> DEVICE PLACEMENT IN YOUR VEHICLE
GPS signal fix: To obtain an effective GPS signal place your device
in the windshield inside your vehicle, in a way that it doesn't interfere
with your driving. When using it outside, it will be more difficult to fix
satellites in places with high trees and buildings. In the first use, your
device can take up to 30 minutes to make the first GPS fix.
After this the procedure will only take a few seconds, unless you
travel by plane or change country continuously.
The GPS antenna is often located in the rear upper part of your
device and must be directed towards the sky at all times. Placing your
device in the seats will decrease the ability to fix a GPS signal.
