LED Charge Indicators
• Red LED indicates a low battery charge
• Two Red LEDs indicate a medium level or partial battery charge
• Two Red and one Green LEDs indicate a full or high level battery charge
Use as an Automatic Emergency Light
Leave the LED Flashlight plugged into the wall outlet. When a power loss occurs,
the LED Flashlight will automatically illuminate.
Use as an EL (Electroluminescent) Night Light
The blue EL night light operates automatically whenever the unit is plugged into
the wall outlet.
Use as a Portable Flashlight
To use the LED Flashlight as a flashlight, unplug the unit from the wall outlet after
charging and flip the polarized plug back into its storage position. The ON /OFF
pushbutton operates the flashlight in this mode.
Note:
When unplugged from the wall outlet, the LED Flashlight will remain
lit until the plug is “flipped down” into its storage position.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The LED Flashlight should not be used in outdoor outlets or in wet
conditions and should never be submerged in liquid.
Battery Replacement
Make sure the flashlight is unplugged from wall outlet.
1. Remove the retaining screw holding the battery cover in place (using a
Phillips screwdriver) and pull the cover away from the unit to remove.
2. Replace the batteries with three AAA size Ni-Cad batteries.
W ARNING
Use only AA Ni-Cad type rechargeable batteries. Other types of
batteries may burst, causing personal injury or damage to the unit
and/or outlet.
Battery Disposal
Dispose of used batteries properly. These batteries are fully
