Important Information
The vacuum cleaner battery requires some care
to ensure correct operation. Please follow these
instructions:
1. The vacuum cleaner must not be charged
where the temperature is lower than 0
0
C or
higher than 40
0
C.
2. Always use the supplied charging device for
Sweeper-Vac.
3. This appliance is not intended for use
by young or infirm persons unless they
have been adequately supervised by a
responsible person to ensure that they can
use the appliance safely.
Young children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
4. Always re-charge the Sweeper-Vac after
use. If unused for long periods of time, keep
the vacuum cleaner in a cool place and recharge at least every 6 months.
5. Always turn the vacuum cleaner off when
changing filter.
6. Do not vacuum wet surfaces or flammable
solvents.
7. Do not vacuum hot glowing particles.
8. Never lubricate the motor.
9. Do not leave the vacuum in direct sunlight.
10. Do not leave or expose the battery near a
source of heat.
Do not short-circuit the battery.
Do not dismantle or open the battery.
11. The vacuum cleaner contains a 15.6 Volt
Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack.
Do not burn the battery. Dispose properly.
12. Service and repairs must be carried out by
an authorised Vax Service Agent.
