These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. Warning and Caution
Warning
1. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this monitor to rain or moisture.
2. High voltage exists on the cathode-ray tube anode lead of this monitor . Before servicing, determine the presence of high voltage by connecting a H.V. meter between the anode of CRT cap and chassis.
Caution
1. Keep monitor away from excessive dust, high temperature, moisture or direct sunlight.
2. Use in a well-ventilated area and do not cover ventilation openings.
3. Unauthorized modifications of this equipment, substitution or attachment of un-shielded connecting cables may cause excessive interference.
4. If the monitor is not in use for an extended time, turn off the power.

Important Safety Instructions
Before operating this equipment, please ensure that you have carefully followed all the procedures outlined in the users manual.

2. Save these instructions for later use
3. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product
4. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning
5. Do not use this product near water
6. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand or table. The product may fall, causing serious damage to the product and personnel
7. Slots and openings on the cabinet are provided for ventilation. To ensure reliable operation for the product and to protect it from overheating, these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or any similar surface. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat register . This product should not be placed in a built-in installation unless proper ventilation is provided.
8. This product should be operated from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of the power available consult your dealer or power company .
9. This product is equipped with a 3-wire grounding type plug, a plug having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding type power outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the purpose of the grounding -type-plug.
10. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Do not place this product where persons will trip on the cord.

11. If an extension cord is used with product, make sure the amperage rating of the extension cord matches the rating of the product. Also, make sure the total of all products plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed 15 amperes.
12. Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in a risk of fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
13. Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing the cover may expose you to dangerous voltage points or other risks. Refer all servicing to a service technician.
14. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to a qualified service technician under the following conditions:
A. When the power cord or plug is damaged or frayed B. If liquid has been spilled into the product C. If the product has been exposed to rain or water D. If the product does not operate normally when the operating
instructions are followed. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions since improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to
normal operation E. If the product has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged F . If the product exhibits a distinct change in performance, indicating
a need for service

Connecting the Monitor
1. Be sure the monitor and the system unit are switched off.
2. Connect the power cord into the AC INPUT of the monitor.
3. Connect the 15-pin connector of the signal cable to the video control­ler of the PC, or your signal source.
4. Connect the signal cable to the monitor. The monitor supports two type of signal cable: HD-15 or BNC. The monitor will automatically detect which input is used, however only one type can be connected at a time.
5. The monitor supports separate sync, composite sync, and sync on green. When using signal with composite sync, the composite sync should be connected to the H/H+V connector of the BNC connectors, or pin 14 of the HD-15 connector.

Selects OSD function on menu to adjust the display settings of monitor. The OSD will auto­matically disappear after 10 seconds of inactivity .
+ - Increases and decreases value of selected
OSD function.
OSD Operation Depress any of four adjustment buttons located
on front of monitor to activate OSD. Once displayed, choose icon corresponding to adjustment required. Center of OSD menu displays image resolution and frequency .
Users Controls
Power Switch Push the Power Switch to turn the monitor on and
off. The Power LED near the OSD adjustment switches will light when the power is on. The LED will display Green when a valid signal is present, Amber if the monitor is in power saving mode (sig­nal is interrupted from computer source). The im­age will be restored when the signal is received by the monitor .

1.Set Address Setting on dip switches at rear of monitor:
Set Binary Code on both rows of switches
SW 1 CONTROLS FIRST NUMBER, SW 2 CONTROLS SECOND NUMBER 1 = 1, 2 = 2, 3 = 4, 4 = 8; ADD V ALUES TO ACHEIVE DESIRED NUMBER
After setting Binary Code, Monitor Power must be cycled to activate.
2. Depress two digit number on remote to correspond to address setting.
3. Depress REVIEW button to activate On Screen Display (OSD).
4. Depress CH or CH button to select adjustment function.
5. Depress - or + button to adjust monitor.
6. Depress POWER button to save adjustments, and disable remote.
NOTE: The POWER button must be depressed when the adjustments are finished and the OSD is off. This can be confirmed by depressing the REVIEW
button again, if the OSD returns, the monitor has not been deselected. Depress POWER button again to deselect monitor.

Power Management Function
The power management function, which is controlled through the computer , provides four distinct power states.
On The normal operating condition. The power LED will show
Green.
S t andby The screen blanks after a pre-set amount of idle time. The
power LED will appear Amber in this state
Suspend Some electronic circuits go off after a pre-set amount of
idle time. The power LED will appear Amber in this state
The following is a description of these power states and their corresponding power consumption

Reinitializing Power To reactivate a display , which is in the standby or suspend mode, do one of
the following:

Trouble Shooting
The following chart describes some possible trouble shooting techniques. Please refer to this chart for trouble shooting before contacting a service dealer
