker;
18. For proper installation, please read the Installation
Chapter of the manual;
19. After installation, you should place unused accessories
inside the case before storage.
9. Cut the black straps fixed on the inner cardboard box;

Product Packing Instructions
The packaging accessories are:
i. (2) 14" x 17" x 18" cardboard boxes;
ii. (2) Inner cardboard boxes;
iii. (2) Accessory boxes;
iv. (4) Protective wooden boards;
v. (2) Top / bottom protective foam covers;
vi. (2) Speaker grilles;
vii. (1) Package containing the owner’s manual
and registration card.
The Tamino loudspeakers are packed in cardboard boxes and
provides space for:
i. (2) Tamino loudspeakers;
ii. (2) Speaker grilles;
iii. (4) Accessory boxes.
Each accessory box contains:
i. (2) Connector posts;
ii. (4) Threaded spikes;
iii. (4) Threaded spike locking nuts.
1. Turn off the power amplifier(s);
2. Completely unscrew the four connector posts from the
Tamino loudspeakers and disconnect the speaker cables;
3. Remove all the threaded spikes and locking nuts from the
loudspeaker cones;
7. Cover the speaker with the inner cardboard box;
8. Strap the outside of the inner cardboard box in order to
hold together the bottom foam cover, the inner cardboard
box, and the top foam cover;
9. Open the main cardboard and place it in its vertical
position. Follow the directions printed on the main
cardboard box;
10. Gently slide the inner cardboard box inside the main
cardboard box, the front of the loudspeaker facing the
opening;
11. Carefully lay the main cardboard box on its horizontal
position;
12. Place the four protective wooden boards inside the main
cardboard. One on each side and one on each extremity;
13. Slide one grille between the top foam cover and the main
cardboard. The grille’s studs should be pointing towards
the speaker and plunged inside the foam;
14. Slide the owner’s manual between the wooden board and
the main cardboard box;
15. Repeat steps 6 to 13 for the second Tamino;
4. Store two connector nuts, four threaded spikes and four
locking nuts in each plastic case.
5. Wrap the Tamino loudspeakes in their plastic bags;
6. Lift a Tamino and insert it into the bottom foam cover,
then put the top foam cover on the loudspeaker;

16. Close the cover of both boxes and tape them adequately;
17. Strap both boxes;
18. The Taminos are ready to be addressed and shipped.
