beep&park®/vision™ is a reverse radar system that helps motorists to park safely
using a rearview camera providing drivers with audio and video information when
reversing.

Activation of distances and the audible alert (Park Assist):
• Sensor detection area: : ≤ 2,50m
• Distances displayed on the screen : 1,50m to 30cm
• Audible alert activation threshold: ≤ 1.50m
• Progressively increasing beep in te nsi ty:
Continuous beep - STOP displayed: < 30cm
1) Parking Assistance System :
• Each time you select the reverse gear, the 4 rear sensors are activated to detect the
presence of obstacles at the rear of the vehicle, and the rear Camera transmits information
• beep&park®/vision™ will send you an audible alert (beeps), which intensifies as much as
you get closer to the obstacle, providing you with assistance during your parking
manoeuvres.
• Continuous beep when being at less than 30 cm from the obstacle.
• The Colour screen, located on the dashboard transmits the colour images from the wide
angle camera to give you clear and precise vision of the rear surroundings of the vehicle
• The digital Screen located on the dashboard will indicate the distance and the localisation
of the obstacles located at the rear of the vehicle (left or right)

1) Sensor Diagnostic Function :
• Select reverse gear. The system tests the 4 rear sensors automatically:
If all of the sensors are working, the system beeps once.
If there is a problem with any of the sensors, the system
beeps 3 times.
• In case of the detection of a problem, please ask an approved Auto
technician to check the sensors. Replacement sensors are available as
spare parts in case of a shock.
2) Screen Settings :
• The screen can easily be removed from its support by simply
clicking it in and out. We recommend you to remove the screen when
leaving vehicle unattended to avoid theft.
• Screen settings buttons; located at the back of the display, enable you to
set image positioning, luminosity and contrast in all circumstances.
• The rear camera Also works in poor light (< 2 lux), and even at night
3) Volume Settings :
• The loudspeaker of beep&park®/vision™ is installed in the boot of your
car. It is fitted with a three positions volume switch:
I : mute
II : Normal
III : Loud

Valeo may not be held responsible for the incorrect installation or misuse of the products.
• beep&park®/vision™ helps drivers in their parking manœuvres but does not replace
drivers’ vigilance..
• beep&park
®
/vision™ cannot be fitted on vehicles equipped with a tow bar
• Obstructed sensor may avoid system to function properly. Make sure that the
sensors are clean and not covered with mud, snow or ice.
• If you wish to adapt the colour of the sensors to the colour of your vehicle, we have
paintable sensors available as spare parts.
• We recommend you to remove the screen when leaving vehicle unattended to avoid
theft.
• To maintain good visibility, make sure you keep the camera clean and avoid to place
the camera in contact or close to sharp objects.
• Heavy rain, untidy camera or faulty sensor may cause image to scramble temporary.
• If you wish to connect beep&park®/vision™ with your Satellite Navigation System,
ask you approved auto technician to check compatibility.
• Please do not modify or repair the product on your own. It may cause malfunctions
as well as serious damage to the product and vehicle.
• Make sure to protect the screen and the film from liquid projections while cleaning the
inside of the car. Water may cause damage to electronic circuits and cause electric
shock.
• Avoid contacts with chemical products and detergents as they may case damages to
the surface as well as internal component of the product.
• Avoid all mechanical shock that may cause permanent damage to electronic and
electrical components and lead to a functional deteriorations
• If the system does not beep, check that the volume level is not set at minimum.
• In case of a accident, spare parts are available through your usual distribution
channel.
