TWIN TODDLER SEAT
TO INSTALL YOUR TWIN TRI-MODE TODDLER SEAT: (THE EASY WAY!)

1. Before you begin to install the toddler seat make sure to remove the bumper bar or nylon plugs from the housing on the stroller frame. To do so: From the underside of the nylon housing, feel the side of the nylon housing that sits below the frame at each side of the stroller (the place where the bumper bar connects to the stroller).
2. Locate the center release “button.” (1)
3. Press the release button inward while simultaneously pushing upward on the bar or plug.
4. Repeat for the other side.
NOTE: TO AVOID FINGER ENTRAPMENTS, THE NYLON PLUGS MUST BE RETAINED AND INSTALLED WHEN THE BUMPER BAR OR TODDLER SEAT IS NOT IN USE.

5. Remove the toddler seat from the box.
Your toddler seat will come folded at and
compact.

6. Open the seat up by pulling the seat back away from the ‘U’ shaped metal bar.

7. Locate the swivelling mini rod, located on each side of the toddler seat.

8. Simultaneously rotate both mini rods, and the ‘U’ shaped metal bar, so that they meet.
9. Insert the ‘U’ legs into the nylon housings of the mini rods until you feel them click into place.
NOTE: UNTIL YOU HEAR A CLICK, THE BAR
IS NOT SECURE.

10. You Toddler Seat is now fully assembled.
11.Insert the seat connectors into the housings on either side of your stroller (the place where the bumper bar goes).
12. Once secured, slightly lift up the toddler seat to ENSURE each leg has fully engaged in each housing.

13. Your toddler seat is now attached to the stroller and should look like this.

14. Check the underside of the footrest for
a ‘D’ shaped metal ring.
NOTE: IF YOU CANNOT LOCATE A ‘D’ RING
UNDERNEATH THE FRONT FOOTREST OF YOUR STROLLER, YOU MAY HAVE AN OLDER MODEL TRI-MODE. FOR DETAILS ON HOW TO ATTACH THE TODDLER SEAT TO YOUR OLDER MODEL STROLLER, PLEASE CONTACT VALCO DIRECT AT info@ valco.com.au (IN AUS) OR info@valcobaby. com (IN NORTH AMERICA).
15. Locate the strap on the ‘U’ Shaped
metal bar that rests on the front of the footrest.

16. Thread the strap through the
D-shaped ring, from the front.

17. Once through the D-shaped ring, bring the strap back and upward towards you.
18. Thread the strap through the rectangular metal ring attached to the actual strap. Be sure that the strap is threaded BEHIND the movable metal separator in the ring. (3)
19. Pushing the metal separator back against the strap to make space, thread the end of the strap into the space you have just made. (4)
20. Pull the strap end through the ring as far as you can to tighten, securing the font end of your toddler seat to your stroller frame.

21. Now the Toddler Seat is safely attached to your stroller, and ready for use.

22. Be sure to remove and dispose of the plastic from the front bumper bar of the toddler seat.
23. Please dispose of all packaging materials thoughtfully and responsibly.

TO FOLD YOUR TODDLER SEAT DOWN WITH YOUR STROLLER:

24. Locate the ap that covers the locking
pin in the nylon housing joining each leg of the toddler seat.
25. Press down on the ap and pull the
“U” shape leg slightly from the housing.
26. Repeat this process on the other side.
27. Remove the “U” legs totally from the
housing.

28. Fold the “U” frame forward so that it is
as parallel as possible to, and sitting on, the front of the stroller.
29. Swivel the mini rid upward against the
underside of the toddler seat front bar.
30. Fold the toddler seat down onto the
“U” frame.
TO FOLD YOUR STROLLER WITH THE TODDLER SEAT:

31. You should now be able to fold your
stroller as normal.
NOTE: WITH THE TODDLER SEAT FOLDED
IN PLACE, YOUR STROLLER WILL SIT UP A LITTLE HIGHER THAN NORMAL IN THE FOLDED POSITION.

WARNINGS
Your child’s safety is your responsibility …
Be sure to check that all clamps and buckles are securely xed and in
place before use. Check all parts for breakage or fatigue before use. Discontinue immediately if any part is found to be damaged or broken. The maximum weight of the toddler in this seat is 20 kg’s/ 45lbs.
ALWAYS be sure your stroller wheels are fully inated before riding with • the toddler seat. Fully inated tires provide the most stable platform and
are less susceptible to punctures and blowouts. NEVER leave your child unattended while in any stroller or in this seat. NEVER remove your hands from the stroller handle while your child is in this seat. To avoid tipping ALWAYS hold the stroller when your child is climbing into the seat. NEVER leave the stroller at rest (parked) with a toddler in the seat. NEVER use this seat if the child is unwilling to sit in it. ALWAYS be aware of your child’s position when sitting in the toddler seat. Excessive leaning to one side or while the stroller is cornering, may cause the unit to become unstable. NEVER use this seat with a child under 6 months of age and/or is unable to sit up unassisted. NEVER use this toddler seat with any other brand product. Only use this toddler seat with the correct model VALCO Tri-mode Twin Stroller. ALWAYS ensure that each child is clear of all moving parts when adjusting the stroller. NEVER leave any child unattended in the stroller. NEVER use on escalators or stairs. When in the stroller each child must ALWAYS wear the safety harness,
correctly tted and adjusted, at all times.
