• Please referto oor/surface manufacture’s care recommendations beforeuse, and test your ooring/carpet/rugs/surfaces by running the steamer overa small hidden area. If no pile distortion or damage occurs continue cleaning.Not suitable for use on wax polished oors or furniture, acrylic surfacesand synthetics, velvet or steam/water sensitive materials.
• This steamer should not be used to clean electrical appliances suchas microwaves, televisions, electrical heating systems, etc.
• Only Vax recommended accessories and detergent should be usedwith the steamer.
• Don’t handle the plug or use the steamer with wet hands.
• Don’t pull or carrythe steamer bythe power cord. Don’t use the powercord as a handle, pull the power cord around corners and sharp edgesor close a door overthe power cord. Don’t unplug steamer by pullingon the power cord.
• Don’t attempt to remove blockages with sharp objects as this may causedamage to the steamer, remove blockages only as instructed in this guide.
• Don’t aim the steamer at people, animals, plants or electricalcomponents such as interior of ovens or wires. Nevertouch thesteam jet or accessories (there is a risk of scalding).
• Don’t use the steamer with incorrect voltage as this may result in damageor injuryto the user. The correct voltage is listed on the rating label.
• Always replace the fuse in the plug with a British 13amp fuse. Always protectthe power cord from heated surfaces or near open ames.
• Use only CE approved 13amp extension cords, non-approved extension cordsmay overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the extension cord as it couldbe a trip hazard.
• Always carrythe steamer bythe handle.
• Store the steamer in a cool, dry area. Before storing the steamer pleaseensure the twin tank is thoroughlyclean and dry.

Getting started
Before you BeginCAUTION: The steamer and accessories get very hot during use, always allow them to cool down before handling, or changing to
handheld or reach wand mode. Always switch o and unplug the steamer when assembling. Always switch o the steamer beforeemptying the twin tank orchanging the cloths/accessories.
CAUTION: This steamer is not free standing, always stand using the wall bracket or securely against a wall/xed structure,alternatively lie the steamer at on the oor in a suitable location so it does not become a trip hazard or can be stepped on.
IMPORTANT: Please referto oor/surface manufacturer’s care recommendations before use and test the steamer on a hiddenarea to begin with. Test for colour fastness in a small hidden area of upholstery/fabric to check for colour removal before use.When using the steamer, basic safety precautions should always be observed. Don’t aim the steamer at people, animals, plants,and electrical components or wires. Nevertouch the steam jet or oorhead from a short distance (there is a risk of scalding).The steamer is equipped with a thermostat and a thermal cut-out. If for any reason the steamer overheats it will switch o.If this happens switch o and unplug the steamer, allow to cool for a least 2 to 4 hours and re-try.
Assembling the steamer
Push the steam reachwand down intothe oorhead untilit clicks into place.
Push the handhelddown onto the steamreach wand until it clicksinto place.
Fixing the wall bracket
The wall bracket can be xed againstthe wall by either adhesive strips or screw
The steamer is not free standing and must always bestood either in the wall bracket or safely and securelyagainst a wall or xed structure when not in use.
Getting started
Fixing the wall bracket with adhesive strip
Fully assemble the unit andposition it against the wallwhere it will be stored.
Stand the unit close andupright against the wall.
Remove theadhesive cover.
Firmly press the handheld and wallstorage clip to x the wall storage clipto the wall in the correct place.
Fixing the wall bracket with screws
Fully assemble the unitand position it againstthe wall where it willbe stored.
Attach the wallbracket to the handle.
Attach the wallbracket to the handle.
Using one of the supplied screws,screw the wall bracket to the wallusing the top screw hole.
Carefully removethe unit fromthe wall bracketand use the otherscrew to securethe wall bracketto the wall.
Using your machine
IMPORTANT: Always test on an inconspicuous area of ooring rst before using detergent. Don’t over ll the clean twin tanksor exceed the maximum amount required. Don’t use the steamer without water in the watertank. Always top up with waterin good time.CAUTION: This steamer is not free standing, when lling or carrying out any maintenance always stand securely against a wall/xed structure or lie the steamer at on the oor in a suitable location so it does not become a trip hazard or can be stepped on.
Filling the twin tank
Press the twin tankrelease button down,grip the twin tankand pull to remove.
Grip the twin tank and pullthe tab on the detergenttank cap to open.
Grip the twin tank andpull the tab on the watertank cap to open.
Fill the detergent tankup to the ll line withwater and top up withdetergent replace the capand push rmlyto close.
Fill the water tank withwater. Replace the capand push rmlyto close.
Before replacing the twintank make sure the hardwater lter is in place.
Line up the lip on the baseof twin tank with the mainbody. Push in a hinge likemannerto click into place.
IMPORTANT: If the twintank is not tted correctlythere will be a reductionin the amount of steam/detergent produced.
