The Vello BG-N16-2 battery grip offers extended
shooting time and comfort when shooting in a vertical
(portrait) orientation. The grip is compatible with the
Nikon D5500 and D5600 DSLR cameras and accepts up
to two Nikon EN-EL14/EL14a rechargeable batteries. It
offers an al ternate shut ter release bu tton that triggers the
camer a via the included shutter release cable, making the
grip ideal for shooting por trait photography. An included
IR remote allows ea sy line-of-sight wireless shooting.

Precautions
1.
The BG-N16-2 should be used only with compatible
devices specified in this manual.
2.
Use only with the batteries and battery holders
recommended in this manual.
3. If you notice smoke, noise, or an unusual smell from
the bat tery pack, discontinue use immediately.
Remove the batteries, and ta ke the device to a Vello
authorized reseller.
4.
The bat tery level may not display properly if bat teries
are installed before mounting the grip.
5. Remove batteries from the grip when not in use.
6. Do not attempt to disassemble.
7.
Avoid exposing this product to water or ex treme
humidity, and keep i t in a cool, dry place.
8. Keep out of reach of children.
