INSTALLING YOUR TWIN MAXI
COSI CAR SEAT ADAPTOR:

1. Begin preparing the Latitude stroller for the
Car Seat Adaptor by removing the canopy (hoods)
from the stroller and reclining the seats to their
fully reclined position (detailed instructions in the
Twin Latitude Stroller Instruction Manual).
2. Remove the extra hood, Male and Female

straps and Maxi Cosi strap from the packaging
and dispose of packaging responsibly.

3. The extra hood is intended to shade the seat of
the stroller being used without a car seat.
4. Prepare the Hood for installation by rotating
the hood rods so they are aligned with the
corresponding connector pieces on the stroller
frame (where the twin hood was connected.) (1)
5. Simultaneously slide the hood rods onto the
corresponding raised pieces of the stroller frame
and lock into place. (2)
6. Snap the hood snaps onto the corresponding
snap pieces on the stroller seat back.

7. The Male and Female straps are intended to
secure the car seat to the stroller frame.

8 Select a strap to secure around the side bar of
the Latitude stroller.
NOTE: ONLY SECURE THE STRAP TO THE SIDE OF
THE STROLLER WITHOUT THE HOOD.

9. Fit the strap around the side bar of the Latitude
stroller.

10. Slip the strap through the ‘opening’ of the
metal loop at the end of the strap.
11. Once strap is through the metal loop, pull
plastic end up to tighten, and secure on stroller.
12. Repeat the process outlined in Figures C to E
to attach the remaining strap to the middle bar of
the stroller.

13. Place car seat in seat portion of the stroller.
14. Be sure your car seat is securely tted over
the front bumper bar, and in the stroller seat.
TIP: YOU MAY WANT TO ADJUST THE FRONT
BUMPER BAR AND SEAT RECLINE FOR A MOST
SECURE FIT.

15. Once car seat is secured, turn stroller so you
are facing the car seat front.
16. Locate the Maxi Cosi strap (as pictured in
FIGURE A.)

17. Locate the inner front bar of the car seat
18. Wrap the strap around the bar in an UNDER,
OVER, UNDER motion until tightly wrapped around
the bar.

IMPORTANT WARNING: ALWAYS TEST THAT ALL
STRAPS ARE SECURELY ENGAGED BEFORE USE.

19. Once strap is tightly wrapped, pull the Female
clip over the front hook
20. Place Male clip under the front bumper bar
21. Insert the Male clip into the Female clip and
buckle
22. Adjust strap to tighten.

15. Locate a Male/Female straps previously
attached to side of stroller.
16. Slip strap through the car seat belt hooks on
the side of the car seat.
17. Repeat with the other strap.
18. Insert Male clip into its Female counterpart
and buckle.
19. Adjust straps to tighten around car seat.
TO REMOVE YOUR CAR SEAT:
20. Reverse the steps outlined in Figure I and lift
out the car seat.
WARNINGS
•Always follow car seat manufacturer’s instructions when using the car seat.
•Be sure to check that all straps are securely xed and in place before use.
• Check all parts for breakage or fatigue before use. Discontinue immediately if any part
is found to be damaged or broken.
• NEVER leave any child unattended at any time.
