Safety Warnings

least 99.99% effective image pixels, but on .01% of
the panel there may be missing or constantly lit
CONNECTION AND USE OF THE MONITOR
1. Your monitor comes supplied with an AC/DC power adapter. Depending on the accessories
you purchase, you can power and use the monitor in a variety of ways.
2. To mount the monitor on top of your camera, screw the VZ-SHOE * (1) into the threaded hole
on the bottom of the monitor (2) and loosen the disc at the base of the VZ-SHOE so that you
will be able to insert the square plate into the shoe slot on the camera. Once inserted, you
must screw the disc down onto the shoe slot to secure the mount (if you don’t screw the disc
down, you may not be able to tighten the swivel lock knob). Position your monitor and tighten
the swivel lock knob.

3. Connect the RCA and DC plugs to the jacks on the rear of the monitor.
Plug the RCA video cable into the RCA jack (A) and the DC power
plug into the DC jack (B). Note: If your camera only has a BNC video
output, you can get RCA-to-BNC adapters at most electronics supply
stores.

The additional RCA connector (C) is for audio monitoring (mono),

which is possible using headphones connected to the “Ear Phone” jack
on the front of the monitor.
4. Finally, turn on the POWER and adjust the color and brightness to your liking by pressing the
appropriate buttons (see below). Note: The “AV INPUT” jack is not functional on this model.

model VZ-TFT (Available kit: VZ-TFT-U monitor kit includes monitor, carrying case, battery kit,
shoemount, and sunhood.
