Rear Panel
The TxPOR T 1200 RMPS installs in a standar d 19" rack. When inserting t he unit, install the bottom two screws in the moun ting brac kets first.
This will prevent the weight of the unit from potentially bending the mounting brackets. The 1200 RMPS weighs up to 60 pounds. Use
extreme caution when installing the unit in the rack to avoid possible personal injury and/or damage to other eq uipment.
AC power is acquired through an industry standard 110 V power cord (supplied).
The alarm cont acts on the ALARM barrier st rip (rear panel) are l abeled COM (common), NC (normally closed), and NO (normally open). The
alarm may be cut off with the ALARM CUT OFF switch (front panel).
The 1200 contains no user-serviceable parts or field options. If servicing or power optioning (24/48 VDC) is required, return the unit to
TxPORT Customer Service.

1051 to 1200 Connections
The TxPORT 1200 RMPS can support up to three 1051 shelves (redun dant five amp configuration) or up to six shelves when configured for
non-redundan t 10 amp opera tion. All wir ing co nne ction s be tween the 12 00 an d th e 105 1 shelf sh ould b e ma de usin g 22- ga uge stran ded wire,
or larger. The maximum power requirements for a 1051 shelf are 1.65 amps, -48 VDC.
To connect a 1051 shelf to the 1200, attach one end of a stranded wire to TB2 terminal 4 labeled
-48 V IN (A) on the 1051 shelf. Attach the opposite end of the stranded wire to any one of the 16
terminal connections labeled -48 VDC on the 1200. Then, attach one end of anothe r stranded wire
to TB2 term inal 6 labeled +48 V RTN (A) on the 1051 shelf. Attach the opposite end of that
stranded wire to any one of the 16 terminal connections labeled RTN on the 1200. The -48 V and
RTN connections on the 1200 must be in parallel for safe operation. The diagr am a bove d is plays a redundant power feed to the 1051 shelf . If a redunda nt feed is not required, you nee d only
connect the terminals 4 and 6 labeled -48 V IN (A) and +48 V RTN (A), respectively.
