4Configuring the Ruby or Sapphire System
This chapter describes how to set up the Ruby or Sapphire system to use Secure PumpPAY.
Running Gemstall
Note: For Shell sites, go to the section “Running Gemstall for Shell Sites.”
For Ruby only sites, use rel.vfg; for Sapphire sites, use relsapp.vfg. When you run Gemstall, select the
following options for Secure PumpPAY:
1. Under Select Dcr System, select the new “D_Secure_Pump_Pay” option. If you are changing
configuration bits in the next menu, make sure you keep the fifth bit as a “1” because this will
be looked at by the software (original bits: 1000-1000 and you can change them to 1000-1111).
2. Under Select Dcr Keypad, select the new “v2001” keypad.
3. Under the new Select SPP Prompt menu, select one of the available prompts.
Note: If the Gemstall version that contains the Secure PumpPAY configuration options is not
available, select the following options:
–Wayne DCR
–Wayne keypad 2001
–Wayne Prompt (any one, W1_01 will work)
–Wayne Graphics
–Fuel will be whatever it was previously at the site because the MX 760 only changes out
the DCR.
After you have run Gemstall, make the following settings in Fuel Manager for each DCR:
Fuel Manager ->
8. DCR Configuration -> DCR Attributes -> DCR #01
13. Enable graphic support - Y
