Battery & Power
EN-EL15 Batteries
At low temper atures of about 50° F (10° C) and
below, the Nikon EN-EL15 batteries will decrease in
per formance. Warming up a cold battery can recover
some of the los t charge. AA batte ries have less capacity
and lose more per formance at low temperatures .
AA Batteries
In most cases, Nikon EN-EL15 bat ter y will provide
better performance than AA batteries when used
in the Vello BG-N4. 2. AA LR6 alkaline and ZR6
nickel-manganese batteries have limited capacity and
ther efore should only be used when ther e is no other
alternative. Per formance of AA batteries decreases
signicantly at temperatur es below 68 °F (20 °C) and
is therefore not recommended.
Remove t he batter ies when the BG-N4.2 is not in use.
