A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot
viewing glass is provided with this appliance and shall be
installed for the protection of children and other at-risk
individuals.
Barrier screen
A Barrier Screen is being provided to you to install on your Horizon
Clearview Front 645CFV. The barrier screen is designed specifi cally to
prevent any contact with the glass of the fi replace which becomes hot
during operation and remains hot when cooling.
DANGER
HOT GLASS WILL
CAUSE BURNS.
DO NOT TOUCH GLASS
UNTIL COOLED.
NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN
TO TOUCH GLASS.

fireplace front after maintenance.
Installation of the barrier screen
1. Install the barrier screen, sliding its upper tabs
behind the front plate of the trim.
2. Drop the screen bottom tab so they hook to the
edge of the appliance’s black frame.

barrier screen is re-installed on the
fireplace front after maintenance.
To clean the fi replace trim, use mild soap and water.
To clean the barrier screen, dust with a soft brush.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall
be replaced with the manufacturer’s barrier for this
appliance.
To clean the window and ceramics inside the fi rebox,
consult the Owner’s Information section of the
Installation and Owner’s Manual supplied with the
fi replace.
