1.1. SAFETY
This chair bears the CE mark and conforms to all applicable EU rules. The stool is manufactured by VELA, Vermund Larsen A/S, Goeteborgvej 8-12, 9200 Aalborg SV, Denmark.
VELA Samba is an indoor stool designed for sitting persons.
VELA Samba 100/110/120/130/150 is tested and approved for a maximum user weight of 125 kg.
1.2. WARRANTY
VELA provides warranty by the laws and regulations which are debt in the country the chair is bought in. The warranty only applies when using original spare parts and accessories. Modification may only be carried out by authorised service technicians.
VELA does not accept responsibility for damage or injury to the product or user, which have arisen due to:

1.3. UNPACKING THE CHAIR
VELA Samba is supplied in cardboard packaging, developed with conside­ration for the environment.
If there are any parts missing or transport damage to the chair, plea­se contact your dealer immediately. Do not not try to repair any damage or use the chair.

1.4. MAINTENANCE
We recommend your VELA Samba undergoes an annual service to find, for example, defective or worn parts.
1.4.1. WHEELS
VELA recommend that the wheels are checked in regular intervals e.g. to remove possible thread remnants.
1.4.2. FRAME
Clean with water, possibly with a PH neutral soap.
1.4.3. UPHOLSTERY
Fabric: Clean with upholstery clea-
ners or wipe it with a tightly wrung cloth rinsed in clean water.
Imitation leather: Clean with water or mild soap.
Medical textiles: Clean as described above. Can also be cleaned with disinfectants and alcohol.
Leather: Cleen by vacuuming it using a soft dusting brush. Avoid cleaning products.

1.5.3. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT HEIGHT WITH LEVER
Adjust the seat height by pushing the lever placed at your right hand.
1.5.4. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT HEIGHT (SAMBA 130)
Adjust the seat height by pushing the lever placed at your left hand.
1.5.2. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT HEIGHT WITH FOOT RING
Adjust the seat height with your foot by pushing the ring, which is placed at the base og the chair.

Replacement of the gas spring may only be performed by the service support team from your dealer or a skilled technical person.
1.5.1. ATTACHING THE BACKREST
The lever for backrest adjustment (1) must be in open position. Press the locking pin spring (2) and push the backrest arm through the hole. Tighten the lever afterwards. Note: The backrest arm must be pushed through completely so the pin spring locks the backrest arm. Make sure that the backrest arm cannot be pulled out again.

1.5.7. ADJUSTMENT OF BACK HEIGHT
Adjust the back height by using the lever placed on the back of the chair. Remember to tighten the handle again afterwards.
1.5.8. ADJUSTMENT OF BACK TILT
Adjust the back tilt by pushing the rear lever placed at your right hand.
1.5.6. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT TILT (SAMBA 130)
Adjust the seat tilt by pushing the lever placed at your right hand.
1.5.5. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT TILT
Adjust the seat tilt by pushing the middle lever placed at your right hand.
