Installation Instructions
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING THE PRODUCT.
THE RANGE
A10/4, A12/5, A10/4A, A12/5A, A15/6, A10/4LV, A10/4ALV - standard versions should be operated by a remote switch.
A10/4C, A12/5C, A15/6C, A10/4CA, A12/5CA, A15/6CA, A10/4CLV- pull cord operated
A10/4T, A12/5T, A10/4AT, A12/5AT, A15/6T, A10/4TLV, A10/4ATLV - with adjustable overrun timer – these fans should be operated
by a remote switch which can also be used to control the room light. After the light/fan is switched off the fan will continue to run for the
pre-set length of time .
A10/4HCT, A12/5HCT, A10/4HCTA, A12/5HCTA, A10/4HCTLV, A10/4HCTALV - with humidistat and timer - the adjustable, electronic
humidistat is pre-set so that the fan will operate automatically when the moisture content in the room reaches 70% R.H. The fan will
continue to operate until the Relative Humidity falls below the pre-set level and the timer has completed the over-run period. The fan can
be operated by the pull cord (or by a remote switch) independently of the humidistat (a neon light indicates that the fan is ope rat ing in this
mode). NOTE: the fan will continue to operate for a short period after the cord is pulled a second time, ie until the humidistat senses that
the relative humidity in the room has fallen beneath the pre-set level and the timer has completed its overrun period.
A15/6CA2, A15/62R, A15/6H2C - 2 speed models. A15/6CA2 – pulling the co rd once on this fan will make it operate at its ma ximum
speed; pulling the cord again will reduce the speed to its lower level; pulling the cord again will turn the fan off. A15/62R - this fa n is
designed for continuous running at its low speed; using the remote switch will boost the fan to its maximum speed (and back to its lower
speed). A15/6H2C comes on automatically at its lower speed when the moisture content in the room reaches its pre-set level. Pulling
the cord will boost the speed of the fan to its maximum level (a neon light indicates that the fan is operating in this mode). Pulling the
cord again will revert the fan to its lower speed and automatic operation by the humidistat and timer.
A10/4TPIR, A10/4HTPIR, A10/4PIRLV - with Passive Infra Red sensor. These fans operate automatically when a person is in the room
(at 8m and 60°). They will continue to operate for a pre-set length of time after the room has been vacated. The A10/4HTPIR wi ll also
operate automatically via the humidistat regardless of whether or not the room is occupied.
All versions with “A” have delay action, slow moving shutters.
All versions with “LV” are LOW VOLTAGE (SELV). They MUST be installed using the transformer provided.

All versions with Timer or Humidistat incorporate adjustable trimmers. The overrun period on timer can be adjusted upwards by turning
the RED trimmer on the PC Board in a clockwise direction (from a minimum of 3 min to a maximum of 15 min). The Humidistat can be
adjusted so that it starts to operate at a higher level or relative humidity by turning the BLUE trimmer in a clockwise direction (from a
minimu m of 40% to a max i mu m of 100%).
All versions with Humidistat incorporate a controlled temperature set-back allowing the humidistat to take into account variations in the
ambient temperature and to avoid the fan switching on unnecessarily. This reduces fan operation at night.
All the fans (w ith the exception of th e “LV ” mo dels) are splashproof to standard IPX4. The “LV” fans are rated IP57 enabling them to be
safely installed in areas where a splashproof fan does not provide sufficient protection against water ingress.
All fans are ex t re me ly quiet in oper ati on.
