1.2 Installation / Installation

Das Anschlusskabel mit dem 6-poligen Kabelstecker wird in die
Kabeldose am Dampferzeuger angeschlossen.

Der Dampfschlauch wird mit dem Dampferzeuger verbunden.
Während der Arbeitspausen wird der Bügler in die

Abhängegabel beim Schwenk- bzw. Teleskophalter eingehängt.

The connection cable with the 6-core cable plug is connected to
the socket of the steam generator.

The steam hose is connected with the steam generator.
During breaks the hand finisher is hung up in the suspension fork

at the swivel holder or telescopic holder.

1.3 Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise für Bügler / Warnings and Safety Instructions

• Die Büglersohle nicht berühren! Verbrennungsgefahr!

• Den Bügler nie auf temperaturempfindliche oder brennbare

Oberflächen abstellen. Brandgefahr! Nur die dafür
vorgesehenen stabilen und temperaturfesten
Abstellmöglichkeiten verwenden.

• Der Bügler darf nicht benutzt werden, wenn er sichtbare
Beschädigungen oder Undichtigkeiten aufweist.

• Reparaturarbeiten nur durch Fachkräfte ausführen lassen.

• Vor Öffnen des Gerätes Anschlusskabel und Dampfleitung

ausstecken.

• Anschlusskabel regelmäßig auf Beschädigungen
überprüfen. Spröde oder beschädigte Kabel sofort
auswechseln lassen.

• Es dürfen nur von VEIT zugelassene Ersatz- und
Zubehörteile verwendet werden.

• Don’t touch the iron soleplate! Danger of burning!

• Don’t place the iron on surfaces which are sensitive to heat

or combustible. Danger of fire! Use only the rests provided
which is solid and heat-resistant.

• Do not use iron if it has visible damages or leakages.

• Repairs must only be done by authorized personnel.

• Disconnect the connection cable and the steam line, before

opening the unit.

• Check regularly if the connection cable is damaged.
Replace any brittle or damaged cables immediately.

• Use only VEIT spare parts and accessories.

1.4 Betrieb / Operating

1. Die Aufheizzeit des kalten Handfinishers bis zur
Betriebstemperatur dauert ca. 10 Minuten. Bei
Nichtbeachtung der notwendigen Aufheizzeit bildet sich
verstärkt Kondensat.

2. Vor Arbeitsbeginn und nach Pausen kurz abdämpfen, damit
das Kondensatwasser aus dem abgekühlten
Dampfschlauch entfernt wird.

3. Bei starkem Kondensataustritt während des Abdämpfens
wird die Sohle abgekühlt; sollte der Dampf noch zu feucht
sein, nochmals abwarten, bis sich die Temperatur wieder
erhöht hat.

4. Der Handfinisher 121 576 001 0 ist mit einem grauen
Hochdruck-Gummischlauch mit Tefloneinlage ausgerüstet,
der bei kontinuierlichem Arbeiten (warm bleibender
Schlauch) seine Vorteile durch die Knickfestigkeit bringt.

5. Die Temperatursteuerung erfolgt durch die selbstregelnden
Eigenschaften des Kaltleiter-(PTC)-Heizelementes, d.h. es
fließt nur so lange der Heizstrom, bis die Obergrenze der
Arbeitstemperatur (ca.160°C-180°C) erreicht ist. Die
Leistung liegt bei ca. 500W.

1) The heating time of the cold hand finisher until
operating temperature is reached is approx. 10
minutes.

If the hand finisher is not heated up long enough,
condensate will develop.

2) Release steam before starting operation and after
pausing so that condensate will be removed from the
cold steam hose.

3) If much condensate develops while steaming, the sole
cools down. If the steam is still too wet, wait, until the
temperature has increased again.

4) The hand finisher, Art. No. 121 576 001 0, is equipped
with a grey high-pressure rubber hose with teflon core,
which is non-buckling and suitable for long working
(the hose remains warm).

5) Temperature is controlled by the self-adjusting
features of the PTC-resistor heating element that
means that the heating current flows until the
maximum working temperature (approx. 160°C ­180°C) is reached. The capacity is approx. 500W.

1.5 Pflege / Maintenance

Staub und Faserrückstände in Verbindung mit Wärme und
Dampf führen zu Verschmutzungen und Verkrustungen, die Sie
täglich entfernen sollten. Zur gründlichen Reinigung empfehlen
wir unser seit Jahren bewährtes Bügler-Pflegeprogramm.

The unit becomes dirty through the effect of heat and steam on
dust and fluff. We therefore advise daily cleaning and for
intensive cleaning we recommend the VEIT range of cleaning
products.

1.6 Büglerreparatur / Repairs

Büglerreparaturen erfolgen ausschließlich in unserem Reparatur­Betrieb.
