The commode stool, VC001 chair, and VC002 chair were designed and created to be inserted over the toilet in order to allow disabled people or those with motor difficulties, to safely perform their bodily functions. Plus, it can be temporarily used as a toilet in extremely urgent situations.

Remove the complete commode chair from the cardboard packaging
Remove any tape from the wheels and the chamber pot
To assemble the commode chair, simply follow the instructions and perform the adjustments as follows:
Remove the screws in the backrest attachment; insert the backrest, then replace the screws and attach them using two 8 mm spanners.

Proceed with the assembly of the armrests using a Philips screwdriver; insert the screws in the slots and then tighten:
Legs For the Commode Stool and model VC001, it is possible to adjust the height of the seat in three positions using the peg. To adjust the height, use your thumb to push the peg inside the pipe and rotate slightly to move the leg into the desired position. Make sure all four legs are positioned at the same height.
Platform Open the clamp (figure) that attaches the platform holder to the
seat leg.
Turn the platform holder outward until it reaches the ideal front
leg-rear leg axis (Figure to the side).
Tighten the clamp to safely block the platform holder to the seat leg.
Lower the plastic footrest platform Adjust the height of the platform to the desired position.
CHECKS AND
MAINTENANCE
Weekly: Check the cleanliness of the seat and the chamber pot Monthly: check the attachment of the backrest screws. For model VC002, check the play in the pivoting wheels, check the attachment of the wheels to the seat shaft, using a 9 mm spanner.

On a weekly basis, clean the seat thoroughly using common detergents. Do not use acids or abrasive products.
Whenever the patient’s capacity cannot ensure safe use of the commode chair,
they must always be aided by a person with normal motor abilities when sitting or standing.
To make it easier for the user to sit down or stand up, lift the plastic platform;
During sitting or standing, BLOCK the rear wheels with the brake (only mod.
VC002) by stepping on the plastic bracket located on the top of the wheel.
Whenever the patient requires assistance while sitting down, the operator
must hold the seat still with their hands on the rear part (for both models);
VC002: When the patient is sitting down or standing up from the
commode, it is absolutely forbidden to rest their feet on the plastic platform!
VC002:During the transport phase, the patient must keep their feet on the
plastic platform and sit properly
Before putting the commode seat on the toilet and having the patient sit down,
remove the plastic chamber pot and padded lid.
Outside of routine maintenance, if any part should deteriorate, contact your distributor or the VAIMAS srl office directly. Our technicians will be available to help.

Only use as intended by the manufacturer.
Always assist the patient when standing up or sitting down.
For model VC002, brake the rear wheels when the user is standing up or sitting down.
During the standing up or sitting down phase, do not rest the feet on the plastic platform.
Any change or restoration must be approved by the manufacturer.
Any use other than that intended by the manufacturer, could harm the patient.
